Avoid this company at all costs recently a C.D I bought arrived and was in a dreadful condition the case was broken and dirty and cracked and the C.D was scratched and skipped on most of the tracks when I contacted Momox they said it was in an acceptable condition by their standards which speaks volumes about their standards as what good is a C.D if it doesn't actually play they then said I could send it back but the postage exceeded what I had paid so whats the point and not worth the grief , avoid like the plague .

Avoid this shop like the plague!
I placed an order and my bank account was debited immediately. The next day, a few hours later, I received an email confirming its shipment. However, more than a month after this alleged shipment, the shipment status still indicates that nothing was received by the logistic company.
I contacted Momox.fr to get information about the shipment of my order: all possible and imaginable obstacles were placed to not ship the due items nor to return the money.
Not convinced? Look on their website for the email address to contact them for support. Can't find it after 1 minute? Strange, isn't it? Can't find it after 2 minutes or more? As said, avoid them! Stay away from this shop like the plague!

I’ve sold a hundred euros of books to momox over the years, 25c here €3 there and there’s always little discrepancies. Sometimes they just claim that a certain higher value book wasn’t received even though it’s definitely gone other times the claim a book that’s in really good condition is no longer sellable and will ask you to donate it for free or pay a charge to have it sent back to you. I used to accept these as a kind of tax, but lately it just gets more and more. This time they claimed 50% of the books I sold were not up to scratch even though they were in the same condition as when they I bought them from momox. It’s just become too scammy.

Sent a bunch of books, one of them had a buyback offer of 7€ (perfect condition - never opened it as it was a gift). Funnily enough, this book was rejected !
I contacted customer service for additional information on this rejection.
First time : I called them, they said they would contact me the day after. Never heard from them in 2 weeks. So at this point I wrote an e-mail to their customer service.
This time they responded with a generic answer (making barely intelligible sentences), arguing that books are checked by 2 employees at least, and stating that they cannot give proof of why it was rejected (photos for example) due to the lack of time. Tried to contact them again on the phone twice. No answer.
So on my end, very poor customer experience, and I honestly highly suspect this is a scam. There are perfecty good and honest alternatives to this company. Don't use Momox unless you want problems with your books !

Book advertised as « très bon état », whereas it is actually in a pretty bad state. Two books received that have English titles and that have been written in English originally, but are indeed the French and Spanish translations, without any indication of this on their website. On inquiry, they replied that I must « check the ISBN codes » before ordering to make sure the book is in the desirable language. Really? I must check the ISBN code for hidden information that they might have « neglected » to include on their website?

Some of the negative reviews are a bit unfair, It is clear that Momox are based in Berlin, I always contact these wonderfull people if I have a querry, and they help out, or I just use common sense or just do research on the item I'm buying regarding muti language subtitles option or in game voice acting languages etc, but Momox mostly provide all the nessercery information anyway.
People should really use the internet for what it was intended for, information, communication, and to make your life easier.
My personal experiences with Momox has always been outstanding,
They remind me of how good Music Magpie used to be before they went way downhill now sending you rusty games and trash pile condition media
Honestly Momox have been quite valuable for me over the years not with all the insane collectors item scalping going on online. Sensible prices and items arrive in fantastic condition.
Thanks guys 👏👏
Buy with confidence
The worst customer experience I've had since I started shopping online. I bought 3 books to them via Rakuten. My order never arrived. I've been waiting for over two months with no communication from Momox (no carrier mentioned). Despite several calls, I still haven't received any product or refund. The customer service that responds on Rakuten seems to send automatic messages written by bots, I've never felt so disrespected.

Thieves. Lost one of my books at réception and say I never sent it. Load of Bull, highly unprofessional, better do the sales yourself on vinted seeing how much of a rip off this is.

Never had a problem, I've maybe ordered a dozen CD's and DVD's over a few years, even some rarities I couldn't find anywhere else or at an outrageous price. If the quality is just announced as "good" I expect it to be playable and that's fine by me.

I was looking for a place online to sell my books. I found Momox in France, but for a book I paid 15 euros for 5 months ago, they only wanted to offer 0,15 euros. Not worth it to sell books here.

