Had the 48v 360mm cordless mower for 3 years. Reliable. Becoming unuseable because the handle height is unajustable. Now very painful stooping to operater/push it. I am 5’ 10” it is built for Tyrion L... See more

Warranty nightmare on lawn mowers
Just try getting anything done under warranty. Absolute nightmare, facilities to collect mean that you have to be able to take the machine to pieces, box it in your OWN box, before they will even take it away. Buy something from B&Q.
Battery size 80V cannot be used on other 80V products...ie. snowblower and lawn mower.
i have greenworks lawnmower, blower, edge trimmer and snow blower(2 stage $$). They say that their batteries are compatible across the products...even though i have 80v batteries...they are different sizes and I will not be able to use them on my snow blower and on my lawnmower. False advertising. I wish I had not bought their snowblower and will not be recommending them. They use different battery sizes for the same 80V type.
Customer be aware about mis leading advertising and return policy
Customer be aware of Greenworks misleading advertising and return policies.
I've recently had a very bad experience with Greenworks with a blower that was advertise as low noise even reinforcing the wording featuring mis leading pictures. The reality of the product was that you even need ear plugs to operate that model.
Now, the worst part that can happen to anyone with any product is that if you try the product, they won't allow you to return it. If it's renewed, even if you don't use it.
How are you going to know the product is so loud to the point of needing ear plugs, if the description of the site says low noise, and you cannot even try it?
Customer service only offers an apology for the misleading advertising, but don't allow returns.
I am currently for 6 months in warranty…
I am currently for 6 months in warranty with my items, I did call several times and they just excuse themselves. What is the use of having a 10 years warranty on batteries if they cannot even replace them in time. The chargers are damaged by not using them at all, swear I replaced my charger and it arrived in one month, then I didn't use it for 1 month and I needed it after and and guess what, it was no longer good, it was good when it arrived... I replaced my charger 3 times, batteries is the third time also, just the chainsaw is still intact cus I DID NOT use it excessively ... Worst customer support, worst warranty, worst service.... The product is good only if it works, make some prayers and hope ot wont let you down ...

I am from Europe, we have Cramer here, but I could not find them on the platform, however, I researched before buying the products and is just that Cramer sells in Europe and Greenworks in America. When I purchased the items, got at that point 10 years warranty for batteries, now they make it 5, but still they do not help me with the warranty. I cannot contact anyone from Cramer personally, just 3 party entities every time. I send already an email to get the money back and return the products, since I cannot use it for over 6 months, and at this point all I have is just the chainsaw, the rest of the items are in warranty for months. The local seller that I bought the full packet (batteries, charger, electric saw) do not even reply to my email, so I will have to send a physical letter with the request of giving the money back, and if not replay within 15 days after I send the letter, I can finally act in court. Thank you for replay on my message, and if there is any possibility to write this review on Cramer, I will do it there and delete this one.

batteries are extremely difficult to install and remove
The batteries are extremely hard to install and remove. The company told me that it is just the design (it's a poor design)
the customer service rep. hung up on me as I asked to speak to a manager.
unless you want to wrestle with theses batteries i suggest that
DO NOT BUY ANY OF THESE PRODUCTS

i placed the order on Friday and I understand it’s only been 2 days, but I haven’t reviewed any updates on my order which is a red flag to me because I order online all the time so I called and they said it takes at least 10 days to receive an update on my order. I think that’s unacceptable and no where on the website does it say it takes that long. I requested a cancellation and he said they cannot do that, I only have 30 minutes. So I have to accept the package and return it to get my money back smh I will be disputing this transaction with my bank. Very unprofessional and does not care about their customers.
delivery and customer service is poor
delivery and customer service is poor. I ordered a battery operated lawnmower that included 2x24v batteries and the charger. Zero communication about delivery for ten days then the lawnmower arrived but was bare, no batteries or charger. I filled in the contact us form on the website as I called the number in Germany to be told she couldn't help and I had to fill in the form. About 5 hours later battery and charger turned up.
Concern about a failed delivery and a lack of confidence generally was entirely caused by the dire communication from the company. Lawnmower seems good on first view but the company is not helping itself at all by very poor communication with customers and the lack of a UK phone number.
They don't honor their warranty. Do not buy.
Bought a 2.0ah 60v battery in 2022 on Amazon. They have a 4 year warranty. Battery just went bad. I called them and they informed me that I hadn't bought the battery from an approved seller on Amazon. What??? They would not honor the warranty. Went up the chain to a supervisor. No dice. I have a large 2-battery 25 inch mower as well as a chainsaw, hedge trimmer, weedwacker and leaf blower. I will never never never buy another tool from them. Or battery!

