Do not buy their beer tasting…

Do not buy their Mikkeller beer tasting experience (through this ironically named company, truestory). They will sell you as many tickets as you like, but there are no beer tasting experiences. Just an email that says you are on a waiting list with no indication when there will be an available date.

I’m sorry if it has not been possible for you to schedule your experience within the period your gift card is valid. We are in regular contact with our hosts about new dates for their experiences.

Some experiences unfortunately have fewer dates throughout the year for various reasons—even though we would love to offer experiences every day. It is correct that, in the case of an empty calendar, we offer the option to join a waiting list. You will then receive automatic notifications the next time new dates are available. I can see that Mikkeller has so far held beer tastings 1-3 times a month this year.

A purchase is valid for 24 months, so we can sell gift cards for the experience even if there are not constantly available dates to book, though we naturally strive to provide this if possible.

If you do not wish to wait for new dates for your experience, you can either exchange it for another experience or request a refund.

Worst experience ever

Worst experience ever. Bought as a gift for a friend. You have to spend days to be able to make a simple booking at a restaurant. It is impossible to hear from them in days. Never buy anything from them. We bought this to make friend happy instead we all ended up being frustrated...

Based on your description here, I assume that you have purchased or received a giftcard for Madklubben. On our page, it is written, that we have up to 2 business days to send the payment code that you will use. Unfortunately, Madklubben cannot process our codes in their cash register system, and we have to handle these manually. This information is written on the page before making the purchase.
You can email us to receive the code and subsequently get a refund from Madklubben. I look forward to hearing from you.

Went to a Mikleller beer tasting, very friendly staff and super interesting along with great beer!

Idk if its a good idea for a foreigner…

Idk if its a good idea for a foreigner like me to be treated differently in this company. I ask for speaking in english so that I can ask for a refund of my ticket. And then i speak like lidt danish that asking if she can speak engelsk. And after that I clearly heard "No" and i response sorry just to make sure she will repeat again by saying No is somekind of british accent and then she disconnected the call. Im also a customer service before its not totally right to do that to your customers. Hoping this company employees teach their customers to be professional of their respective roles 🙏🏼 and thank you to the other girl that I spoke with that clarified the issue

I dont think you can ask a question in just 3 seconds and hung up right away. If she ask me if she can hear me several times it take a minute to do that.
But its ok now Its just very dissappointing that you can defend your colleague when I called and instead applogizing at all I didnt hear anything when I call back :) Im still ok after all rikke that youre responding and apologize Its just maybe next time improved connection Im worried to the other customers if thats the case :)( Im in a place earlier that I can hear clearly hehe)

I am very sorry for this experience that you have had on your call. Your description here is not the view we have of the call - there was very poor connectivity and my colleague couldn't hear you. She asked several times if you could hear her. We do not treat customers who speak English differently than others.
We speak English if you want and we just want to help.

Can't recommend

Can't recommend, be really careful. I wanted to cancel an experience that would first take place in 6 month but the firm refused to refund the money. Only a few dates are offered for this experience why I could not find another suitable date. The customer service just reference the terms and conditions that are hidden in a long unclear text behind a link. Bla bla bla..would never book here again.
