Without ANY warning, Wamo closed my account. The Compliance team made a decission - that i can not get any information about. And they just left me hanging to dry. Bizarre way to do business.

We were looking for a bank that could issue a danish IBAN number (and thus danish bank account), since a large portion of our customers are based out of Denmark.
We found wamo.io and the onboarding was a breeze, it was fairly quick and everything has gone smoothly.
It was a super nice touch by Zoe to give a call and simply tell that we've been onboarded, and if we had any additional questions, and if so, she'd always be available!
It's nice with some proper customer service these days, and the platform works really nicely, so zero complaints from me.

It was great and very detailed. The problem is the verification. We have uploaded every document however we were asked to upload documents again, including selfies. It would have been great to sort it as we couldn't and the account is still pending.

Absolutely awful experience with Wamo. I am the director of Upload For Software Ltd. On 06/08/2025 my account was frozen following a recall for £310. I explicitly asked them to refund the money and close the account, yet they kept refusing to resolve the matter and continued to deduct £50 monthly subscription fees even though the account is frozen and unusable.
Their responses have been nothing but bland “we’ll look into it” messages with no timeline, no resolution, and no accountability. They have cost me money and time and left my business exposed.
WARNING to any business owner: avoid Wamo until they fix their dispute handling and refund policies. This company is unprofessional, unreliable, and unsafe to hold business funds with.
