No tickets, no response from seller or Seat Surfer!!

So, I bought tickets to a gig last summer that is taking place this week.... I have messaged the seller more than once who confirmed he would send the tickets once received and then he ignored me!! I contact Seat Surfer on Facebook and via email to their admin address and had no response!!! I am £110 out of pocket and really very concerned that I have been defrauded. I don't recommend this company and now have no choice but to raise a fraud case with Paypal and my bank. Use a more reputable company if you want to go to gigs that you have planned for months - the biggest disappointment!! Never ever again!!

Seatwave was not a good experience

Seatwave was not a good experience. Acted in haste bought expensive tickets for a gig in Wembley. Realized I could not go so I advertised the tickets for sale on seatwave for about 60% of original value.

Was pleasantly surprised there was a buyer almost instantly. The deal was you send the tickets and then the cash is paid to you. Buyers locked in via their credit card. Easy.

I sent off the tickets registered post and then wait. No money seems forthcoming. Eventually seatwave tell me the buyer can’t go to the gig and returned the tickets to them. They can try and sell or for a nice admin fee will return them to me.

Of course they never sold them. I found some people in London who could take the tickets for free. They met the seatwave person in a pub near wembley the night of the gig. They said she had an envelope with loads of tickets and was taking cash on ticket collection. Obviously they had quite a few other “buyers” that were also unable to attend - that cost me 500-600€ and a lot of annoyance. I think they are shut down now.

No money received for sale of rugby tickets

I sold two tickets for the Wales v England riugby match on the 23rd February via Seatwave, apparently the official WRU reselling partner.The sale was confirmed by email and I sent the tickets back to WRU as directed. I was told I would receive my money within 14 days. 28 days later and nothing received.
I’m now becoming very concerned and hope Seatwave can reconcile this.

Seatwave is a huge money making scam

Seatwave is a huge money making scam, and the WRU should be ashamed of themselves for allowing their fans to pay the ridiculous processing fees. Seatwave after reading many reviews don't always deliver on the goods but are still happy to charge and allow over inflated prices and an eyewatering processing/admin fee. I personally as well as many others I've spoken to, think that Seatwaves site should be taken down, or have strict rules of fair fees etc imposed. I've taken my matter further to prevent other fans being ripped off. Shame on you Seatwave and also the WRU.

The prices of tickets are set by their individual seller at the price they want to sell the ticket for. Sellers will often compete with each other to sell their tickets – so you can take advantage of the best price at the time of purchase.

I sold tickets for an event in…

I sold tickets for an event in November, i was told i will receive the payment 14 days after the event ( end Novembre in my case ) . How will i get paid while the website will shut down in October ????

Avoid selling your tickets through this…

Avoid selling your tickets through this site. Their costumer service is by far the worst experience I have ever had.

I sold two ticket through this service. I shipped them in due time, through a local vendor, as DHL Denmark is not a part of Seatwaves free shipping programme. I was explicitly told to do so by their costumer support.

Then the system started bugging me about sending the tickets - which I already had, so I decided to tell costumer support, that the tickets was shipped many days earlier.

But that's when it all started going down hill. The customer agent decided take half of the price and to send new tickets to the buyer, because I didn't send them through a service with track and trace info. Eventhough I clearly stated MULTIPLE time, that the tickets was shipped with Track & Trace. This however did not help, not matter how many times I tried telling him that I had done as I was asked and that the tickets was indeed delivered to the buyer. When I didn't back down and asked to speak to a supervicer I was promptly ignorede, and heard nothing from them in a month - And in stead of half - my ticket sale just disappeared from my seatwave panel.

Now I am left with no money, eventhough I have payed to ship the tickets - No tickets and I'm being ignored - eventhough I opened a formal complaint 14 days ago.

I have heard nothing - And its been 2 months since I shipped the tickets..

I am lost for words - I have never experienced anything as bad as this in customer care. Never use this company - Avoid at ALL cost.

I did say I had the Track & Trace informaton to your customer agent - But he never asked for it. He just canceled it and ignored me....
I can't use this answer for anything and you do not answer your emails.

Nothing was DEDUCTED from my order - I havn't recieved a dime. Not even a reciept of the deduction!?

I’m sorry to hear that you weren’t paid for this order. Once a sale is made against a listing you have entered into a contract to supply those tickets. Just as we protect you by not allowing the buyer to cancel, in turn we have to protect the buyer by making sure they get what they pay for.

