Our Equity agreement was thorough, adhered to , and closed out in a mutually acceptable manor! Would I recommend? Absolutely!

Funding Process Review

Although my process took a bit longer than normal to receive the funds. I do have to "Thank" Mary Kate for helping me understand and get through the entire process. Mary Kate communicated frequently to keep me updated and aware of the processes. She was very professional and knowledgeable of the processes.

Without blasting this company with the…

Without blasting this company with the worse reviews possible over social media all I'll say is run, run far and fast as you can from this company. I actually will say a few things. First their customer service is a joke after being assigned a rep and a senior manager at that I had sent over 60 e-mail to him over a 3month period of time asking, pleading and eventually begging for a phone call from them and over that period of time I had never received a single phone call not one. Second I turned in all the required documents that were asked for only to have them ask for them again and again by this time I had so started working with H_____P they had me done and funded in 5wks. Unison is still asking for documentation again. People if you ever listen to what reviews say believe this one run and don't look back .

I can assure you that it is the standard practice for our team to work timely with our homeowners and provide realistic expectations about time-frames at the beginning of the process; certainly, never receiving a call-back is not at all usual. In some circumstances, we sometimes need to request additional documents, which can cause a delay--however, I'm not sure whether that was the case here. Unfortunately, you did not respond to our request for more information about your specific experience. We do acknowledge that our equity sharing agreements are not a perfect fit for everyone, but we are committed to trying our best to help those we can, and ultimately have many satisfied customers.

Smooth, Straightforward Process

Equity sharing with Unison allows us the ability to renovate our kitchen and primary bathroom. It's a great solution for those who don't want a monthly payment but it needs to be a good fit based on your circumstances. I thought the process went very smoothly and our Unison Account Executive kept us informed every step of the way. I'm confident that it was the best decision for us.

Very positive experience

I praise Unison for how pleasant the staff interaction was during my whole process from application to receiving the funds. The process was explained thoroughly and I was allowed the time to read and reread the agreement. I give Unison a “thumbs up” for sure…..

"Be patient"

The process was a bit longer than I thought. But it was worth the wait. Brandon was in constant communication. I should of taken more money out, but took what I needed.

The Service Coordinator we worked with…

The Service Coordinator we worked with - Mary Kate Watson was awesome! She was always available to answer questions and when I had issues downloading documents, she would allow me to send them to her directly. She made the process very easy. The only negative thing we experience was the funding. It took longer than normal to get are proceeds. We got approved right in the middle of the debt ceiling limit debate and I am sure investors were worried about letting go of money just in case the debt ceiling wasn't raised. Shortly after it was announced that the debt ceiling was going to be raised, we received our funds. Moving forward, I just believe that once someone is approved, that money needs to be readily available. Outside of that, I have nothing bad to say about our experience.

Stay away!!

If I could give a - negative score I would.. it’s real simple.. if you want to keep yourself out of quicksand then stay away from Unison .. for a small investment on their part, you’ll soon loose all your equity… they make it almost impossible to refinance or buy them out.. as they increasingly pillage all your equity. Do your homework and you’ll see..

We do want to reiterate that Unison performs a thorough informative review with all our customers throughout the application process and provides all customers with written materials previous to signing the contract (such as the Program Guide). When an offer letter is presented to an applicant, all contractual policies are disclosed, including any fees, the original appraised value of your property, the investor percentage, and the amount that will be funded to you. Unison also encourages everyone to present the detailed terms to their financial or legal advisors for input. Its Real

At First, I was very nervous and skeptical about this kind of agreement. I had never heard of such a program. I asked a few people and my mother-in-law and no one knew what I was talking about. Why would a company want to invest in my home, In the small town we live in? Well as the days went by and the information was asked and given, I felt more and more at ease. My Program representative Colleen always kept in contact and whenever I had a question she was there to answer. Since receiving our funds, we have been able to upgrade the Redwood Fence around the entire perimeter of our house, pour an area of concrete to make our back yard cleaner and more presentable plus now we can say our home has RV parking. We have 42 windows and two doors ordered to be replaced for the outside shortly. We are also going to look into a small master bath remodel, carpet upgrades and kitchen floor upgrade. We are so happy and as these things get done, we are so happy and are having a bit of fun doing it.
Thanks again to our Unison Team, we couldn't have done these upgrades to our home without you.

Great Experience
