I ordered a roof lantern (sky light) on the 22 may 2023
I received no confirmation of the order or receipt of the money they took from my account total £1175.36 after 2 days of phone calls and emails i finally got an email from them stating they no longer supplied the type i had ordered and a refund would be made straight away i still have not had my money back, i have phoned the company 32 times since and every time i am told somebody will come back to me they never do over 10 emails and a recorded delivery letter and still no refund they are total scammers and to be avoided at all cost if you purchase from them after reading this you will not see your money again it is a scam

I hate leaving bad reviews but I really hope people read these reviews and avoid this company like the plague!

I ordered a roof lantern from them at the start of March, once the order was placed I called to request info on my order and was told they couldn’t give me any information and that I’d be called back. I couldn’t get any information out of anyone the multiple times I called, every time I was told that someone would be in contact. I also emailed roof lantern shop and I still haven’t received any information from them whatsoever! Luckily I have received a chargeback from the bank but I wish I had read the trust pilot reviews first to save so much time and hassle!

After ordering a roof lantern beginning of March was told 3 weeks delivery after we paid in full there was no communication we phoned at least 20 times and they (Grace ) couldn’t put us through to anyone else! Was told get a call back … no one ever called! We emailed numerous times only received 1 email back saying someone will be in touch.. NOTHING.
We paid by debt card so was obviously worried but our bank was great… asked for a chargeback explaining the situation that we have received no goods … & after a few days we lucky got our money back!!
ABSOLUTE DISGRACE OF A COMPANY!

Took our money and ghosted us!!

Ordered in 9th Feb. Told 3 weeks.
After 4weeks, and no communication, I rang to check on the progress.
I was unable to speak to anyone who had information about orders. I rang & emailed every day for 10days. Every day, several times a day, promised a call back from someone that could tell me something. That call never came.

After realising we'd probably been scammed, I charged the lanturn back on our debit cards, which isn't a quick process.
We were already weeks delayed because of this company. Now the company had 30days to respond to this charge back.

Rather than respond and close the case so we can atleast move on and order elsewhere. They've totally ignored the bank too. So that's another 30days our project has been delayed.

Tomorrow is day 30. So, unless, 2 months over due, this lanturn miraculously turns up tomorrow, the case will finally be closed in our favour. And we can move on and order elsewhere.

During this time, they've taken down their Facebook page, which is full of angry customers.

My guess would be this company is going bust and trying to cling onto what money it can.

DONT GIVE THEM ANY MONEY!!

Do not use those company. We placed and order since February and not received anything. They always say someone will call you back and even sent in several complaints with one response saying the will refund the money and till date have not.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - can’t leave zero stars otherwise I would. Took our money 6 weeks ago and heard nothing since, can’t speak to anyone, nobody responds to emails, told someone will call me back on a daily basis yet never received a single call. I heard today from another company that they have actually gone in to administration a few months back. Have now contacted trading standards and have had to dispute the payment with my bank to try and get the money back. Awful experience.

Do NOT Risk your money with this Company. I ordered a Lantern and Bi Fold doors in January 2023 and after paying in Full Up Front, i eventually took delivery of the Lantern after about 8 weeks of broken promises by 'Grace'. But i was fobbed off with every old trick in respect of the Bi-Fold Doors. I honestly think this this Company will go bust or cease trading soon after all the Complaints Trading Standards must have. Luckily i paid on Credit Card so have contacted the card provider to claim a full refund under Section 75. I have received lots of emails from 'Grace' with broken promises for the past 4 months now. See how many similar reviews are here. All with the same issues. USE THEM AT YOUR PERIL !

They told us the roof lantern would be 3-6 weeks. It wasn't. 4 months on and nothing, never respond. "Grace" always seems to be away from her desk, when she did eventually reply she said she would provide a full refund and that it has been processed, 2 weeks later no refund and no one bothering to return phone calls or emails. Please please do not use them.

A month later and not one single communication!
Unbelievably but when you call there is no way they can tell you what stage your order is at?
They take your number and email address and say someone will contact you!
I have called them 4 times in the last week and was promised a call back everytime today the 13th Mar promised me a call back by 6pm but nothing!
How can you call a company and not be able to speak anyone in either production or someone to discuss your order!

Don’t buy anything from this company as I don’t think it exists!!

I ordered 2 large roof lanterns at the beginning of December and I contacted them by phone in the first week of January for an update on delivery as I was told 3-4 weeks when I ordered them, the ladies that answered the phone told me they didn’t have any information on my order but someone from their technical department would get back to me, nobody has returned my call, after 4-5 emails I eventually received an email from Grace saying they was being delivered week commencing 22nd January. This info was relayed to my customer.
The glass was delivered on 25th January but I am still waiting for the framework a month later, my customer cannot use the room as I have temporarily sealed the apertures (holes) in their roof
I’ve since sent numerous emails and still no reply and now the phone number is a voicemail, nobody to answer the phone
My customer is getting frustrated that there is no date to get their completed house back

I have left 1 star because I can't leave zero.
My husband placed an order approx 5 weeks ago. Since then the communication has been minimal. Had an email from 'Grace' on 26/01/23 saying they will be in touch with a delivery date. Still no date. Tried calling, goes to VM, left messages on fb messenger, commented on a fb post. Still nothing. Had to contact the bank to get the money back.
Before you think of ordering please try calling first, the fact you can't speak to anyone is a red flag.

I had a project in Glasgow and needed to source a 3m x 1m aluminium skylight to provide the customer with natural sunlight. After doing some research I came across Roof Lantern Shop who provided me with a quick quote and speedy responses to all my tricky technical questions! Would use again if doing another project in the UK

ordered our Korniche Roof lantern before christmas for delivery in January, Grace was very helpful with the ordering process and kept me up to date with progress and delivery dates. Both the glass and frame were delivered last Thursday with no issues and we fitted it at the weekend, it looks amazing and has definitely given us the look and light we wanted in our extension. Very good service by this company and Grace.
