Wybot app doesn’t work

Just bought a new wybot pool cleaner in Australia. The user guide tells me to download the app in order to set the cleaning cycles- but using their link, the app cannot download as says my iPhone needs version 17.0- which hasn’t been released yet. So I’m stuck with a Wybot that starts cleaning my walls when all I want is the pool floor

Both machines do not work

Both machines do not work. The skimmer and the solar vacuum.

The support is non existent. I’ve been trying to return them for 4 weeks now. The email responses are so slow, they take a week to reply to your emails. I still haven’t had a response for a returns label.

Avoid this company at all costs.

I have the surface skimmer wybot. It's junk don't buy there's no customer support at all. I would highly recommend not buying anything from this company before you buy try talking to the customer service and you'll find out all about this company . I've never seen so many negative reviews on this company

WATCH OUT!

They advertised a C1 Pro for $469.99 and offered $100 "upgrade" coupon if you took a picture of your old robot that you were replacing. So the C1 Pro would cost $449.99 plus tax.

I received 2 charges 1 minute apart. The first for $626.39 and a minute later for $620.98. Total charges of $1,246.98!

I immediately contacted them through their support form on their website. An hour later was contacted via email and started an in depth email chains chat with a "William" who claims at first that it was taxes and then agreed that their was a pro lem and "his team" would look into it and either refund the difference or cancel the order and refund the amount in it's entirety.
Never herd back from him again, even after multiple email attempts.

I searched and found a phone number to call and when answered (of course by a machine) I waited on hold for a few minutes to get a recorded message stating that no one could answer my call and to send them an email. After seven attempts Chris finally did answer the phone, looked up the order and admitted to being the 2 charges. She apologized and said that all she could do was file a dispute and someone would email me with a determination.

I am still waiting and still out of $1,246.98 for a $450 robot that I will never get!!

Steer clear of this company!!!

Our C1 worked for about three months.
Tried Wybot customer support and they were awful. Seems they were trying to throw up road blocks in an effort to not honor the 2 year warranty. I provided the same information over and over and performed a ton of tests and diagnostics as requested by Wybot customer support. Finally they agreed to replace the broken C1. I had to pay $100 for shipping back to them in California. They wouldn't send the warranty replacement until they receive the broken machine back. So I will have no pool cleaner for the remainder of the summer.

I’ve used this pool robot a few times…

I’ve used this pool robot a few times now, and it’s really great. It’s very easy to operate and cleans thoroughly. Leaves, dust, and other debris in the pool are all cleaned up very well.
Although it’s a bit expensive, after seeing how efficient it is, I feel it’s worth the price.

Works well and saves time

I’ve had the WYBOT for more than a month. So far, it’s been working pretty well. The battery lasts longer than I expected, and it’s definitely nice not having to clean the pool manually every time. I’m happy with it so far.

Totally disappointing: useless and overpriced product

I bought a robot for a 10x5 meter pool, but unfortunately it turned out to be a disappointing purchase. The cleaning cycle is far too short — the robot doesn’t even manage to clean the whole pool before the battery runs out.

One of the most advertised features, the automatic return to the charging station, has never worked. You always have to retrieve the robot manually, making the extra cost for this function completely pointless.

Following the instructions, I attached the floating handle, but that only made things worse: the robot "pops a wheelie" when moving forward, with the front end floating instead of sticking to the bottom — so it doesn’t vacuum properly at all.

I also contacted customer support to explain the issue and ask for assistance, but never received any reply.

I hope it helps someone thinking about buying this product.

Cleaner stopped working about 6 months…

Update. I finally got my replacement on July 7,2025. It's a cordless cleaner and I hate it. The app doesn't work if it's in the pool. You can't make a schedule because the battery will not last long enough to clean the pool once much less clean it multiple times in a week. This is the reason I don't want a cordless cleaner. Then they sent me an email yesterday telling me that my cleaner had been shipped out. Yeah I got that from seeing it at my house your about 3 weeks to late to send a tracking number. I still stand by my review on the customer service it's awful. However when the battery is charged and it cleans it is a good cleaner but the battery is awful.

Cleaner stopped working about 6 months after receiving it. I was told to ship it back and they would send a replacement. They received my cleaner on May 23 ,2025 and I still don't have my replacement yet. Every time I call I get the run around and you can't talk to the same person or even email the same person. They have been telling they have emailed me but at no point have I received an email with any shipping information. So it's been 6 weeks no cleaner they have taken my $1000.00 and my old cleaner. I would never buy anything from this company.

No delivery.

I wish I had read previous reviews before purchasing robot,I had an email saying it was delivered on 28th June 2025 at 9.46am but it was not ,I have continually email them with no reply, looks like another 499euro scam.

Awful company & customer service

Unless you go thru Amazon, DO not buy anything from this company. Their robot first of all does not work. The motor ran but it did not clean the pool whatsoever. They then give you the runaround and tell you that they will send a return slip AFTER you send them a video of it not working. I had to tell them “the item is not defective, your invention just does not work”. Numerous people have reported that the equipment has exploded. I imagine they are getting hit with lawsuits and I am going to report them to the BBB because they are trying to refuse to take a return and it’s within the 30 day period. For anyone dealing with this bs, pay it yourself to return it in time, report them to the BBB and then last resort, dispute it if they don’t process your return with your cc company. They are going to go bankrupt at this rate. They paid for their ratings.

They over charged me and support keeps…

They over charged me and support keeps ignoring my posts. Worst company ever. They also deleted my post with star 1 of their products - they have 17s 5, 2 4s and one 3 grade. No wonder how and why, if they keep deleting bad reviews. Scammers.!!!

The worst piece of junk ever

The worst piece of junk ever. Worked for 4 months then nothing. It’s still under warranty, but they won’t return a phone call or an email and when they do they want videos of why it’s not working I sent videos to them and now they want more. They are the worst. You’ll be on hold for 20 minutes and then a recording comes on. Sorry they can’t answer the phone today. Call back next week I it’s ridiculous the worst company and customer service and product ever.
