Huge wait to get car in. Ridiculous prices quoted for repairs. Phone call messages unreturned. Spent £5,000 on repairs they said were needed due to car not starting only to discover same thing happened again this time due to another issue so they said! Another £800 to replace an auxiliary battery and diagnose this. Battery going flat again- fault in key! Needs new keys: £2,300!! Using other key same problem . AI seems to have fixed the problem by suggesting replacing key batteries!
Ignored by staff
Called at Shrewsbury branch waited in showroom staff saw me but was ignored totally.will not return
The sales lady was wonderful
The sales lady was wonderful, purchased a £155 OCTA noticed a dent in the exhaust pipe they said it was designed to be like it. The sales director was to busy to take my call as he was playing golf. Took it to the OCTA team in Coventry they agreed that it was not designed to have dent in the pipe. Rejected the car found another OCTA same dealership Hatfields did the deal but Craig Petty has banned me from buying Land Rovers at Hatfield dealerships. I'm quite pleased about because the service was shocking
Customer Service and Warranty
Staff: are nice and pleasant but are only concerned about their customer feedback survey and not the actual client outcome. It's like dealing with a Bank, computer says no, but bye the way, can you give me a 10/10 on the survey...please?!?!
Warranty: my Disco is 73 plate, done 15k miles. The electronic boot alignment is out, and the boot bangs when going over a bump. Hatfields and Land Rover refuse to cover this under warranty as they say its 'normal wear and tear'!!! They recommend I take it to a body repair shop as it is something their 'technicians' are not capable of fixing!!! An absolute joke. How an earth can this NOT be a warranty issue.
They do not care for their customers at all, just want the initial sale and then you are screwed! A real shame as I like the range of vehicles, but with this experience would never go back to Hatfields nor LandRover. Speaking to LandRover for feedback, one of the things they look at is "loyalty to the brand". How insulting is this, my loyalty is I decided to buy one. With this experience I will never buy another.
Excellent customer service
This was my first service for my Discovery Metropolitan. From booking my car in for the service to collecting the car on completion the staff kept my informed of the progress. My service advisor, Natalie, was superb. She was extremely helpful, courteous, knowledgeable about the service and an absolute delight to deal with during the servicing process.
Natalie was a great help in explaining the service plan. Consequently I was able to understand what this involved and therefore able to purchase a plan with confidence. I would certainly recommend Hatfields without hesitation.
A big thank you and well done to Natalie. Absolutely great customer service.
A big thank you to Hatfields Land Rover Shrewsbury well done.
Given px quote online then when…
Given px quote online then when traveled down to Liverpool branch given a ridiculous low figure and attempted to sell 2 grands worth of insurance ….I am now looking for a completely different car…..absolute waste of time ….allso they offer a 2 year warranty deal….but u must borrow 15k and get ripped on interest aswell….shameful company .
Rude staff biggest loss on a vehicle ever Thieves Lane suits here
Rude staff, ADAM. Had to chase several times, nobody phoned me back over a 3 week period with an appraisal of an Evoque that I bought several months ago from them. Finally finding out I,d lost £12,000k on my Audi part exchange after the PCP payments aswell, they offered me £1,400 back and their car had lost £7,500 in several months. ADAM blamed it on Covid which was 6 years ago and said he didn,t have A CRYSTAL BALL on me asking how the PCP works ending early! I regret this purchase more than any other car I,d ever bought in 56years. Biggest loss. Worst Customer Service in 135 cars Id bought. No Salesman had ever said he didn,t have a CRYSTAL BALL. How UNPROFESSIONAL and RUDE. Apparently other people I speak to have had negative experience.
Such poor service from a premium brand…
Such poor service from a premium brand car supplier, if they find chargeable work, they can always find a technician to carry that out, however should you ask them to look at a warranty issue? You need to book your car in which could take numerous weeks!
Based on the after-care service of Hatfields, would I buy a car from them,The straightforward answer is no!!
Excellent service by Lauren
From breakdown, with a threat of fire, to driving away, repaired in just 19 days is fantastic. I was kept up to date by Lauren and even better she managed to get 15% off despite being out of warranty. Great service, thank you to all.
