Absolute scam artists

Absolute scam artists. Please please avoid. These are terrible people who will steal your money AND domain name. I honestly do not know how they have been allowed to stay open when they are an illegal operation. I lost so much money and my website address. They have owned it for 3 years and repeatedly renew it so there's no way I can retrieve it. I reported them to Go Daddy who they buy their website URLs through but there's little they can do. They are an utter scam. Seeing all the other reviews makes me realise I'm one of hundreds affected. I see lots of people have filed legal action against them, has anyone been successful? I'd love to know.

Logo Royale or Logo Cottage?

See my review here today on Trust Pilot for a company called LogoCottage. These two "companies" seem to be the same operation.

I paid over £59 some six months ago to a company called Logo Cottage for a logo design which was never delivered. Today, I received an email from a Chris Lee @LogoRoyale.co.uk offering to restart my order if I paid him £50.

I have had a terrible experience with this company. I have lost my money, they have gone completely ‘dead’ on me after refusing to pass the site to another company who would actually finish it. I am taking legal advice.

Scam smart scam you wont be able to get your money back do not use Logo Royale

you can have a look at my project it is unfinished and I'm not going to finish because i realised that they are not a real company they are just a very scam team

just google (Apex Choice Motors Logo Royale) it will come up for you

i have selected a package of project and they described it as it is all in and i don't need anything else, half way the project when they know exactly what you need they start start with offering you the things you need and they say they are not included on the package i end up paying 4 times more than the original price and now they told me i need to pay £2200 to activate the website for me or £650 to give me it as it is i end up paying £1870 for the main package and all the other mini offers.
wasting a lot of time and energy lost a lot of money for nothing.

Stay way from these guys

Stay way from these guys. They are a bunch of bullies and scammers!!

They pull you in with what seems an amazing deal but once you have paid that first amount, they have you cornered! They use your lack of knowledge of website development against you and get you to pay for more and more in order to proceed.

I signed up for a £500.00 package. A few months later, after having reluctantly paid £1,450.00 in total and still being asked for even more money in order to continue, I was left with no choice but to pull out. I had no money left to go any further. I got hounded but just could not afford to pay any more. I had the login details to the backend but when I tried to login a year later, they had changed my login credentials. I feel this was done out of spite so I could not gain access to anything without phoning them first.

In the end I had no choice and phoned Logo Royale, told them I wanted access to my files, etc. They tried to bully me into continuing my hosting and site management with them but I refused. I was then told that if I didn't want them to host my site, then they were taking it down, which they did straight away. My site was taken down, Wordpress backend shut down and they would not give me the opportunity to transfer the hosting, etc. They would also not assist in giving permission for my domain name to get transferred into my name (it was registered under them). I was told that is my problem to sort out if I don't want to stay with them. I asked for my files again but have not received anything. I have absolutely nothing apart from original logo and stationery design, which is not even worth a £100.00. Not much after paying them the £1,450.00!

I will be building a legal case against this company. I never leave reviews online but thought I needed to leave one for this company. Hopefully it will help prevent some other poor person from loosing all their savings like I did.

I am disgusted by these people and their business ethic. I urge you to stay far far away from them.

Avoid Them

They are a scam and they did not deliver what we agreed and they demand more money. We agreed 6337GBP and they ask a money that is close to 10,000. and they will steal your money. but I disputed my money from the bank and they don't deliver the service then everybody is entitle to get their money back by disputing your bank.
Contact your bank and ask chargeback transection.

Avoid this company like the plague!

Avoid this company! Several months ago I made a formal complaint to Logo Royale & left a negative review on Trust Pilot as I was very unhappy that a certain member of their sales team constantly telephoned me & tried to pressurise me into paying more money towards the upkeep of my website for which I had already paid over the odds for. Some minor website issues were eventually corrected, but the company kept harassing me to remove the negative review. After reading the other similar negative comments on here, I would like to warn other customers to be careful when dealing with this company. Looking back now I feel cheated after paying out such a large sum of money for something that was just average.

Do not waste your time and money!

Do not waste your time and money. They are the worse company I have ever worked with. Cannot follow simple instructions as their English is very basic and cannot understand what you say but also they do not have common sense.

We paid over £600.00 for their service and in the end we had to give up and lost our money as well as business due to the unfinished product and non-advertisement. They offer no refund although it was their fault.

You may think you are getting a great deal but in the end you will just end up paying double of what you initiated.

Absolute Horrible Company To Work With!!

Do not waste your TIME, MONEY AND PATIENCE on this company!!