My order through Amazon was made about two months ago. It still hasn't been sent but the supplier has greatly delayed the time it will reach me without any explanation, no apology, no financial compensation. Bad service and unreliable business. Every attempt to contact the business is met with a bot. Also, the tracking number is inactive and cannot be tracked. Since yesterday, I have also applied on the business's Facebook page, they read my application, but I am not being answered. Now they sent me a message through Amazon, from which it is impossible to understand anything. is nothing! What a disgrace.
.
10/24/23 - I add to my review after the response of the business: dozens of my inquiries in attempts to get service from you, both through Amazon and on Facebook, didn't help me get service for my purchase about two months ago, which did not arrive. The date has already passed. I did not receive an apology, I did not receive a reasonable explanation, and as I wrote - your tracking number is still incorrect and cannot be tracked. Dozens of people wrote the same thing! You are a business with very bad service, you act like crooks. I have read here and on Facebook dozens of comments from customers, which are the same as my bad experience with you. I will never buy from you again.
And regarding your lies here: no one contacted me on Facebook, messenger or email, even though you have all the details about my purchase. You are acting like crooks, did I already write?
.
My response to Momox's comment edit: You are liars. You are acting like crooks. You do not provide answers to inquiries. Where is my shipment, my purchase from September 1st?? Why are you giving tracking numbers that don't work? Why don't you answer dozens of references to you on Facebook and Amazon? You apply make-up only in front of criticism on this great site. You are so poor! I am a journalist. I will continue to post reviews everywhere and warn people about dangerous businesses like yours.
.
And once again I am responding to nonsens on behalf of the business: all my details are well known to you. Your answers are worthless. I have already wasted a lot of time because of your disdain for customers. It is appropriate to never purchase from you!
.
25/10/2023 Update: After they wasted hours of my time lack of service and lack of response to, thanks to my insistence to update here on their conduct, today I received a message from Amazon about a partial credit in the amount of $16.95 from a payment of approximately $65. The message states that the sale has been cancelled. But I didn't cancel the purchase! I still demand to receive it after two months of waiting for it. Of course, the new delivery date is gone from Amazon and as usual, there is no tracking number. I have not encountered such bad service yet.
I want it to be clear: no one from Momox contacted me on Facebook, through Amazon or by email. NOBODY! They don't give a damn!
.
Scam|mers, where is my order?? Only after dozens of inquiries to you, reviews on Google and Facebook and inquiries through Amazon, did you return my money. What it means? where is the book I've been waiting for it for two months! Where is the book I bought from you? You are the worst and most disrespectful business I have ever met in my life!
MOMOX must not be trusted!!
.
29/10/2023 - Order from September 1st. Two months passed. No active tracking number. Dozens of inquiries to the Momox company in all possible ways. They answered me only after they wanted me to stop revealing their behavior on Google and Facebook, they lied to me and refused to give me a delivery date. It still continues. Watch out for Momox!!

MOMOX You are rude, liars and unserviceable. You never sent me the book I bought on Amazon, and the book is still for sale on Amazon!! You are just crooks!

Momox is the most despicable and wretched business I have come across in my life. Even on Chinese websites you don't find vile and lying sellers like in Momox.

Excuse me in advance if my english is bad, I'm from France. I ordered a book (Adventures of Huckleberry) because I need it for my literature class in university. The thing is, I ordered it 3 days ago and today I decided to check where my order was & if I was going to receive it anytime soon.
So I went to my momox account, I saw that there was no order, so I went to check my bank account and there was an amount of 8€ that had been deducted by momox, which means that I did paid for it. What does that mean then ? Give me my money back if you don't want to send me that book.

Useless, useless company. Wanted a couple of books but ordered 5 so I could get free postage. They only sent me 3 books and said the other 2 were on the way. Several weeks later they still hadn't arrived, they said I needed to sign an attestation and they would send them again. I did and they them changed their mind and said I needed to order the books again.
I don't mind ordering them again but 2 books will not be enough to get free postage and it seems unfair to have to pay for this because of their mistake. Have emailed them many times asking them if they will excuse me the cost of postage but every time they ignore this request and tell me again how much postage costs. Incredibly frustrating not to be able to get a simple answer and offer to help fix their mess up.
Edit in response to reply: the address I provided was correct, it was used on the first parcel you sent which arrived with no problems. So no I am not understanding that I will now have to pay postage to reorder the books that I didn't receive originally.

Crooks. Ordered Carly Simon Original Album Series. Delivery was to be between April 24 and May 15. Status says running late. DHL tracking ID doesn’t exist. I’d say they are inept or crooks. Liars for sure.