Ordered a 48v strimmer from their website - Just like others - got an order confirmation email then nothing for over a week. Opened a "case" but no reply to that either!
My order is Order UK13757
PLEASE EITHER REFUND ME NOW or send me my order in the next few days otherwise I will start a section 75 refund as I paid with a credit card. I have email proof I have tried to contact you with NO RESPONSE .
I have amended my review
I have amended my review from 1 to 4. I like greenworks tools, however your customer services is appalling. 1. You need to get rid of that Contact form on your website and have a telephone number and live chat that people can contact you on. I had to find the Facebook page that I could message your company on. They were fantastic and I take my hat off to them. However when i finally found out who the currier was I contacted then myself only to find that they had never received the item so it had never left your warehouse. I have no idea why you told me it might take 28 days to investigate the missing item when it took me 20 minutesto find out what happened. At least once I emailed the replies I received from the currier, you quickly emailed me and despatched another item that I have now received. You def need to overhaul your customer services. They seem to be your main problem, and the reason you have so many complaints. The items themselves are excellent, it's a pity the way people can contact you is truly dreadful.

Bad charger and battery design. I have greenworks strimmer and…
I have Green Works strimmer and chainsaw. The machinery is ok at the moment, but the batteries and charger in my opinion is very poor design. To attach and unattach the battery from the charger is not easy; there's a lot of force to push and pull it in or out to connect or disconnect. After about 2 years, of normal use I'm facing having to replace the expensive batteries and charger and for what? Another crap design and performance charger and batteries.

Ordered a Greenwork 24v Hedge Trimmer…
Ordered a Greenwork 24v Hedge Trimmer 56cm Gen 2.Had confirmation of order 13594 on Monday 1st September 25.It has now been 10 days since order with no correspondence from Greenworks. So contacted by email to find out where my order was and i got a case No02147312. Still no one has contacted me about my order.I would understand if Greenworks had sent a message to say there's a delay getting the item in.At Least i would know why i haven't got the item yet. It's unfortunate that i have ordered several items from Greenworks but puts you off trusting them again. There is no contact number to call so you can't even talk to an advisor.Ive spoke to the my payment method and if Greenworks doesn't get in touch in the next couple of days i will put a complaint to my bank and ask them to get my money back.
Regards Alex

Greenworks tools waste of money and time
I bought a Greenworks pressure washer from Lowes and it stopped working after a short time. When I called about the warranty, the representative at Greenworks had me run through a bunch of tests, which I did, but then he asked for my home address. When I refused to give it, he got rude and hung up on me.
This is unacceptable. Not only did the product fail way too soon, but the warranty support was rude, unprofessional, and completely unhelpful. I will never buy from Greenworks again, and I wouldn’t recommend their products to anyone.
Avoid at all costs
Had greenworks tolls for ages, spent thousands of pounds on mower, strimmer, trimmer, blower, 5 x 5ah batteries, 2 chargers, pruner, you name it. Possibly the worst customer service you can ever experience, no reply to emails, no phone, no reply on anything. Considering the tools are not even that cheap you would’ve assume their support was good, never again.
I am now swapping all my tools for either EGO or the more UK rooted STIHL.
Update 04/09/2025

Leaking Backpack Sprayer
Backpack Sprayer had leak within warranty period. Greenworks agreed to replace the sprayer. The replacement sprayer leaked in the exact same location as the original defective one. Highly likely a recurring problem with which they would be familiar. Contacting the company cannot be done thru an email link, only phone (or useless chatbot). Hold times for phone service are extensive, 43 minutes for my 2nd contact with GW. Customer service reps are helpful once reached and company does replace defective product.

Less then one star if I could bought weed eaters and 2 lawnmowers lawnmower stopped working and now I can’t get customer service on the phone and I paid for the extra warranty for four years and they refuse to warranty after 1 year this is a scam website don’t buy from them products don’t last a year and when you start inquiry about warranty all your tools history disappear and cannot be rewarded glad I went through shop so I still have proof of purchase but it doesn’t matter cause you can reach them through chat, email, or phone

Greenworkstool is a bad company to purchase from and customer service is not good, they are rushing to ship items given customer 30 minutes to cancel and customer service can’t even provide any assistance
Greenworks is an untrustworthy company
Greenworks is an untrustworthy company. They engage in bait and switch tactics with fictional promotion deals to get you to click on their site. Looking at other reviewers, people have had an extremely difficult time trying to have their warranties honored. Reaching a customer service rep is fruitless, a waste of time. They are owned by a large Chinese conglomerate with an American subsidiary based in North Carolina There is absolutely no way to contact anyone in a position of responsibility. Avoid if you can and buy from a company that respects their customers.

Yet again GreenNowerks continues to be upsetting in its products, latest being a replacement Strimmer Head. Nut in Head disappeared when trying to screw into Strimmer rendering it useless.
Well done Greenwerks!!!!!
Lucky I ordered a generic one too or No customers fraction of PRICE.
Looks and feel great
Looks and feel great. But the weed Wacker design is trash. Takes a long time just trying to replace the wire. Fix it designers and stop wasting the time of the workers