Absolutely disgusting people and company to deal with. I started my website with them back in February this year and it has taken them the whole year to not even finish it, in the end I had to scrap them off and take a loss as they chewed up so much of my time. The silly people claim they are in the UK and based in London when clearly they are not. Being an Asian (Indian) myself I only ever hear Indian speaking agents and I know when I hear Indians talk, yet when I ask the question where are the British speaking agents they claim that they have an office with more international people loll what a serious joke!

So where do I begin because the above was just a taster. It all began with a guy called David Moore who is there sales man and hand puppet. He gave me a price from the start and throughout the course of the campaign it kept on going up and up. The amount of stress I had with this company goes beyond ones imagination. They have been working on my project for a year and still to date it was not finished as when you speak to their middle men they don't understand you and the designer gives you something you don't ask for and you just keep going round and round and then they have a cheek to tall you that I was taking long and how I was being to picky. Surely if I dont' get what I want am I not entitled to ask for work to be redone until it is done correctly? Of course I am....Logo Royale don't care if they say it's done then it's done!

Now let me name and shame a few people here. You have David Moore who was never around, once he sells you a package and when you ask for him he's changed position in the company how convenient. Then you have Alan White who thinks he can make up terms and conditions because he is they daddy of logo royale and then you have Terry McGuiness who was my project manager yet this guy was always never around or always off work. I don't believe for one minute there names are even real.

Moving on to the way they treated me as a paying client is absolutely disgusting. Work was never completed on time and goal posts were always changing to suit them and they way they work which is very unethical.

I can keep going on about this company but I have wasted enough time and energy on them so I will say in short do not waste your money with them and don't be conned by their gallery on there 100's of websites they have offering there services. You will become frustrated and fed up and in the end it will cost you more than you can imagine. Do believe the fake reviews on here as they are absolutely genuine and the good reviews are Logo Royale themselves posting them up.

Oh by the way 1 star is even generous for this pony company!!

Don't touch with a barge pole, slightly better than an outright Scam.

We were impressed by the Trust Pilot (hereon referred to as TP) reviews of Logo Royale, (hereon referred to as LR.)
So when we decided to invest in an e-commerce website we contacted LR and in fairness to them they were extremely quick to respond. The first task was to come up with a couple of logo’s for us, this was extremely quick and if you don’t know any different I guess this was a not-too-bad service, since then we have used freelancer.com and had much better results for far less.

We started on the design of the website November 2017 and all I can liken the entire experience to is that of extracting ones own teeth without any anaesthetic!!! Every step was seen as an opportunity to extract more money from us, so the initial GBP 1,100 Platinum Customised e-commerce website quickly grew, with things like, GDRP compliance, SSL Certificates, Lifelong Hosting, security add-ons, additional, this, additional that. In the end we ended up spending well over GBP 3,800.00 but once your committed, your committed as they say.
We bought everything, the entire dream, thinking the next purchase may get them kickstarted into working on our project.
We got the website finished October this year, so 11 months later and even since we have had issues for which we commissioned a freelancer to repair. In the end we have ended up with an OK website, but I don’t think it will win any awards, that’s for sure, have removed the website from their controlled server and waved goodbye to all the additional monies spent for services we never received.

The main issue is that they lie, they lie about being based in the UK, lie about their capabilities, even the reviews on their own websites are fake.

Things got that bad at one stage we actually thought it was a scam and started to make enquiries as to their legitimacy and this is where when we started to dig we found out a lot of information on the business.
LR mascaraed as a UK based business, with a UK Number and UK Address, this was one of the main reasons we chose them, easy; same language communication, same time Zone and UK codes of practice designed to protect consumers, oh how wrong we were! The telephone number is provided by a company who specialize in call forwarding, the office is a virtual office. You are assigned a project Manager who’s grasp of the English language is extremely poor, when you call through to them its clear its some sort of call centre based in Asia somewhere as all you can here in the background are people shouting in Hindi. One of their own employees admitted this to me one day on the phone but begged me not to tell anyone as he may lose his job, so his name will remain nameless.

We have further proof of this as when you login to the project management system you can see that the internal communication is in Hindi. They seem also not to work UK business hours, we could very rarely get hold of anyone much before 11am UK time, however they seemed to be available until late in the evenings, leading us to believe that wherever they were based they were working USA eastern time working hours more than UK hours.

Our Credit card payments were made to a business based in New York state called IELTS and has no relevance to Logo Royale. They have many, many websites all offering the same service in the USA, Australia and the UK, I have a complete list of these companies should this be called into question.