In this case no tracking number was provided on the order by the deadline supplied so we could not confirm delivery. Where the delivery can't be verified a refund is offered, the refund amount is applied to the total buyers price which is inclusive of processing fees, delivery and VAT, and these costs are passed on to you in line with the terms of your User Agreement as shown when registering with us.

I’m sorry for any confusion and hope this explains the costs that have been deducted from your payment.

Great!

First I got a ticket when they were all sold out from official sellers.
Second, there was printed the name of the first buyer but no problem to enter the concert.
So everything i got in time and I got plenty of fun on JT concert.

NEVER RECEIVED MY TICKET

Bought a ticket for wireless festival (08/07/18) A week before I was told the ticket had been dispatched. Then on the day of delivery I waited for the delivery and UPS didn't show. Then I was told it was waiting at a UPS pickup location and I had until the 05/07/18 to pick them up. On arrival at the store on the 02/07/18 I was told that the there was no such order there and that the parcel number was invalid/did not exist. I have since tried to contact both UPS and Seatwave but Seatwave do not provide an email number and you will be perpetually waiting on hold or disconnected. I paid £120 all to not receive my ticket and not go to the festival.

Seatwave should at least provide a suitable method of communication for it's customers

I had sold two tickets for Shakira…

I had sold two tickets for Shakira concert held at WiZink Center Antiguo Palacio de Deportes, Madrid at 21:15 on the 3rd of July, 18 via seatwave. [Reference ID:2063434, ID:2063430 ].
I received an email that stated that "Payment for ticket sales has now been processed " on the 22nd of July, 2018 and that it would take upto 10 days to be processed via Paypal. it has been 12 days since I received the email but haven't received the 81 Euros that I was supposed to receive on my Paypal account.

NEED HELP ASAP!

If there's any representatives from Seatwave here. Please contact me asap!! I've been trying til reach you without luck so far. I've been trying to sell my tickets to the Killers Helsinki show (listing confirmation number:16451454) . I aslo got email with a sale confirmation number: 2065062 but looking at my account it's not clear at all if my ticket has been sold or not.

Also, I don't think that it's clear enough that it's a ticket REsale company. When I bought my ticket I got re-directed from the official event site without noticing what kind of a website it was. This is probably parrtly my own fault but I still think that it should be made more clear than it is right now. And the commission they taket from each sale/buy is riddiculus.

Beware overseas concert ticket buyers

On 14 December 2017 I purchased tickets to the Eric Clapton concert taking place 8 July 2018 in Hyde Park. I reside in Australia and with the benefit now of hindsight, I was naïve in thinking I would receive these tickets with sufficient time to enable me to organise my trip to London. Months before, I started making enquiries as to when I would receive my tickets. At no time was I given information about when or how I would receive the tickets. On the day prior to the concert I received an email advising e-tickets were available. Be aware, that Seatwave expects you to fly to your concert location from wherever you are in the world, without a valid ticket in hand, trusting that you will receive your ticket in time. Seatwave have abrogated any responsibility, saying the tickets were sent before the concert started, not taking into account where you may have to travel from in the world.

Genuine cry for help.

So I purchased a longitude Sunday ticket early Thursday morning, a bit last minute I’m aware but from what I read on the site and after purchasing the ticket that I had to wait for the e-ticket to be uploaded by the seller. It’s now Friday evening and I have yet to receive any information or the ticket itself. Swat wave have deducted the money from my account and as a 17 year old student I’m not in a position to purchase another ticket elsewhere unless I’m guaranteed a refund from seatwave. I have rang several different contact numbers for seatwave customer service to which they have either been disconnected or permanently on hold. All I want is an email or some form of contact to try sort this out. Seatwave states to just email or contact them inform help but there’s no contact details on their site!! If someone from seatwave is reading this please email me through: eoinisnow@ gmail.com This situation is beyond stressful and I already have a bus organised and don’t know what to do. Don't use this company

Don't use this company:

1). They are a ticket reselling company which means they don't own any tickets but allow users to buy and sell. This means that there is no price regulation - sellers can value their tickets at extortionate prices. Sellers will also sell batches of tickets meaning that you won't be able to choose how many tickets you want

2). I bought Paul Simon tickets for a Dublin show at the RDS. Haven't received the e - tickets & its the day of the show!

