Multiopticas Maspalomas

Multiopticas Maspalomas - very disappointed as my glasses have not arrived on time. It has taken them more than a month to deliver it from Spain to another european country. They promise me to ship the glasses and until i did not call them they were not delivered as they forgot about it. So irresponsible.

On holidays at the moment in Maspalomas…

On holidays at the moment in Maspalomas and wore my glasses into the sea “ silly mother moment “ and was left devastated. Went to Multiópticas in nearby la Tablero I couldn’t have been looked after any better. Lovely girl did everything from start to finish and I was able to pick up two new pair of glasses for an incredible price including insurance for 12 months when at home for €218. Within one day they had them made for me. I’m so grateful and they made the holiday as idve been lost without them. Thanks so much Anita Collins. Ireland

Service at Multioptica, Paseo Borne, Palma. It might have happened to you as well

It might have happened to you as well: you jump in your car and find yourself sitting on your sunglasses. As this happened to me on March 15th 2024 I straight away went to Multioptica on Paseo Borne, Palma and found a very friendly and customer oriented team. The looked at what were the remains of my glasses, vanished 15 min and came back with aligned glasses, that recovered their lenses. This service was for free and I felt perfectly being taken care of. Thanks to the Multioptica team!

Friendly but slow and dishonest

~1 hour wait to be attended to. ~1 week wait to get your glasses back. Incorrectly suggests your expenses are covered by your healthcare provider (they weren't). Otherwise good. Friendly staff. Good prices.

Over and beyond service

Over a year ago I purchase two pairs of glasses with multiopticas. I lost my favorite of the two. I returned to the store at Plaza Major but I couldn’t find the frame in their display. I explained to the young lady what happen. She looked up my record and confirmed they did not have the same frame but she offered to call other stores to see if they still had it. She said she would call me back later that day. 2 hours later she called to say she located the frame and is having it shipped to her store. That is great customer service. They will continue to be my preference optical store!!

Unbelievably bad experience

Unbelievably bad experience. I would not recommend buying prescription glasses here, the store in Palma, Mallorca. The sales assistant, Laura, was rude, aggressive and didn’t even check my glasses properly. I was told repeatedly that it was my mistake and to talk to the manager at another time. She then started arguing with me in Spanish, even though I’d asked if we could speak in English! I left feeling very angry and dismissed, as a customer who paid nearly 200 euro for glasses and previously 50 for sunglasses, they still argued over 30 euro that I had to pay, which were for lenses they had to change as I couldn’t use them, as I couldn’t see correctly with them. Felt like I totally wasted my money. They are also not helpful when choosing styles, when I bought my previous glasses, at Ollie Quinn, they helped me so much. Staff here are very unfriendly.

Poor service, poor eyetest, expensive !!!!!!

I bought my glasses at Centro Optico Baza Andalucia. They are supposed to come with free scratch resistance lenses. Mine are covered in scratches after about 18 months. Vari-focal for reading is a very small area at the bottom of the lense so I have to tilt my head back to read, very uncomfortable. In my opinion the prescription is way off as I now need new glasses. I was simpy handed my glasses when I went to pick them up, no fitting or adjustments, just here's your gaffas, goodbye. €300 wasted! Unable to go back and complain as the lockdown prevented this. AVOID!
