+442035198118 - Do Not Use

Unfortunately I wish I had read these reviews before. Ricky Honour, what can I say. I've recently checked the name and address on the government website and the director there is a Richard but definitely not Honour. I have spoken with him several times including today to try and get a refund of nearly £500 paid last April 2023 for a replacement window that never happened. I have now searched the phone number +442035198118 and several companies appear with Glazier in front of it. Ricky Honour says he will contact the MD but he is usually on holiday in a different time zone to get my refund back!!!
Please avoid at all costs

They're a scam company

Horrendous. Horrendous horrendous horrendous.

My experience seems really in line with quite a few others here. I was quoted £156 for a callout. The plumber turned up 5 hours late and it was only because I chased up that I found out that he was going to be coming so late, they hadn't messaged at all letting me know.

Then, even worse. The plumber was useless. Looked at a whole bunch of things and said that there was nothing for him to do now but he would send through quotes for further work in the next few days. That was 4 weeks ago, I've never heard from them again. I've chased up via email multiple times and they've never replied now that they got their money.

DO NOT USE. I genuinely just feel like I've been scammed.

Appalling customer service

Sent four messages to Ricky asking to send through a quote and called the office twice but this was never sent through - seems I dodged a bullet given the reviews below.

Avoid this company like the plague! Lots of good glaziers out there who actually responded with decent reviews. Do your due-diligence.

Ricky

Ricky - a crook, no other way to describe him, the leak they were called to repair leaked as soon as the guy left and another leak that was ongoing right next to the first was never identified. Never gave my money back.
Another company called to deal with the same leak, that failed soon too and another called and charged a small fortune inventing the 'complexity of the job' (PM/247- also to be avoided!).
What is going on with the plumbing industry!?!

Fraudulent company

Fraudulent company. Sent deposit money for power flush, no-one ever turned up.
A month later still fighting to get a refund through small claims.

Liars and crooks

The problem is that they operate under several names (they just answer the phone with 'Hello?') so you can't check them on TrustPilot. Of course, they never provide an address. Look out for the number - 020 3519 0313 - then use someone else!

Postscript on 20/7/23. They've just demanded that more details be provided so that they can 'verify the complaint'. Of course, I don't have much 5 months after the review and 7 months after the bad experience so it's likely they will insist that TrustPilot delete the review as lacking evidence. Be aware! Keep records!

Avoid Avoid

I got a plumber to clear a blocked drain. I did something and the water started to flow better. He claimed nothing can be done as the drainage system is wrong because the pipe is horizontal and not slant enough for water to flow. Charged me £160.00 to say this.
Last week a plumber from another company removed the drainage pipe and cleared all sludge blocking the pipe and the water now flows freely.
Don't use this company. Just took money without doing a good job.

Absolutely awful

Absolutely awful! They came to repair windows in a rented property and was supposed to have a 12 month warranty. They did not do what they said they would. I have been chasing them for nearly 6 months. You get through on the phone, they say send an email and nobody responds despite multiple follow ups! Ricky Honour (if he's even real!) completes the experience with the worst customer service experience.

AVOID - scam

AVOID - SCAM company

they charged me before stepping into my flat for a heat issue and kept coming back. The plumber was looking online for help and kept calling his boss as he had no idea what to do. After 3 days they had charged +£700 to tell me I had to pay for a new boiler £2000 + labour .
Their call centre is used to this services, they know they can get away by taking payment to anybody without doing any work.

This company trade under 3 names and are a scam!! Stay away

This company trade under 3 names and they are a scam.

They took £90 from me before providing a quote& said they'd return it if quote in persom is more. The quote was more, so I didn't go ahead. I had to go through the bank to get back my money. This was summer 2021. 9months later, June 2022, they have taken another £90 from my account. I have been calling daily& they say the MD will get back to me. BIG TIME SCAMMERS AVOID AT ALL COSTS

The different names they trade under are; on their website (Townforce), email address (Pro Improve) and bank details (Central London Plumbing). BEWARE & AVOID

Avoid at all costs

There is a job advertised through total jobs, avoid applying for this job.
They have several company names that they trade under, when the handymen live near a particular area. They will never tell you where the company is based.
They will take your credit card and charge you for extra work without advising first, when you make a complaint they will never respond.
I don't know how they are still trading. Avoid!

I sadly feel as though this is a scam…

I sadly feel as though this is a scam company. Was emailed from an email address at proimprove.co.uk - this operating under a different company name. Took a deposit and then failed to show for the job. Chasing for my deposit. Terrible

Avoid -

As some others are pointing out these people appear to be scam artists. They took my credit card details as wanted a sum for a quotation, which they charged straight away. They did go to the property and a few weeks later (after chasing) I have received a basic lump sum figure with no break down. WORSE since then my credit card has tried to be used for multiple fraudulent purchases and had to be stopped. It may / may not be them but it's a bit of a coincidence. Also the website / company that I found them under was not the company I was contacted by. Avoid

Returned the deposit...finally!

As other reviews have pointed out, this seems to be a scam company who would just take your deposit and won't bother to return it. I have chased them multiple times and haven't had a written response as yet and ofcourse no refund.

Also noted that they haven't bothered to reply to any of the negative reviews either and seem to be operating some sort of SEO scam where in they would come up at the top on search results (under different local website names) and would make you think that they are indeed local when clearly they aren't!

Are operating multiple email domains as well.

Edit - The deposit has now been returned after multiple chases.

Did not return deposit

Did not return deposit. I paid a deposit on new sash windows 3 months ago, then cancelled the job after the quote was increased and they couldn't answer some basic questions. Despite calling/emailing numerous times, It has still not been repaid and i'm having to pursue via my bank and the police to get the money back.

Dont be ripped off by this company !!!

Company gives quote, asks for deposit, sends round tradesmen to evaluate then gives much higher price, cancel and ask for refund... and thats it... no money or tell you its sent, it hasnt. They wont give you the MD contact details who deals with refunds, so you have to go through bank to fight for refund. The positive reviews here are bogus.

Bogus company

Bogus company. Please don’t fall for it. Still fighting for my money to get refund. I paid 50% deposit (more than £1000) towards the quote I received for bathroom shower glass door to install as asked by the company before they come an do actual measurements. They also provided the opt out option and refund the deposit if the quote goes up after actual measurement. After actual measurement they provided higher quote, so opted out and requested for refund. It is almost passed 6 weeks now, constantly chasing on the phone for refund but they are telling lies that they actually refunded to my bank account. During few calls they told the MD is on vacation, will look into it after come back from holidays. Now taking action through my bank.
Don’t loose your money through such companies when asked for deposit without actually getting done the measurements. I learned lesson.
