Can any one tell me why are all staff at Tesco are so miserable. Waiting at customer service desk while staff is telling customer her life story and am waiting and waiting finally I get to ask a question about if they stock a product she just takes one look at the picture of the product I had I my phone from tesco website and she tells me No We don't do it.
Is on your website you stupid idiot may be take your time and look properly.
TESCO YOU NEED TO GET PROPER STAFF THAT CARE AND TEACH THEM WHAT CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ALL ABOUT. This is related to Northwich branch and all its miserable and unhelpful staff.
Awful store
Visited Eastleigh store and wished I'd not bothered. One member of staff covering kiosk, with a long queue and the self tills (no other option). She told me there were no staff to open any tills and did not finish the approval of my bags and ignored the red light, understandable due to the queue. So I waited. Another member of staff eventually appeared and asked me what I had done! She checked my (empty) bags and completed the bag check. The store had loads of gaps in products, was very untidy and not a good experience. Then I find Tesco don't want reviews! "Speak to the store staff". Still laughing ....
Usual crap meat!
Had a leg of lamb costing £20. On eating it tasted like the Manager of the ABERDARE store had pissed on it!
As USA L with crap meat they sell it was put in the bin.
Cheap rubbish from some crap farm in no no land!
NEGATIVE BEHAVIOUR !
Dear Sir /Madam,
I want to say that when you are a colleague & are at work & you walk for "2 weeks straight & you're NOT getting TREATED PROPERLY!
SO YOU LEAVE! YOUR MANAGER DOESN'T WANT TO PAY YOU YOUR MONEY - ONLY 48.00 POUNDS FOR TWO WEEKS APART FROM THE FRIDAY!
THIS IS VERY BAD & I SHOULD BE DUE THE MONEY I'M OWING!!!!! ?
NO ONE SEEM TO CARE! , THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT THE WORKLOAD & THEMSELVES!
HOW COULD THIS BE allowed?
HOW COULD THE MANAGER SAY YOU HAVE TOO MANY HOLIDAYS -WHEN IT IS THE BEGINNING OF THE START & YOU HAVEN'T TOOK ANY HOLIDAYS, ONLY 1 WEEK IN July & two weeks at the end!
WHEN MY COLLEAGUES GO ON holiday for 1 MONTH - IT'S OKAY -( THEY GET THEIR FULL PAY!) BUT FOR ME! I HAVE NO PAY!
MANAGEMENT IS RUBBISH!, CAUSE THEY ALL ACT A CERTAIN WAY & ARE LIKE ONE ANOTHER!
THEY ARE NOT TRUE! , THEY ARE FAKE! ( THEY ARE ALL THE SAME!)
PLUS THEY HAVE TO ACT LIKE THIS - WORKING AT TESCO'S!- ( SUPPORTING 1 OTHER!)
AND BEING -WHO THEY ARE ! - DEFINITELY BAD WAYS! & WORKING ENVIRONMENT!
I'M HAPPY I FINALLY LEFT! & SHOULD HAVE DONE THAT EARLIER!

Never have enough bread at the bakery.I realise today the bakery wasn't working but there's generally no bread anyway.
Particularly brown or tiger loaf.
No Caesar dog food at all at 10am.Shelves don't seem to be stacked with much.
Customer service is good though.

Highly recommend Tesco Ware Pharmacy. The staff are always pleasant and helpful.
I’m especially grateful to Cindy, the Pharmacist. She went above and beyond to help me out with my prescription today. Thank you very much Cindy.
I have been a customer of this branch…SINCE 2018
I have been a customer of this branch since 2018 and never had any problems BUT today your shop has upset my disabled wife (im her carer) by setting DEBT COLECTORS on her ! for a parking fine of £115 She did try to pay but machine not operational and in this store OFTEN it dosent have a charge. BUT THIS TIME you set debt recovery plus onto her ref 15467232 20/06/25 .
I have tried without sucsess to speak to the shop managers,
I tried without sucess your phone nos and now cant even speak to someone on line....
Why are you making this wrong chage? Why are you making it so hard to speak to anyone? Does tesco really care SO LITTLE about its disabled customers???
todays updat RESPONCE FROM TESCO CUSTOMER CARE
as this has already gone to a debt recovery agent, I'm not sure if this fine can be waived now. However on this occasion, I've emailed the details over to the team responsible for the Faversham Superstore Car Park, and asked them to look into this further and waive the fine. You shouldn't hear anything further regarding this. Thanks - Alison
An Exemplary Standard of Service
An Exemplary Standard of Service – Commendation for Mr. Azam, Security Officer at Tesco, Sheen Lane (SW14)
It is with sincere admiration and utmost respect that I write to formally commend Mr. Azam, the security officer stationed at Tesco on Sheen Lane, SW14. In an age where exemplary customer service is increasingly rare, Mr. Azam stands as a beacon of professionalism, warmth, and unwavering dedication.
Every occasion upon which I have entered the premises, I have been consistently greeted by Mr. Azam’s gracious and welcoming smile—an immediate reassurance to all who cross the threshold, regardless of age or background. His demeanor exudes both dignity and humility, setting a tone of comfort and trust for the entire store.
Despite the frequently bustling nature of this particular branch, Mr. Azam remains resolutely attentive and engaged. He not only fulfils his official duties with diligence but goes far beyond the conventional expectations of his role. Whether assisting elderly customers with heavy bags, guiding lost patrons to specific aisles, or offering a kind word to young families, Mr. Azam demonstrates a rare commitment to public service that is both heartening and inspiring.
His presence at Tesco is not merely that of a security officer, but that of an ambassador of goodwill—his interactions marked by courtesy, empathy, and a genuine desire to enhance the experience of every individual who walks through the doors. It would not be an overstatement to say that he embodies the very spirit of community engagement and customer care.
I would strongly urge Tesco, and indeed retailers at large, to recognise and celebrate Mr. Azam’s outstanding contributions. He is a paragon of front-line excellence, and a powerful reminder that the smallest gestures, when offered with sincerity, can leave the most enduring impressions. Individuals such as Mr. Azam not only elevate the reputation of the organisation they represent but restore faith in the value of human connection within commercial spaces.
He is truly deserving of formal recognition—if not a commendation or award, then certainly of high praise from all levels of management. London would be immeasurably better served with more individuals like Mr. Azam at its civic and commercial heart.
Well done, Mr. Azam. Please continue your outstanding service—you are making a remarkable difference.

