DO NOT RECOMMEND

I was informed of the £100 recommend a friend. I contacted them May and was informed I would receive the money within 14 days. Since then I’ve called but number goes dead. And emailed. No response. So they are either ignoring me or at not in business anymore.

Avoid, Avoid

With two teens a dog and New baby on the way in Dec, we wanted a second affordable car with 7 seats, when I stumbled across the Dacia Jogger Comfort, the Mid level of the 3 available. After filling in a never ending amount of online enquiry forms for Various Lease Companies and getting prices RGW came out what seemed the cheapest by £10 a week, add that over 4 years and its a fair chunk. I emailed back and forth with Nick and paid my processing fee , receiving an invoice for a Comfort Spec Jogger, due Jan/Feb 2023. After a couple of months I thought I check on the process of the car online and noticed RGW had ordered a Bottom Spec Essential Jogger. I contacted Dan by email and then phone after the email was Ignored. He said he would look into. The birth of my son and Xmas took my mind off the car until I got emailed that l it would be with me in Feb. The bottom Spec I didn't want. As I was quoted for a mid Spec car and needed the car now, I enquired about a discount on the agreed price as I'd not received the agreed upon car. RGW refused and said the price was always for the bottom Spec. despite my invoice and email chain asking for prices in a mid Spec Comfort, cancelling would be an option but incur costs for myself also which I couldn't afford to do. So it a 1star from me, MISLED, MISSOLD, the whole process was pretty poor and amateurish before the car error. Communication, product knowledge of what they are selling, customer service clearly not high on the company's agenda. Next time I'm using a more professional company even if it is a few quid extra, I strongly suggest you do the same AVOID............. oh the lad that delivered the car to us was the only positive thing in the whole process, lovely chap.....

Update to reply

I was not once offered the higher model,Nick didn't do a thing to help, I have the email chain to prove it. And all the emails and correspondence started for a midlevel "Comfort" as the INVOICE shows. Intact I have a second document that states "Comfort" on the order

Hi Mark. You enquired on and ordered the Essential model. In December you raised this with us and we offered to get you the model higher but you didnt want to pay for it or wait the extra time it would take to get it. Fair enough but you have the vehicle that you enquired on and signed an order for. You were not mis led or mis sold.
I genuinely wish we could put attachments on here so you and the rest of the world can see your enquiry and signed order for the entry level model you ordered and took delivery of. Your rant is pure madness!

Terrible Customer Service

Terrible customer service! firstly we had delivery confirmed as our MG cars had arrived end of August 2022, we sold our cars on this basis to then be told they had ordered the wrong model and our cars were not actually in the UK!!!. We had originally ordered Black cars and we were told these would be delivered in Qtr 4 of 2022, but these cars never came so in the end we accepted an alternative which were white cars instead. We were then told that the white cars were coming in October We called weekly to get updates to be told they had no idea where are cars where and that they should be in soon. We finally received our cars in Dec 2022 after ordering in March 2022 and being promised delivery in August. Throughout the whole process we have been spoken to extremely rudely, they have ignored our messages, not called back when promised and we were promised a refund to our admin fee because of the inconvenience caused to us by the manager (who cannot be named but you know who you are and you are a liar) who then changed his mind and went back on his word and refused to refund. We will never use this company again, they cannot be trusted, they make mistakes and do not take responsibility and do not treat their customers fairly. The price is great but the service is shocking.

Good Price, Great service

I was first attracted by the price as they were significantly cheaper than the rest but through the process they were always clear and responsive to any queries I had. It is not easy obtaining a new car in 2022 with supply chain disruption and chip shortages but RGW were always trying their best to sort it out. Which they did. Thank you.

Great communication!

Easy to deal with and great communication! RGW Contracts really helped with the order, making sure the delivery timescales and car spec matched what i needed. They also chased up manufacturers and ensured i knew what was going on at every stage of the process. A pleasure doing business and I'm really enjoying my new car, thanks!

Trying to charge me extra monthly

Ordered an mg zs in March 22 to be delivered October.. this was delayed but had a call today to say my car is almost ready.. however the price I signed up for is no longer the price as one of their colleauges had messed up the quote and I'd have to fork out an extra £40 a month for the car and they wouldn't honor the original price.

Great service by RGW

Great service by RGW, Hyundai Tucson arrived looking great yesterday. Car took a bit longer to arrive due to circumstances out of their control but they were upfront with me that this was likely due to world events and shortages. They we're always on hand to help with swift responses and would recommend them to anyone seeking to lease.

New Audi Q4 e-Tron delivered this week…

New Audi Q4 e-Tron delivered this week and apart from the manufacturing delays, which were nothing to do with RGW, everything went well. This is the second time i have used them and it was useful as advice on hand regarding extending the lease for the existing car whilst waiting for Audi to build it.

Very Disappointed

UPDATE 21/11/22
Thanks for your response of 15/11, and sorry it's taken so long to reply in kind - I have been checking some of the facts.
Firstly, I'm surprised to learn I had "threatened to leave a 1 Star Review", as you state. From my recollection, my only comments in relation to the review you had requested were that I was considering the contents of the review, and they would be truthful and honest. Is that the perceived threat? I'm not sure how that constitutes a threat, but you may have something else that you can produce to substantiate that claim should the need arise?
Secondly, I note you are not disputing any of the facts in my review - I take it from that the readers can assume the facts are correct?
As you say, the numbers of stars I awarded should be irrelevant - as long as the readers have the corrects facts, they can make their own assessment of what is a fair review. Chances are most transactions will probably go smoothly - what people need to decide is do they want to take the risk of suffering the same kind of problems that befell me should all not go according to plan, or mistakes get made?
In MY opinion the mark of a good service company is how they react and respond when things don't go well with a transaction. RGW's response to a problem initially of their making (sending wrong information to the maintenance company) therefore speaks volumes .....