In a nutshell this company mascaraed as a UK based business, with a UK telephone number and UK Address, don’t be fooled, they are not based in the UK, their first language is not English and you will struggle with the language barrier.
I did see a review expressing facts similar to this on TP website earlier this year, it was removed (assumed at the request of LR) under the guise it was racist! However the facts are; just because you hire a UK call forwarding number, the rights to a virtual office and give all your staff English names, does NOT make you a UK company, we also will be contacting trading standards to bring this to their attention.

I have factual evidence that will support the following facts:

Logo Royale is not a UK registered business, LR state they are subsidiary of Octagroup of Companies and they trade under a company known as Orbit Solutions Ltd, Orbit Solutions Ltd are in fact registered in the UK, and this business is registered to an Indian National. None of this information is confidential, it was given feely by LR and is available on the UK Company register, however you will not find any reference to LR on any company register in the UK.

We spent thousands and thousands of pounds and they will still try to rip you off, the straw that broke the camel’s back for me was when we were asked for a further GBP 2,500.00 to “copyright” the website, if we didn’t they couldn’t "guarantee the safety of the site"!! We obviously engaged a legal expert who stated don’t bother, oh yes and incidentally the only email acknowledgement we ever received for our monies paid actually included “lifetime copyright registration”, one of many things we paid for and never received.

At no stage have we been given any receipt for any of the services provided despite several requests however I have declared the costs involved with setting up the online business to HMRC, who will be asking me for recipes soon, so that should be interesting.

Finally we asked TP what their protocol was for “verifying” reviews as we were suspicious as to how LR had such a high score with many high reviews having little to no content and we were surprised to find out that not all reviews are verified, so nothing really to stop people making up their own reviews, either themselves or via friends. TP response verified this stating: "Trustpilot will verify a review when documentation is provided. This only applies where a company feels the reviewer has not had a service experience and reports the review after using Find Reviewer"

All the above information is correct and I have pages of documentary evidence to substantiate this.

A further warning, this company has many, many, different websites in the UK, just look for similarities in the wording on their websites if you want to avoid.

THEY WILL TAKE EVERYTHING THEY CAN FROM YOU. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE DELAYS AND WILL ROB YOU BLIND. DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!

Initially purchased a logo and took up website with the confirmation and long talks that it would cover everything I needed. Later upsold on content writing I had to correct and put into clear and readable English. Later saying I needed to upgrade website for my needs and what I wanted, bearing in mind I was sold a product at the beginning on the basis it was what I needed. Lots of chasing delay in website being done. They completed and closed my project without asking me if I was happy and then said they could not make amendments now it’s closed. Baring in mind I paid for payment system I never got. One week live the booking system still did not work and I had to find the problem myself and chase to fix it. THE FINAL STRAW WAS AN EMAIL LAST WEEK SAYING I NEEDED TO PURCHASE NEW TLS SECURITY OR MY WEBSITE WILL BE CLOSED DOWN. THREATENING AND HOLDING ME RANSOM TO MAKE MORE MONEY!!! My website has been live just 10 weeks. Also researched this as it should not apply as I don’t have a payment system on my site as they never did it.

I sent a full email and breakdown requesting to close my site as a I will not pay this and require full refund. I have referred them to trading standards and stated all on my issues, where they have misled me and not provided a professional and ethical service. I have given 14 days notice as per procedure to settle this or I will take them to small claims court.

The response I received from this was...word for word... this was it!!!.....from Alan White:

First of all the work for the website has been finished and done according to your needs . You can go ahead with you lawyer team we have complete prove of approval services . My legal team will also be taking care of this aswell

Their website and sales pitch is all a con. Stay well away!

Update: after a few months going via bank i was given my money back (£2500). After sharing all emails and screenshots of conversations.

Disappointing from the beginning

Disappointing from the beginning. Unfortunately, the classic huge sales pitch followed by under servicing and false promises. A site that was quoted 6 weeks to complete took the best part of 7 months. this project became a never-ending cycle of unmet deadlines and incomplete work.

The salesmen ensured the team were locally based in London...Lie! Beyond the consistent delays and poor work, the team built my site in a custom PHP platform and not in Wordpress as promised. I was only to find out later this was a strategy to tie me into using them indefinitely to make changes to the site. When I had to fight to get this changed to WordPress this delayed the project a further 5 weeks

Their logo service was average, the SEO and coding very messy and all round I would say no value for money.
