I strongly advise against signing a contract with this company. They make you sign a contact for 3 years promising that even in event of cancellation fee you will break even with their MediaMarkt NL (Oosterdokskade 67, Amsterdam, Netherlands) voucher. When it comes to cancelling (after one year) they not only charge you large, 200€ cancellation penalty but also make you return the amount of the voucher which is just a fraud in the light of explanations provided by company’s employee. They do not take any responsibility for the promises made by their own salesperson. I’ve been taken advantage off for being a foreigner and relying on explanations provided by Budget Energy’s employee, hoping that a company represented at an offline sales point at Media Markt could be more trustworthy. Those are practices that you should be ashamed of.