ORIGINAL REVIEW 14/11/22
Overall I have been left very disappointed by the experience with RGW. Although many of the problems were not of RGW's making, it seems at least one was, and they have no interest in trying rectify it. In summary:
- Vehicle was ordered mid August, while en-route to a UK port for beginning of Sept, and expected delivery to me of mid-Sept. Ultimately a different (but same spec) vehicle was delivered at the end of October. Probably not something in RGW's control, and the change of vehicle was to try and speed delivery up, so at this stage, although not overly happy, can see this is outside of RGW's control.
- However, after the change of vehicle, I was told there had been a "mistake in the supplier pricing", and I would need to pay another £100 if I wanted the vehicle. It seemed I had little choice in the matter if I still wanted the vehicle.
- The vehicle was delivered at 4:30pm on a Friday afternoon - by being driven 40 miles from it's preparation centre to my home address. It had been raining that morning so the vehicle was obviously dirty, and the delivery driver gave no handover - just handed me some keys, took some photos, and off he went.
- The vehicle also had some set up issues which needed addressing. I spoke to RGW about these and the delivery service, but they advised this wasn't their responsibility, and I'd need to speak to the manufacturer (MG) to sort things out. I ultimately booked it in to a local dealer a few days later to get the set up issues rectified.
- Final straw: I discovered last week RGW appear to have given the incorrect price on the maintenance agreement to the maintenance company - but even though it's an error on their part, their response has been it's too late to get it rectified, and it's my fault for not spotting it ...
So, I've had to wait 6 weeks longer than anticipated for the vehicle, had to pay more than the agreed quoted price and order, and have had to sort any problems with the vehicle out myself - so yes it's not been the best experience.
In their defence, the people I spoke on the phone during the process were generally nice and sounded like they were trying to be helpful - but that wasn't the case when it came to the final call about their error on the maintenance.

Thank you for taking the time to review us. Also thanks for pointing out that the delays were out of RGW's control which is agreed. Given that we were always nice we are disappointed that you have left us a 1 star review but not massively surprised given you had threatened to do so. So the rest of the world can have a balanced view - you will agree that we sent you the maintenance contract to check, sign and return - which you did. You only noticed after the contract had been set live that the price was out by a few pounds a month. As discussed on the phone, we agreed that it was wrong but as it was set to live after you checked and signed it our options were limited to leaving it as it is or cancelling it unfortunately. I am sorry this error you didn't check has resulted in us having a 1 star review

Where's the copy of my recorded phone…

Can't help but notice a lot of these 1 star reviews are getting removed?
Where's the copy of my recorded phone calls?
Can't deliver on time, no phone call to say otherwise! Stay away from this company! Now their demanding over £3,000 with no car at the end of it all. Recorded phone calls I asked over a month ago, they are still trying to get off their system!
LOOK ELSEWHERE AND SAVE THE HASSLE AND ANYWHERE IS BETTER THAN RGW.

RGW Vehicle Leasing Experience

Under the circumstances RGW did sort out my vehicle requirements. Although I was told I had to bring forward my delivery date and pay a monthly fee twice (i.e. my existing lease payment and the new lease).

I also have to chase the £100 deposit which was refunded.

Seemed a bit unorganised but they do deliver in the end.

So they always flag the reviews?I only deal in Facts

So they keep getting my reviews removed. Stay away from this company. Charging me £1260 for a delivery that they couldn't deliver on time. Even though its £120 for aborted delivery fee.

And £1,800 to cancel the contract even I never ever wanted to cancel the order and I have emails to back it up. The phone calls they said they recorded they haven't sent them to me.
So £3,260 in total with no car at the end of it! And the want me to sign a NDA form, so I can not disscus this with one? Nope! They make it up as they go along!
Send me the tapes of the recored phone calls, stop demanding the invoices to be paid! As I have asked for the copy of the calls then we will see where we are at! Flag this up again, tell me where am wrong!

I couldn't wait a full day for the car, so we got in the contract AM, I waited the AM and called to say my wife is in hospital receiving a stem cell transplant fighting leukemia. Very serious situation for us as a family, I was very annoyed as they wasted My morning, I am the only person who is able to visit my wife, told them I couldn't wait as I had to pick up my kids from school, and I only feel as ease, when am with my wife, his reponse was I never put her there! Let that sink in! Disgraceful

Send me your tapes I will never let this go!

Thank you for your 13th different review Callum and sorry you remain unhappy. As discussed on the phone your car was due today until you cancelled it. I did have a conversation with your wife who explained that you were likely taking your frustration out on me, which given the circumstances we understand. However you were shouting and swearing suggesting that it was my fault she was in hospital, which is why I said I was sorry your wife was having treatment but I wasn't responsible for her being in hospital.

Sorry we couldn't conclude any business on this occasion and we all wish your wife a speedy recovery.
