Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that the replacement solar panel has failed. We understand how frustrating this must be, and want to help clarify the situation with the warranty.
We see that you purchased the 100W flexible solar panel in May 2021. This panel came with a 2-year warranty, as stated on the product datasheet https://www.solartechnology.co.uk/content-files/cms/files/flexi-panels/Flexi%20spec%20100W.pdf
The 4-year warranty you mentioned on our website is for a different product.
You contacted us when your original panel stopped working in June 2023, which was just outside of the 2-year warranty period. Even so, as a gesture of goodwill, we replaced it with a more powerful 150W panel, since the original was out of stock.
When any product is replaced under warranty, the warranty period does not reset. The original warranty for your 100W panel expired in May 2023. This means that the replacement panel, provided in June 2023, was not covered by a new warranty.
We sincerely apologise again for the frustration this has caused. We value our customers and always aim to find a solution, so if you'd like to get in touch with us directly, we will do our best to find a resolution for you.
