Lost/stolen parcel

I sent a £220 car part I sold via ebay, UPS collected it a day later from the pick up/drop off shop, the parcel shows in tracking as collected, that was the last ever heard of it, item now lost from between driver pick up and the depot , I only used UPS as was fed up with international delays from Royal Mail, ,
I regret using these also now,
there is nothing I can do, I have a angry customer whom paid for this service and I am now £220 out of pocket as I have to send him another one which will be late due to Christmas,
Fed up with terrible expensive services that have no one accountable for losing my parcel. I cannot recommend clowns that dont provide a service that we pay for and expect to receive.
