Easy web site. Easy to order. Immediate emailed confirmations with delivery date. Order arrived on time with carrier confirming date the day before. Very well packaged bottles in a very robust box.

Great service in general. Wide selection of product at very affordable price. Delivery cost is slightly more expensive, but the weight of items plays a big role, thus understandable.

I received a product with a broken seal that had clearly been opened and resealed with a second, loose seal. This raised serious concerns about the product’s authenticity and safety. A fully intact seal is essential for any alcohol product, as it guarantees the item hasn’t been tampered with since leaving the manufacturer.

Despite raising this concern, the seller considers the product acceptable and refuses to refund or replace it. Unfortunately, this experience has eroded my trust in the company’s ability to deliver original, factory-sealed products.

I realize at the seller have some problem to understand this situation.
If the seal of the product has been opened it always means that the product has been corrupted. Especially when it comes to alcohol products.
I can never accept two overlapping seals, the below one of which has been opened and the top one is placed on top of it and it easily comes off as a whole.

The supplier of the goods explains the situation beautifully but it does not change the situation that the seal of the bottle has been opened.

Do not order from here if you live in UK. When you order there is no mention of UK import taxes. Whilst I understand that post-Brexit we have to pay the import tax, they do not mention this when ordering. There is a single FAQ on the website that addresses this but who looks at all the FAQ's when placing an order ? You expect that when the order says "shipping fees" it includes ALL fees. The people who own this business need to invest in a better technology that recognises a UK order and makes it VERY CLEAR that there will be additional import fees. The current system is not fit for purpose for the UK market which is either because 1. They are lazy and can't be bothered to improve the technology, or 2. They are being deliberately misleading. Either way it is a very bad way to treat customers !

I recently had an excellent experience with Yo Pongo el Hielo. They delivered to my family in France from Spain, and although the first package arrived broken due to what seemed like theft or mishandling in France, the company handled the situation perfectly.

As soon as Yo Pongo el Hielo became aware of the incident, they immediately offered to either refund me or resend the package. I chose to have the package resent, and this time everything arrived perfectly and in great condition.

Their customer service was outstanding, showing genuine concern for the issue and resolving it swiftly and efficiently. Moreover, their prices are far better than those in France, which adds even more value to their excellent service.

Additionally, they offer an excellent selection of products, including the exceptional wine Dusky Sound, which my family and I thoroughly enjoy.

I am incredibly satisfied with their service and highly recommend Yo Pongo el Hielo for their professionalism, competitive prices, and commitment to customer satisfaction.

This is my third order with these guys. Their prices are first class along with their delivery and very comprehensive packaging.

This company is not transparent on their website regarding import taxes and, as far as I am aware, this is illegal. Do not use unless the goods you are purchasing are so much cheaper than elsewhere they are still cheaper after the tax has been added (which you pay separately to the delivery company). I ended up paying nearly double the price I could have paid elsewhere plus they were unable to fulfil my complete order! Do not use them.
Si8nce this experience I have discovered other reviews from people who have had a similar experience - whish I'd seen them earlier.

placed order, paid order, since then no contact or replies to 7 emails sent to them, asking where my parcel is, as not been delivered.
no contact at all, taken money and not delivered.

Do NOT trust this shop please. They deliberately exclude VAT at checkout hiding the whole bill from you so after you receive what you ordered you will get an additional bill from UPS with extra charges and (even better) you can't pay it online so I just spent 2 hours waiting at the UPS call center to pay the VAT that they hide from you. A horrible experience. Don't trust them, what you see at checkout is misleading and it's not the whole bill.

I am echoing the experience of the previous 1 star review. If you buy into the UK you are charged for the product and carriage. However the import charge is not made clear at all. It's hidden away in the "small print", clearly intentionally not transparent. To me the cost is £269 and not known to me till the delivery and the doorstep demand. Had i been aware it would have been "no sale" and i'm sure this company know this. My advice, do not use until you establish the full cost prior to purchase.

Please do not use this company within the United Kingdom. I recently placed an order with them at a cost of approximately €250 and agreed to pay the shipping of €111 on top of this. What wasn’t apparent at the point I made the purchase was that I was also liable for the Tax charge coming into the UK at a cost of £129 and the courier company UPS would not leave my goods unless I paid this fee. On contacting Yo Pongo el Hielo their explanation was that this is mentioned separately under their FAQs. However they did agree to return the costs minus the delivery costs, return courier costs and tax. How helpful ? Please consider this extra charge before purchasing as I would not have made this purchase. This fee should be more transparent when making a purchase on their website. The premise that this company is supplying genuine drinks at cheaper prices is not true in my case.
