Ridiculous customer service!
For some reason my card stopped working on ATMs.
1. For about 2-3 weeks this has been an ongoing issue and I can’t withdraw cash money.
2. I went to the bank and they told me that maybe the issue was caused by my card and I needed to have a new card, for which the waiting period is 4 business days - during those four days you cannot pay at Pos terminal or withdraw cash.
3. I could not make payments for four days but once the card was ready I went to the bank, got my new card, deactivated the old one, HOWEVER, the new card could NOT be used at ATMs TOO.
4. I returned to the bank - they told me they couldn’t do anything.
5. I called the call centre - again, useless- they could not fix the issue since they did not know what was it.
6. Today I called the bank to request a 3D Nr for online payments, the least, as this could not be done online /neither from DSK mobile, nor from DSK Direct, even though the lady from the bank PROMISED it could be done from the app or website/.
7. The woman over the phone assisted with the Nr for online payments and once I asked her if there’s an update about my ongoing issue with the ATM case /ridiculous!!!/ she told me she has a response from the relevant team - which no one called to inform me about, even though promised numerous times.
The ‘relevant team’ informed her that maybe I had an issue with the card :-) Dejavu?! To which I responded the card is brand new and I’ve had it for 3 days. Then I asked if I need to go to bank every 4 days and get a new card each time ? /which based on her words was the case/.
8. Long story short, a new card is needed even though the ‘old one’ is 3 days old. Still, even after I take the new card it’s NOT promised that I’ll be able to use the ATM. To which the lady said ‘well at least you can pay on pos terminals’.
9. Currently I am waiting for that second new card - another 4 business days without being able to buy , pay anything or use ATM. The woman from the call centre GUARANTEED that from DSK mobile I will be able to digitalise the not-yet-ready card so I could move it to Apply wallet and at least be able to make online payments. Guess what. This was not happening- she told me to wait 20minutes - It has been 2hrs now and still their brand new app is NOT WORKING, just showing ongoing error.
Can you imagine?! Ridiculous service, absurd customer support, the new application is very slow and showing different errors every few hours. Avoid this bank!

Poor services, Bank living 20 years behind technology, poor client management
I have been a client to this bank for 24 years. Since 14 years old.
I would like to share my recent 2 weeks experience with the bank:
1. My bank card expired and I ordered a new one
2. I wanted to change my online password
3. It is not possible to do it online as you have to have an active bank card (which I do not have as I ordered a replacement)
4. I called support and they explained that it is not possible to change the password except using Eurotrust app signature for which you have to pay after reaching 3 signatures...otherwise I need to go to the bank in person
5. I went to the bank to collect my card
6. Changed my password with the card
7. Wanted to install DKS mobile app, however the service requires sending a text message to your phone which is fine.
8. I have never received a text message, after at least 5 attempts
9. Called support and guess what - they explained, that to be able to activate myself to use the mobile app (which I have used before) i need to go to the bank, if I do not receive text messages or to sign again online certificate.
10. I tought - maybe I can change my phone number as the number I am using is foreign (not that it was any problem through the years).
11. DSK support explained that to change the phone number I would have to go to the bank as phone number and e-mail change cannot be done online
12. The customer support agent explained all this is for security purposes...strange as in any other bank you can do all these functions online...imagine millions of people having to go to banks or paying subscriptions for e-signature devices, if they need to change their basic contact information...
13. I have asked the agent "I have completed all security checks with you just now - can you change my phone number? He replied "we do not have such permissions".
14. DSK is charging you BGN 3 per month for "service" - as an example no EUROPEAN bank is charging you money. They make money out of your money (which is the banking purpose after all).
15. DSK is charging you also for withdraws from cash machines, transfers etc - something which in other countries is a free service.
For the record few friends sent me text messages which I have received...strangely enough I do not receive messages only from DSK bank...not even in the SPAM folder...
The bank is immature towards digital technology, cyber security and is bureaucratically heavy.
To have to go to a BANK IN PERSON to change your phone, password or e-mail is demonstrating really poor management, lack of digitisation, IT strategy and generally common sense...
Just avoid!

I am impressed by his kindness and the efficiency with which he resolves every issue. I feel calm and confident knowing I can rely on him.

I wanted to add my apple pay and i couldn't for four months because of a bug. Until I called them a few times and magically appeared on my phone.
Sorry excuse of a bank
If the online banking is working, make a wish, because you just witnessed a miracle. Excluding the slow service, the apps and the websites that almost never seem to work and putting aside how poorly everything is designed and coded, yesterday I tried sending 2K to my mother using "blink", when I authorized the transaction I got an error saying that the transaction is failed and to try again later, ok, no biggie, pretty typical for DSK, so I sent it a second time. When I checked the transactions BOTH of them were sent! Just wondering, if I was sending money to someone else and not my mother, would he be so kind to return the extra 2K that I just gave him? TRIPLE CHECK EVERYTHING WITH THIS SORRY EXCUSE OF A BANK!

Went to a branch and asked for a simple phone number and email update associated with my account. Five days and three visits to the branch later, still can’t bank online (phone not updated) and the new email was misspelled and entered incorrectly. The “specialists” working in the branches exude the aura of being too good for the jobs they have. And yes, they have business cards on display in front of them but don’t respond to calls or emails. Supreme arrogance on top of pathetic incompetence. How does this bank survive?!
If you have an account with them
If you have an account with them, I would advise you to close it immediately. It is not possible for you to withdraw your own money or to make transfers in a normal matter. Online banking system doesn’t function properly. Every night between 00:00-03:00 o’clock you cannot make a transfer or even check or OWN balance via the online banking app. Attitude towards clients is unprofessional and rude. ATM’s don’t have option to deposit money. It is absolutely unacceptable to try to deposit money in 10 ATM’s in the capital with zero result. Honestly, I genuinely do not care how many times I’m gonna hear “sorry” from them, problems are not solved in a timely manner or at all, the only resolution I see is changing the bank. I would advise you the same.

Very bad service , I was outside country and called different time call center.. very unprofessional people , they tell us call again for answer and nothing .. I need get urgent transfer by my account , but not working app and not working browser .. so not possible transfer my money for solve urgent problem..

Uneducated employees
Uneducated employees. Awful service. Asking for random documents that are not actually required for your operation. Foreigners - beware of shi**y service. You will be asked to bring your blood tests and what not, for a simplest operation

I am more than 10 years with this bank. They let me 2 weeks without electronic payments during a lockdown. The only service that I received was "We'll call you when we fix the problem" and they never did. Of course they fixed it for like 5 min when I met them face to face.