This company is unbelievable…
This company is unbelievable…. Upon buying a car you’re sold this amazing vehicle with all singing all dancing treatment. The minute it goes wrong you’re told it’s 9 weeks to get your car in to be fixed…. Even if it’s unusable you’re expected to wait that amount of time with no offer of courtesy car or anything. I can’t believe a company of this size has such poor customer service. I will never use Hatfield’s in Shrewsbury to buy any cars in the future. This is the 4th fault and each and every time the wait time has been huge. Looks like lots of other customers think the same too.
The star was for letting me know my car…
The star was for letting me know my car wouldn’t be attended to. I received a communication from Jaguar Land Rover advising me that a recall for a steering bolt would necessitate me contacting a reputable dealer to have it changed. With holiday time booked I arranged on July 1st to have my steering bolt replaced on July 29th. Imagine my response when a telephone message advised me that Hadfields were no longer able to honour the arrangement!
I called the service department for an explanation and was told that the job cards were full and as I wasn’t a customer that I would not be able to even ask for a postponed booking. It’s unlikely that I will ever be a customer with an attitude like that to new customers. Incidentally my husband is a customer so Hadfields has lost two customers.
Today I received a recall notice for…
Today I received a recall notice for my Range Rover Evoque from Jaguar Land Rover It seems there is a problem with motor bolt corrosion on the electric power assisted steering. It asked me to contact a Land Rover dealer WITHOUT delay. Hatfields is my nearest dealer I was told that because I have not used them before they would not be able to book me in Although they are a representative of Land Rover and the letter states that this is being carried out under the terms of the code of practice on vehicle safety defects and recalls Shame on you do not think I will not take this further I bet you would have fitted me in if I wanted to buy a new car!
Totally ripped off paid 77k for a car…
Totally ripped off paid 77k for a car that has blown up 10 moth old they have tried everything to get out of the warranty I have proved all of them wrong and they have tampered with my car the Managing director accidentally sent me an email last night and provided me with the evidence showing they have tampered with my car to get away with warrenity then used the were the big guys hear well guess what I'm not going away
First of all I love my car but it will…
First of all I love my car but it will probably be my last Jaguar product because dealing the servicing department is like pulling teeth. I had email stating my car was due an oil and filter change at a cost of £189 so I looked around online and discovered Jardine Jaguar in Wolverhampton offer the same service for £149...I did an online chat with Hatfields expecting them to confirm the price would be £189 or even price match £149 considering I'd be a returning customer...but no they instead said an oil and filter change would be £399...I had the same thing last year when booking a service, they quoted the highest possible price only to lower the price when I questioned the discount they apparently offer for cars that are a few years old.
Unfortunately it's just another example of a greedy dealer that doesn't care about repeat custom so see ya later Jaguar.
Not great. Polite but poor service for poor cars
Friendly people on the face of it that doesn’t come across as genuine, but poor service on the whole Multiple visits and you have to wait weeks and weeks for an appointment. Issues still not resolved in 2 visits over 3 months and then to the back of the queue again for 7 weeks to look at the same issue the wasn’t resolved in the first 2 visits.
Also had a dispute over some minor damage on the vehicle which was not satisfactorily resolved
Having to wait months for an appointment tells you everything you need to know about the quality of the cars!
Bought an Evoke back in August 2023
Bought an Evoke back in August 2023. 14,000 on the clock, had nothing but trouble since. Many attempts made to make contact but nobody has got back to me. Aftercare VERY shoddy. Will not be back
Brilliant Dealership…..
Bought our RangeRover Evoque from this dealership six years ago. Always professional, polite and excellent service no matter what the reason for our visit, and whoever we spoke to.
This time it was just for Blue additive. Mike, who met us as we arrived, was as attentive and courteous as usual, and we enjoyed coffee and mince pies in the customer area while we waited. Every member of staff acknowledged us, and within 15 minutes Mike was back with the keys. He said there was no rush, and we enjoyed more coffee and a browse round the extensive showroom stock before we left. Always enjoy the experience here. Very highly recommended!
Just rubbish
Just rubbish. 4 weeks and 4 salesman later and still no closer to buying a car.
Not great from a main dealer
Bought a used car and initially super helpful and promising the world, replying to emails late at night and then as soon as you bought a car and there is a problem they do not get back to you.
