Avoid. Awful service. Unhelpful.
Totally agree with the other 1 star reviews and it’s clear these people do not care about their reputation or giving good customer service when something goes wrong or a customer wants a refund or compensation.
Yes, they gave me a refund (as I was protected by eBay) but only after the most unhelpful and unfortunate communication and giving them the opportunity to resolve the issue. They implied the broken skylight delivered on 07/11/21 was my fault (I didn’t make it, transport it or lift it off the truck), despite what they say - windows do not just break - unprotected ‘toughened’ glass on the back of a truck is more likely to crack enroute (but apparently not says them). I then had 3 large skylights delivered successfully by a different company and saw how they were safely transported and delivered. A couple of pictures with my builders’ hands on the broken skylight and rambling explanations of glass do not prove anything. Then they gave all the excuses to not collect the 1.5m x 1.5m useless frame and huge mess that was left behind.
If you look at the other 1 star reviews left, you’ll see they hide behind defensiveness, explanations and excuses and not actually reaching a solution that’s satisfactory, and play the victim.
They never answer the phone (even though they tell you to call) and call back within a window that suits them (and think it’s ok). When you do speak to them they’re patronising, lack any understanding and reel off the same justifications for taking no accountability and insist on continuing to speak (or write). They would rather spend the time trying to confuse a civilian consumer than listen to, and understand, what the actual issue is. Their sign off has no name - says a lot. Then they try and pass you over to ‘management’, by which point, what hope is there of a resolution. Avoid. Here comes the insincere apology, ‘appreciation’ and long winded, defensive excuses.
