The idea of a Smartbox is nice, but the reality of its offer is HORRIBLE. If you want to gift someone a spa visit, then please just select a nice spa yourself and buy a giftcard with the spa directly.... See more

The idea of a Smartbox is nice, but the reality of its offer is HORRIBLE. If you want to gift someone a spa visit, then please just select a nice spa yourself and buy a giftcard with the spa directly. Smartbox honestly only offers the absolute saddest spas. And they pretend to have a big offer, but it's mostly single locations somehow offering dozens of different versions of the same uninspiring offering. And for the most decent offers you still have to pay extra. Please avoid the disappointment that the recipient will have when they realise the real Smartbox offer.

Restaurant Voucher for 2. Includes 1 x starter to shared, 1 x main each, 1 dessert, 1 glass of wine from the main carte. At the restaurant, only a few mains can be ordered, some mains not available (conveniently), and dessert not from the carte, but left overs from the daily menu. It doesn´t include bread. It is cheaper to order the set menu which includes bread.
After explaining this to smartbox, customer services here in Spain said, well you got a dessert anyway, sorry we cannot do anything.
They can improve by shutting down entirely. Rude, dismissive, and robbed me.

A total rip-off. I searched for the hotels I wanted, found them on the list of available hotels, and when I bought the Smartbox, it was impossible to find them. No matter what offer is on the Smartbox, if you go directly to the hotel, restaurant, or experience, you'll find it's cheaper. It doesn't make sense to buy something that offers you the option to stay at a hotel, as long as you check availability first, and it will be more expensive than if you contact the hotel—something you should do anyway to check availability. It's a joke.

Customer Email where they use an AI that is incapable of answering any questions and just keeps you in a loop. It is a shame that they value their customers so little

es una estafa, imposible contactar co ellos, despues de un mes intentando canjear mi bono regalo, sigue siendo imposible....

Possibly the worst company I have ever seen. They offered me an activity in a restaurant that is permanent closed. When I tried to contact them to cancel it, they force you to use a useless chatbot, as the customer support line is always extremely busy.

We had a box for two people for 60€ and the best we can have is a plante to share food. No recommend

My daughter bought my partner and I a weekend trip with dinner and Spa for 150E. When I came to cash in the voucher, virtually nothing was available anywhere you would want to go and we had real trouble finding a way of using it for over a year. Clearly the deals Smartbox make with Hotels are for the least popular dates/venues. Finally, we only had 1 night in Navajas in a 'Boutique' hotel with no dinner or Spa, in fact no staff were there that night, and still had to pay a 50E supplement. Complete rip-off - just book a hotel as a present and don't be tempted by these literally too-good-to-be true offers.

I buy a voucher and this is the experience:
More expensive than on the official site
Deprecated experience and need choose other later...
I tried to book a day and the site tells me that it is impossible and need contact with support.
I tried contact with customer service and ONLY a bot is there, anyone contact with me in more than one 1 week......

Top hotel, great food, in the centre of Andorra.
Lovely present and a fantastic experience. Recomended
They don't mention anything related to date restrictions on their site, but when you try to book, there are only limited dates that can be chosen in addition to being A LOT more expensive then the vendor (i.e., a booking which costs 160 euros on their site costs 245 euros, that's even without offering the same dates.
In addition, the support sucks, you try to contact them, but it's nearly impossible (no phone, just FAQ articles which don't really help) and the responses on emails and chat seem automatic (a really bad programmed AI) where your options for any question is "1 - Si, 2 - Si" or answer not relevant at all to the question

Terrible! They make big claims on their boxes then when you go to book your stay the only things available are during weekdays, not in the city you want to visit and actually not in a city at all.
When you finally find a hotel that had a night available you should check the price of a night at that hotel and it will always be about half the price of the Smartbox.
Shame of the scam company, and shame on shops like Corte Ingles for selling their stuff!

The business model of smartbox is crooked. I receive a present saying I have a free night in a hotel. I thought the hotel chain issued the voucher and there was no visible expiry date. Later I found out that Smartbox is in the business partner and the expiry date was behind a sticker. By that time it was too late however.
Next I had to register with Smartbox, something I do not want to do, as Smartbox should have no right to ask this from someone who receives a present. And now I get into a scam that becomes uncontrollable. You have to pay extra to revalidate, whereas it should be illegal to give an expiry date on something that has been paid in full.
I decided to throw the present away. The hassle of dealing with these kind of scams is too much. These are disgusting business ethics. Selling without delivering anything. I hope the EU will take action against these kinds of practices one of these days.

I lost 200€ with them. First, I tried to book many times with my first box, but seeing that it was impossible, I finished upselling my box to unlock more possibilities. I had to upsell twice. After all of this frustration, I called three different places and I got the answer: "for Smartbox we don't have bookings for this period of time" .. OK, "nothing happens" because if my Smart box expires, I can pay 20 € to refresh the expiration date. I went back last week to do that and.. surprise! the policy has changed and I cannot pay anything to recover my box. So yes, I lost my time, my patience, and my money trying to use this service. I don't recommend giving a Smartbox as a present to anyone, it could turn out as your worst nightmare.