Momox, medimops... veritable scumbags, swine...
Reading others' experiences here, they're even more corrupt than I first thought.
They've cancelled my orders and sent wrong items countless times, purposefully. They list hundreds if not thousands of stock which they don't have and then they either don't send a thing, cancel the order after an inordinate amount of time, or send another item of equivalent weight and measurement but not remotely equivalent in topic or in worth. It's usually something pathetic and insulting. Others have said the same.
I've played around with them and bought up copies of books I knew they were lying about having in stock - as with other bookjackers who were listing alongside them - and then had my orders cancelled by them or been sent unrelated cheap throwaway books that not even a worm would read. Worms actually have good taste, believe it or not.
How the script goes next is, they apologize and say they'd never do it knowingly and that they're sorry but they have no copies to send a replacement, even though copies are still listed (or relisted) in their inventory, and then they refund you or, sometimes, they get mean-hearted and won't refund you, treating you, the customer, like a newborn baby that deserves a thorough hide-slapping just for existing, and demanding instead, like a factory farm of frumpy grumpy Olgas and Helgas, that you return the items because it was your mistake.
No dignity, no integrity. Quick-buck criminals headed by a get-rich-quick entrepreneur who no doubt has made his fortune and left the ship to sink in hands old or new.
Their methods, and the methods of others like them, they make interest off of the money coming in from purchases, whether they have the stock or not, and/or tax dodge by claiming losses annually on orders which never existed for them to fulfill. I've reported their shady practices and will continue to do so. I suggest others do the same. Trading standards, law enforcement, marketplaces, anywhere else~
Edited to add, I persisted with chasing them up for a refund for the most recent wrong order that they were being huffy about and succeeded in getting a refund after some back-and-forth deliberation. First, they said they had refunded me, I checked and saw that they hadn't, so I contacted again, as you can see below, and asked for them to ensure that it was done, which worked, although they refunded the item price and the postage costs in two stages. Feel free to use my below email as a starting template for your grievances with Momox / Medimops~
*******
Hi,
Thanks for your response, and thank you for offering to refund me. I see I haven't been refunded as yet, could you initiate this please? I have to correct you also - Momox / medimops does not have a strict control system. I know that's something you have to say, you parrot what you've been told to parrot, but it's not accurate. This is something that regularly, regularly happens, not just to me but to many of your customers. Across the years I personally have been sent dozens of wrong books which are equal measurement and equal weight to the book I wanted, never anything larger (or smaller), quite by design, but not the actual title I'm after. Case in point, just now, if I purchased multiple - multiple - copies of [...] from Momox, the book we are referring to now, and I was sent each time the wrong book, then the control system by definition can't be very strict. Momox have listed this book on Amazon and input that they had around ten copies in stock, none of which turned up; some of which were cancelled, most of which I was sent absolute garbage in its place. I guess the garbage I was sent will either not arrive with the person who eventually intends to buy the garbage or it won't matter because they're charity shop chaff from mountainous molehills in-warehouse, i.e. no one wants them anyway, they're discards from the pulp recycling pile. I think Momox / Medimops needs to be investigated, don't you?
Be well, all the best,

To buy directly from medimops is a nightmare. When they send you the wrong product, instead of reimbursing or providing an easy way to return the ítems, they ask you to send them yourself ( very clever and off-putting dishonest strategy) . It has happened twice to me. Both times the shipping costs were far higher than the price of the book. In both cases I have lost my money and have had to keep books that I don't need.I have just bought Thomas Mann's collected stories in two volumes and they have sent me the second volume twice. I have sent them all sorts of photos to prove that I am not lying. They will not give up. They ask me to return the books . They won't replace the book or provide like amazon does a label to return the item without cost to the customer
They don't care at all about regular customers Who, like me, have bought hundreds of books in the last few years. I'll think twice before buying anything from them again. Appalling. Everything is perfect until something goes wrong

I never received the article. When I contacted Momox, I was told that the article « had left our warehouse without tracking number », no other explanation. I requested at least a shipment date, and received a second email stating that «the product is not anymore available on our website and we will send you a voucher ». What???? No explanation, no solution, no information? Awful.

Following on from my previous review, finally I have received a full refund for not only the wrong book they sent me, but also the postage incurred for the return of this book. But, the amount of mails I had to send to achieve this! My main criticism is that every time I sent a message, I received a response from a different adviser who obviously hadn’t bothered to read the previous messages, so I had to repeat the whole sorry saga many times. This increased my frustration with the company. Easy to fix this? If you can be bothered to look back at my original review, you will note I got a response within a few hours, much sooner than responses from customer service! Good news! But, the promise made that a €10 voucher was to be added to my account was never fulfilled.
In summary, when all goes well, this is a great place to shop. If things go wrong, don’t expect a speedy resolution (mine took almost a month), don’t believe all you are told, and be prepared to write your story several times to what seems like every member individually of the customer service department. Makes you wonder why they have such a large department?
