Following the death of my mother, who lived in a different state from me, I looked for long distance movers to move her belongings here so my sister and I could go through them. I engaged MoveSafe when I spoke with Andrew. He was very well spoken, made many assurances, even gave me his cell phone number to call if I had any issues. He was very good at making me feel at ease. What he did not do, is explain that they were simply brokers, and would engage other companies to handle the move. I paid a 50% deposit of the quote he gave me to reserve the move. When the movers showed up, there was a lot of miscommunication already. They were from a different company, First Class Movers, and they immediately increased the price by almost $1,000. I was then told that they would not accept a credit card (which I had confirmed would be ok with Andrew at Move Safe at the time of reservation). Move Safe was able to get them to agree to the cc, but there would be a processing fee. When I challenged this, Move Safe agreed to refund me $100. I was then sent an NDA in order to get the refund. This was the second red flag. They also did not send adequate crew to load the materials and my sister and her husband had to assist with the piano. Once loaded, my load remained in limbo for several weeks with no promise of delivery day. Finally, I received a call at 7pm from the driver stating they would be delivering our load at 10pm. When I declined this, I was told I would need to zelle the remaining balance for them to wait. Ultimately, we arranged a time the next morning. When we got there- the price was again higher than agreed in the contract. Andrew stopped answering my calls, and the regular customer service people at Movesafe advised me to "just pay it to get my items". At the end of the day, our items moved through 4 different vendors and there was miscommunication and extra charges at every turn. Do NOT trust these people- they are the kings of bait and switch!

This company is great ! They made my moving a really less stressful event than I was anticipating. I would really recommend them, they were referred to my by a co-worker and I'll do the same with others.

Disappointing Experience - Misleading Quote and Poor Communication

I had a very frustrating experience with this moving company (MoveSafe Relocation). Initially, I was provided by Nicholas Blehr with a quote that detailed the cost and items to be moved. However, when the driver arrived, I was informed of a completely different amount and additional information that was not disclosed during the quoting process.

The discrepancy between the quote and what the driver communicated was unacceptable. It felt like a bait-and-switch tactic, leaving me feeling misled and unprepared. Clear and accurate communication is critical in a service like this, and unfortunately, this company failed to deliver on that front.

I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for a reliable and transparent moving service. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere.

We were forced to move a whole storefront. The business transfer was handled flawlessly by MoveSafe Relocation. The crew was kind, the equipment was handled carefully, and the inventory properly packaged. We were able to reopen sooner than anticipated. Well done on reducing missed business hours.

Going cross-country made me anxious because I've only ever moved across town. Every element, including container alternatives, timing and insurance, was explained to me by the Move Safe staff. They were on time for the move and quickly unloaded when they got there. Everything made it through the trip alive. Five stars.

MoveSafe's storage service was just what we needed because we sold our house before our new one was ready. When we requested it, they delivered our furniture after carefully storing it. There was nothing missing or broken. It helped us relax during a trying period.

Around the first of April 2025, I contacted MoveSafe Relocation 811 Lucerne Ave, Lake Worth, FL 33460, about a cross counttry move from PA to NM. I spoke with Andrew Melici, (561) 286-7399, and explained that I was looking for a mover who could load my personal belongings into a box truck and transport to my new location. I specifically stated numerous times that I did not want my goods repeatedly on loaded and off loaded before reaching my destination, and that the pickup and drop off locations would probably not accommodate a semi. Andrew assured my husband and me that he completely understood our concerns and wrote specifically on our bill of lading “serviced in a 30’ truck.” He gave us a cost of $7303.71 which was to include a mattress bag and 3 TV boxes. We agreed to the price and paid $2850.00.
June 19, 2025 we received a call from Nikki Buis for a final inventory check. After totaling everything, she said if we wanted complete peace of mind that the truck would contain only our belongings and not have anyone else's property, we could do that for an extra $4,477.60. She repeated that paying the extra would give us complete peace of mind. We were led to believe by Andrew, that is what we were getting at the original cost of $7303.71 but Nikki evaded responding to that and moved on to something else. Not having any choice at this point, we agreed and signed a new estimate at $11,781.31. We made another payment for $2800.00. We said we wanted pickup on Monday June 23rd. She said someone would be calling us probably the next day (Friday). By Saturday when we didn't hear anything, I called the company and was told Ashley would call us on Sunday. When no one called on Sunday, I called again and left another message. Shortly after, Ashley calls to say the movers wouldn't be here until Tuesday between 7 and 9.
The movers finally arrived at 9:30. Two did not speak English, and the person in charge was almost impossible to understand. He starts telling me it's going to cost an additional $3200.00. I keep asking for what and it is impossible to understand what he is explaining. In hindsight I should have called MoveSafe and asked what this was about, but I was under extreme pressure to get moved out. I think this is one of their tactics. Work would not start until we gave him a check for $4659.35. When the truck was loaded up, I was asked when I wanted delivery. I said July 1.
I had to sign and initial multiple pages of paperwork and didn't feel comfortable not knowing what I was signing, but at this point, I just wanted it done. I asked where the truck was headed and he said back to NJ until it is time to head to NM.
As soon as they left I called MoveSafe and asked Ashley why I was charged another $3200.00 extra. She said she would request the paperwork from Movement and call me back. We left the following morning driving our rv to get to NM before the July 1 delivery. After several days passed with no return call, I called Ashley again and she still did not have the information. I never heard from her again.
Thursday June 26th I get a call from Movement telling me my goods are being loaded onto the truck for delivery. I asked, what do you mean being loaded? They're supposed to be delivered in the box truck. He said if that's what I wanted it would be twice the price. I was in complete shock and furious. If that wasn't bad enough, he said if the semi couldn't fit in our location it would be an extra $1100 to shuttle my goods between the semi and my house. I reminded this person that was one of the reasons I had requested a box truck in the first place. He repeated again that it would have been twice the price. He then tells me that my delivery date could be anywhere from 1 to 2 weeks from the July 1st request. He said “you signed the part that says that.” I couldn't handle anymore and hung up.
NEVER in my business dealings have I ever been met with such dishonesty and blatant disregard for the customer. My total expenses for this move were $15,019.35. This was $7,715.64 more than originally quoted! And after the move was over I had over $3400 in stolen and damaged property. PLEASE DO not EVER use this company!!!

