difficult to correct a typo

it was quite a simple job , 1 driving licence, 1 passport, 1 certificate of residence .

It was very costly to correct a simple typo mistake .
final documents and certificates were very good.

Honestly

Honestly I got my docs back with errors. Typo errors and this is a waste of time. Maybe you should have a separate QC before it's returned.

Two projects with major problems

We had two projects with Universal Translation Services - basically two times the same drivers license with different personal data. The drivers license itself has around 15 words and is openly available as translation online.
Therefore the translation effort was close to zero.
The first project was delivered way over the promised 24 hours. Moreover they mistranslated some single letters AND forgot two of the 15 words which I then had to translate on my own.

The second translation as a separate project was also delivered with delay. Moreover all of a sudden the price doubled - this time the readily translated document, which only needed another signature, counted as two pages. Chatting with the customer support wasn’t helpful at all as they didn’t care. We had to pay as time was ticking, knowing they are way slower than they promised.

So summarized:
No translation in time, pricing varies and quality needs your own translation for the simplest thing. Only good thing was that it was accepted.

Is Universal Translation Services an Indian scam corporation?

Sunday, March 23, 2025 5:06 AM (CET), I received an email from Universal Translation Services with a link to the "client account". I have regularly checked the progress of project S-248046 (no. AQ-248046). Until today, project S-248046 (no. AQ-248046) had the status "Translator Finished" in my "client account". Since today, the project has the status "Review Client."

Today, on March 28, 2025 11:15 (CET), you sent the tenth email about project S-248046 (no. AQ-248046). In contrast to the information in the client account, the email stated that the project has the status "Translator Working".

According to your own statement, the estimated delivery date was March 23, 2025 21:59 (EST). It has been five days now and I have not received a translation yet.

My impression is that you have not worked on the translation yet and that no translator has been assigned yet.

FOR THAT REASON

I request that you inform me in detail what you have done so far for project S-248046 (no. AQ-248046). Furthermore, I urge you to set a new delivery date.

This company is a scam

This company is a scam. I did a translation job for them and I have not been paid at all despite multiple attempts to contact PM and the payment department. Watch out.
