I have been hosting for 12 years now

I have been hosting for 12 years now, and I am happy with their service pricing, overall communication with the staff members, and they are very professional and have very good communication skills. Especially with Malvina Malousi, who deals with groups. They have a 24-hour line to contact them. Hailey recommended all of the people who want to host with them.

Having worked with Jessica over a number of years now and she always takes into account my availability and requests as a host. Jessica works in an efficient manner and always keeps me informed of my bookings and sends reminders when my students are due to arrive.

Horrible experience

Horrible experience. The location wasn't disclosed to me till I made the payment, and when I did and I wasn't happy with the location, they refused to change the place of my stay. The details said that the host ( Hina Janaid) has one son when in reality she had 2, one newborn whom the host said would wake up with the slightest noise so I had to maintain pin-drop silence at all times. The booking also said that the house was at a 2 minutes distance from the bus stand when in reality, it was 15 mins away. What's worse is that the host was extremely inhospitable and hostile. She was passive aggressive and would text me in the middle of the night telling me that I'd somehow woken up her son even though I was extremely careful to not make the slightest noise. It was suffocating to stay there and I made several requests to the company to assist me since staying there was mentally distressing for me but they refused to help.Upon my departure, she was extremely rude to me and told me off .I would NOT recommend using the services of this company, especially this particular host in Oxford.

Disappointing experience

I was referred by a friend to use this homestay provider and honestly my experience has been so disappointing as a host.
Upon sign up, I was provided with incorrect information. Whenever you attempt to contact the service either by phone or email you never get a reply and have to keep chasing to get a response. The staff answering the phone are not professional at all and often sound like they can’t be bothered to take on your enquiry. They will tell you they will call you back before rushing you off the phone and never call back. Most recently I was booked to have a student that didn’t show up. I prepared for the student, adjusting my personal plans, buying additional shopping etc and received a text message from the student on the day of arrival stating she would no longer be coming. I sent an email to the person that had placed the booking and then called the next day when I had no response. I was told she was off sick, another excuse I’m often provided with when there is a lack of response. Malvina stated she would speak to her manager and call me back and guess what she did not. The next day, I called again and was told they were unaware this has happened and would look into it. There was no attempts to rectify the issue, place another student, nothing. Four days later I was called and told the student had attempted to come to my accommodation but was uncomfortable with the area so left which was completely untrue because the student had in fact notified me she was going to another accommodation that she had arranged before she had even landed in the UK. What they offered was a £50 cancellation fee for the the two weeks of missed income. I have no trust or faith in this service and will not be quick to book with them again. It’s a real shame because the students I have met and hosted have been so lovely and it was a great joy to host them
