Avoid like the plague. Terrible service, inconsistent service, poor advice, poor communication, took twice as long as should have done, all about bill building here, then when you question it they believe they have the power to be above challenge - disgusting

Rang two weeks ago to seek advice/instruct on and ongoing breach of child arrangement order. Told someone would call me back when free. Never received a call.

In 2020 We contacted Joliffes to assist transferring leasehold property to Freehold. In contact with a partner for Joliffes (head of residential property), who provided a quote and appeared knowledgeable. Delays for 12 months due to covid we accept. In 2022 we are no further down the road, I have sent a number of emails and followed up with phone calls over this time. No communication or correspondents. Over 18 months later, having to start the process again with a firm who can communicate. I cannot comment on their service as they did not provide one.

I just sold my house and my buyer used Jolliffe & co LLP in Chester SADLY . I'll just say I got my offer on 15th June and I just got the funds and completed on 3rd Oct. Oh the buyer was cash purchase with no chains so you would expect a quick case Yes? Oh no 4 months . These so called law people are a disgrace to the law society and need to be investigated. They withhold information, do not reply to mails or phone calls . The Secretary I can only describe as rude and lucky I didn't pay her a visit in the office because I would have told her she's a nasty piece of work not just to me but to my estate agent and my solicitor. So I could go on for hours so ill break it down. Unprofessional uncaring incompetent rude ignorant blasè unruly disorganised and underhanded . Right from day 1 to completion across solicitors to paralegal to accounts . Unbelievable horrendous experience . I was given completion date 29th sept finally after threatening to pull out of sale, so arranged removals etc ..the completion didnt happen as they didnt have buyers funds ..told us at 5pm they were lost in bank and buyer was looking into it. Nobody was buying this. Monday 2nd oct we were of opinion it would happen but at 4pm were told again still no funds and we will let you know when we are in a position to complete, blasè. In meantime my entire house contents were in a removal truck in storage . Tues 3rd Oct removals return and my solicitor hadn't received funds still despite at 5pm day before being told Jolliffe had sent them. Finally they came 2hrs later. Completion was done . But I was out of pocket 400.00 for extra removal costs so it cost me double what i was quoted and went with the clothes on my back for 2 days all because they are uncaring incompetant and machavelian. I use all these words as my opinion and I do not recommend to use these for conveyancing ..i can't speak for other areas but I'm told by a close friend the litigation isn't great either !! I'll be reporting my case to law society regulations department as ive enquired already and im preparing all documentation. I just dont want anyone else to go through this. You have been warned !!!
