Plenty Of Platitudes No Resolution

After many years enjoying seamless service from Amazon & its third party sellers I have experienced several unfavourable experiences with this company over the last few months.
Item sent in a different language.
Pre-orders arriving late while the titles are already on the high street shelves.
Third party sellers advertising goods as shipped from the UK when tracking indicates they are shipped from Europe.
My Amazon order page telling me "attempted delivery" when tracking indicates that the goods have only just reached the UK ( I had to phone the courier who told me the goods had been posted from Germany & sent me to a European courier where my tracking worked I was charged 7p a minute for this. No help from the seller at all. I thought it was being shipped from the UK & Amazon "assured" me it was too but it wasn't it had been dispatched from Germany. Had I known this I wouldn't have bought.
A codeless credit to the tune of £8 which vanished into the ether & was not able to be used.
Customer service are always very kind but sound very scripted & don't resolve or make empty promises.
Not sure why I am seeing such sloppy service & a lack of transparency recently but I won't be hanging around for more. Get it together please Amazon we have choice & people will vote with their feet.
So very disappointing.
