Poor communication and dubious operating practices.
After agreeing a reasonable part ex deal, the problems began.
Was sent a request for payment for the full price of the watch I was part exing against. I emailed them to explain it was part ex deal and didn’t think I should be paying the full price, rather the difference. Never heard anything back.
Then received shipping labels... 5 different labels in total with confusing instructions as to what goes where, including instruction to place some in a shipping pouch. Emailed them to query what a shipping pouch was, and what/where these labels should go on the package. After an exchange of poorly translated and confusing emails and an attempt at google translate from the German instructions I gave up.
Emailed Chronext to explain I was not prepared to leave my £4350 watch to chance with their courier/wrong labelling, and the fact I had no response to my query re the part ex payment request. I had no response.
The next day a courier arrived and sent away, and the day after that I had an email from Chronext asking to make new arrangements for courier to collect. No acknowledgement of the previous emails/queries made.
