Review about Santander

Charging high fees all the time. To existing clients, prepare yourself they will charge more fees including myself for saying this. Sometimes the spending log is not correct and support not safe. They charge fees then declare as it was nothing. Always keep an eye on your account and keeping an eye on your account is not enough to keep your balance. Bad luck for me for trusting my money with them.

Bureaucratic, don't bother

I thought this was a new, modern, easy to use online bank in Portugal. But attempting to sign up for a new account is just as bad or worse than the traditional banks. After hours of non-sensical requests for yet more address documents I just gave up.

I wish I could give 0 stars.

I wish I could give 0 stars.. I have tried to close my account with Estoril branch for over a month. They keep charging me bank fees, I made about 5 phone calls and just get like 0 response that actually makes sense. I have send emails... Otherwise chat box. Uselesss. I wish I never contacted them. Was charged with an insurance initially, for health, while living in the UK. Still no reply. Unbelievable. Stay away.