They really did the coordination of pickup, transit, and delivery in a flawless manner. I was given the opportunity to monitor the progress, inquire, and I always received a response that was of great assistance. The company MoveSafe Relocation was absolutely a provider of what was promised. The whole personal stuff was delivered without damage and at the agreed time. I am not at all regretting the money I spent on this service.

As a nurse, I value professionalism, clear communication, and attention to detail. MoveSafe Relocation did a wonderful job with my recent move. The team arrived on time, handled everything carefully, and made sure even fragile items were well protected.

What stood out most was how they kept me updated throughout the process, which gave me peace of mind. Everything arrived safely and in good condition.

While renovating, we required storage, and MoveSafe's storage and moving service was ideal. After carefully packing and safely storing our possessions, they made the scheduled delivery. We were totally supported, nothing was lost, and everything remained protected. I felt more at ease during a difficult renovation time because of the smooth cooperation.

We had to relocate our grand piano, and I was nervous. When MoveSafe's piano movers arrived, they were prepared with straps, thick blankets, and a knowledgeable staff. Without being hurt, they maneuvered through narrow halls, staircases, and angles. In its new location, the piano looks beautiful. Really good work.

I moved within the city and Move Safe made the process quick, easy and pleasant. Positive and cautious, the crew focused on efficiency rather than harm. Strongly suggested!!

I hired MoveSafe Relocation as the broker for an interstate move (JOB# G2713971). At point of sale I was given a binding estimate and verbally told the delivery would occur within the 2–14 business day window for my distance; I relied on that timeline for planning. I later learned they were acting as a broker (not disclosed clearly at time of quote) and they passed my job to First Class Movers.

Major problems started during the broker’s quality assurance process: the broker re-issued an updated quote that did not follow the original binding rate. My initial binding estimate quoted around $3,400. During QA the broker presented a new quote that pushed my total to approximately $6,000 — and when the carrier actually performed the move, the final charge was roughly $7,100. That’s a dramatic jump from the binding rate I was sold, with no clear, upfront explanation of why the binding terms were not being honored.

When I questioned the discrepancy and asked for clarity, the broker’s representative became defensive and aggressive on the call instead of explaining the change. After pickup, MoveSafe effectively washed their hands of the operational side — telling me the carrier “is now in control” and they couldn’t do anything to help. The carrier (First Class Movers) provided only vague status updates, repeatedly referencing “logistical delays” and refusing to provide concrete dispatch or driver details until the last minute.

Delivery arrived late (well beyond the 0–14 business day expectation that was repeatedly communicated) and — critically — three boxes/items were missing: a vacuum box, an electric bike, and a keyboard (kids’ size). I documented the timeline, retained emails showing the 2–14 business day representation (including an Aug 25 communication), and have photos of the delivered shipment and the contract estimate table.

This felt like a classic bait-and-switch: sold on a binding rate and a short delivery window, then handed off to a carrier with a much higher final cost and minimal accountability. Between the undisclosed broker relationship, the QA re-quote that ignored the binding rate, the huge price increase (from ~$3,400 → ~$6,000 → final ~$7,100), the late delivery, and the missing items — I cannot recommend MoveSafe Relocation or First Class Movers.

I am happy to provide my email thread, the original estimate screenshot, and photos of the delivery if requested. If you’re considering a move, get everything in writing (including who is the broker vs. carrier), insist on the binding rate in the carrier’s bill of lading, and be prepared for bait-and-switch tactics with this broker/carrier combo.

Excellent service was provided by MoveSafe Relocation from the initial phone contact until the final box was unloaded. They treated my décor, artwork, and furnishings like priceless possessions. There were no unpleasant surprises in the pricing, the movers were polite, and the packing was done with care. I like that they stayed in contact at every stage.