3). Can't get hold of the consumer service - on hold for half an hour

Dissapointed !!!

I have purchased two Paul Simon tickets for this weekend’s concert. I still have not received the tickets nor have I received an email with the tracking number that they advised that I would in the booking confirmation. It’s a few days prior to the concert and I am very stressed about the whole situation. I am regretting buying through seatwave when I had the option to buy through another company which had instant printable tickets !
For a stress free purchase rather pay for instant tickets and avoid any drama and the unknown of if you will or won’t be attending the concert you have paid for ... prefer to avoid the embarrassment of giving my boyfriend a experience gift that I don’t have and not sure we can now attend !

I sold 2 tickets to the Shakira Concert…

I sold 2 tickets to the Shakira Concert in Madrid for July 3rd 2018 and can't tell where funds will be sent. I received an email with the confirmation of the sold tickets and that I will be getting 96.68 Euros. Announcement ID 16353228, sale ref # 2067241. I called customer service and only got a machine no matter what I pressed, I looked at FAQs and they're completely useless and finally found an email address only to receive a reply saying the email is n longer being monitored without being re-directed to a different contact address/number.

I recently purchased two tickets for the Eminem performance in Nijmegen this Thursday which succesfully arrived in my mailbox. However, I purchased an additional ticket 9 days ago which has not arrived so far (concert is in 2 days). The money is transfered from my bank-account, but I did not get any confirmation email, so I do not the order number. There is a number on my bank transfer that his 7 digits, which I hope is the order numbers and I it in the order number cell. Is there any way you guys can help me out? I will try call you guys tomorrow, but I am afraid from the other reviews that you will not be responding.

EDIT: I spent two full days trying to get in touch with someone from Seatwave, however all effort was in vain. The company is completely unreachable and if you ask me is a huge scamming company. >>>>>>>> DO NOT BUY TICKETS VIA SEATWAVE <<<<<<<

I purchased a ticket for a festival in Madrid...No info on the ticket at all.

I purchased a ticket for a festival in Madrid over two weeks ago. It begins in a few days and have received no information about the ticket whereabouts. I need the bracelet too to get in and I have heard nothing. I have the order number on an email but that is it.

I have called 1 million times and recieved no info. I emailed and got a response saying we are busy and received a link to questions that had already been asked. I have the right to at least know what has happened with the ticket and my MONEY!!! Now I dont care if the ticket comes or I get a refund but I need to be guaranteed I will get one or the other. So far you have answered to nothing Seatwave. Very poor customer service.

Because we’re a resale website and we don't own the tickets we can't give you an exact date of dispatch as this will depend on when your seller receives tickets from their place of purchase

Unfortunately sometimes, as is the case with tickets for Madcool the event organisers can dispatch tickets close to the event date and even as up until the week of the event. But we've checked your order and can see that your tickets were delivered to you as e-tickets and our Customer Service Team were in touch with you to advise a wristband was not required for your ticket type.

Absolutely terrible service..

Absolutely terrible service... I have bought a wireless ticket for over £200 which has not arrived and it’s now a day before the event.. I was assured my tickets would come in time and they haven’t...not only have you fleeced me out of £200 ;you haven’t even provided the tickets at all...I want a full refund because this is poor customer service and poor business. customer service team sounded like robots; they didn’t sound like they knew what they were doing at all 😡

terrible company

terrible company, terrible customer services, unable to get hold of them, no answer to phone on hold for hours, several days in a row listening to pink over and over again !!, no answer to emails i have sent regarding ticket that has not arrived and event is tomorrow, checked on account and it has been dispatched and is today with ups but can be delivered up to 7pm, , had no email as told when paid that i would receive to confirm dispatch as of yesterday it wasnt, ! i have now brought ticket elsewhere due to not knowing if it will arrive

Most of the time, you’ll just be put in a queue, but occasionally – if the volume of calls would mean unacceptably long queue times – we’ll ask you to call back later instead.

We know this isn’t always ideal, but we feel it’s important to let you know that we can’t take your call at the moment, rather than keep you hanging on for extended periods of time.

As an alternative to calling, we also have a full team of agents on hand to answer any queries via email. That said, we're pleased to see that the tickets were delivered successfully.

I'm trying to take down the tickets I'm selling and the website doesn't let me. Neither the phone numbers etc. As long as I don't upload the tickets to the buyer they can't make use of it right?
