Battery Returns

I ordered a defib battery from them, as previous reviews thinking it was a UK company but they actually dispatch from Hong Kong.
The battery arrived after 3 weeks and was found to have no charge in it . It was a 12CR14505 12volt 4500mAH, which is basically 12no. AA batteries linked together. I contacted them and was asked to return it to an address in China. I duly took the package to the Post Office to send and found out that it is illegal to send lithium batteries in the UK, unless they are within their intended appliance. I have since contacted the company and no response, prior to this emails were answered quickly.
If you order from here and try to return, you enter an illegal situation which they are not aware of. I have since accepted that I have lost £63 on this transaction. Funnily enough it is ok for them to send lithium batteries in to the UK.
The moral is pay more and order from a UK company.

I ordered a so called 5800amh battery…

I ordered a so called 5800amh battery for £19.00.When the package arrived over 2 weeks later, there were 2 X 2980amh batteries inside.I requested a return and full refund.I heard nothing,so I started a claim through Paypal.I was then contacted via email and aske dto return the 2 batteries to an address in Isle of Wight, which I duly did at a cost of £5.99 signed for.Suddenly, I was given a refund of £13.00.no explanation as to why this scam company deducted £6.00 from the refund.I emailed the company and asked why I was not given a full refund of the purchase price, plus the £5.99 postage cost.......I will update as and when I get a reply.I have given them 7 days to refund the remaining amount.

It's not a UK based company

The website gives the distinct impression that this is a UK company (What else would you think when the URL is UK-online.co.uk?). It isn't. It's based in Hong Kong and ships from there. As a result if you order from them, whatever you want will take weeks to arrive. The website claims 'All orders placed for Standard Shipping on all stock items will be shipped within 1 - 2 business days.' Almost 2 weeks after ordering a battery I asked if it had been shipped. I was given a tracking number that showed that the battery was still waiting to be picked up by the carrier. 3 days later it was still waiting to be picked up. I tried to cancel the order but they weren't interested. Nothing seemed to happen until I threatened to request a chargeback from my credit card company if the battery didn't appear within 7 days. It was delivered just within my deadline. The company claims that the fact they ship from HK is made clear on a webpage. If you're thinking of buying from them, make sure you click the link reading 'Shipping' right at the top of the page.