I was served excellently by Yasmine. She helped me to get my Tesco points back. Sometimes the staff make it difficult to get. She gave me grateful service with a smile and I observed she works hard. Thanks for your help Yasmine 😊

They took £47.94 on the 13/05/2025 for free delivery service, but i never used the service. Today i phoned them to cancel and have the £47.94 returned as i never used the service. The declined the refund as i was past the cooling off period. But when they wanted to sell their product there was no mention of this cooling off period. I had to give them 1 star as there was no 0 star!
Customer Complaint
Today (8th May at 10:30am), I was using the self service in Tesco Milngavie, I put through a bottle of wine and it then had to be approved, as the employee who was supervising this area was passing, I asked her to approve it but she refused saying she will get it at the end (although other employees always approve it immediately) and then literally grabbed my trolley out of my hand and told me to put it in the correct place, When I was finished I had to wait for a few minutes for her to come over to approve my purchase and I was glared at before she stormed off. I am not at all happy with her conduct or that Tesco do not appear to answer phone calls. A very unsatisfactory visit.
Lost Wallet Return
I was shopping in Tesco Transit Way on Friday the 21/03/25.
I inadvertently dropped my wallet by the produce section and unaware of this carried on shopping.
I realized it was missing when I got to the basket checkout and after having run back to my car to check it , I returned to the store to find that a Tesco employee called Ahmed had handed it in to the Security and customer service desk.
I would like to thank Ahmed for this especially as he was unable to accept any reward (Tesco Policy) If it had been lost it would have caused a major disruption for me
Thanks again to Ahmed
Awesome staff
Can't thank the young lady ( Kate) at Tesco Berwick upon Tweed high enough, her kindness was great .
We had a trolley load of food ,got to the till only to find we'd left the credit card at home, she very kindly put the trolley through the back & had it ready on our return.
All the staff at Tesco ( Berwick) are helpful & friendly
Launceston Tesco- AVOID AT ALL COST
AVOID AT ALL COST! Worst place to do your shopping in Launceston. Didn’t sell me a bottle of wine cause my 19 year old who was with me didn’t have ID on her. I dropped her off at home, came back couple hours later and they still didn’t sell it to me, because EARLIER THAT DAY I WAS SEEN with someone who looked like a minor!!!! This is getting ridiculous! HORRIBLE, IMPOLITE AND INCOMPETENT STAFF. Natalie and her friend “Karen” on the till. Making no more than national minimum wage thinking they’ve got some kind of power 🤣 Some people just need a life 🤣
Wanted to call me the manager. No thanks, I’m going to handle this another way.
Not shopping here ever again.
I will be spending my money in Lidl. At least the staff is nicer and the prices much lower.
So cold and has been for weeks
I am about to go to Tesco superstore at Sidcup and i am dreading it. Every Monday we go and for the past 6 or 7 weeks its been to this particular branch. Its a great store apart from one major problem... its so cold. The first week we went there and enquired why it was so cold we were informed that the heating was broken. Is it still broken? No one seems to know but it is warmer outside than in that store. I have been searching for the managers name and a way of contacting them to no avail so i can enquire about it. If you want to freeze your butt off this is the store for you (it is really, really cold).
Horsham Tesco
Horsham Tesco. What a joke. They are a shambles. It's colder in the store than outside, shelf labels are abysmal and cannot complain about customer services as there is none.
Shrewsbury store disgrace.
I appreciate that it is Christmas and everywhere and everyone is very busy. But this Shrewsbury branch was shambolic in terms of finding a trolley of any kind (23/12/24). I was shopping with my daughter, five-year-old granddaughter and my five month old granddaughter. I had to follow a previous customer across the car park in order to avail myself of a trolley when she had finished unloading. In doing so I passed a gentleman employee, who, I believe was employed to collect 'vacant' trolleys and return them to the bays in front of the store. I overheard him talking to customers and moaning about the people who arrive late on Christmas Eve ??? It's no wonder that you've got such poor reviews. I'm sure that trolleys are expensive, but not to have sufficient on site to cover the Pre-Christmas demand, does your reputation no good at all. PROFIT BEFORE PEOPLE.
TESCO EXTRA SHREWSBURY - DISABLED TOILET
My wife and I called into Tesco Extra, Shrewsbury for some shopping on 5 Nov. While there my wife had to use their toilets. When exiting the toilets she was distressed to see an elderly gentleman on a mobility scooter struggling to get into the male toilets which were totally unsuitable for the gentleman to use. Thankfully there were some men there to help him. She went to find a customer service representative to find out why there was not toilet for disabled people who informed her that there was. Only problem was that it was at the end of the corridor, it was not signed and a key was required for entry. That is appalling when you think of the challenges of a person in a mobility scooter taking longer than normal now has to find out through a third party that there is actually a toilet for the disabled and not only that, but they have to go get a key from customer service where they may well have to wait in a queue. This should not happen in this day and age. Its needs sorting out.
