The honey is thin and very runny. Had to chilled in the fridge for 24 hours. No flavour or smell. Wrote to the company and was informed that the honey is dependent on the harvest . It’s obvious l had one from a poor harvest. Waste of money.
I have ordered from another reputable company who wrote and warn about fake honey so hopefully it would be a better experience than Manukalab.

Honey jars not sealed. No response to emails. Buy at your own risk.

I bought a 500g of 700+ MGO Manuka Honey, which because of its relatively short “use by date” I bought for less than half of the original RRP.

The purchase was smooth and the delivery was quick, however on opening the box I was met with a sticky mess. There was Honey around the lid and down the side of the jar so the first thing I had to do was wash the plastic jar.

I then checked the lid which to be fair did appear to be locked, however with the lid removed and a gentle squeeze of the jar I could see the air was escaping from the seal of the jar. It was not sealed!!!

I immediately tried to contact Manuka Lab but they do not have a phone number. I therefore emailed them explaining the issue. Two days later I had zero response so I sent a 2nd email, and to date still no response.

This was my first purchase from “Manuka Lab UK” and got the following reasons it will be my last.

1. The jar arrived NOT SEALED and honey had leaked.
2. Manuka Lab are not contactable via phone
3. Despite sending emails I have still received no response.

Compared to other excellent companies who sell Manuka honey such as Manuka Doctor, this company, unfortunately isn’t one which puts customers first.

UPDATE: Manuka Lab have now responded and despite that fact that it was not sealed they will not take any action without photos which must have been taken prior to opening? This is a food product which has been delivered NOT SEALED and Manuka Lab simply say they can do nothing …. My first and very last purchase from this non customer focused Manuka supplier!

Purchased 3 jars of 700+ MGO Manuka Honey from Manuka lab, great tasting product and next day delivery. I am about to make a further purchase!

Do not use this company. I bought the 5 bundle for value , when received the best before date was less than a month away so 4 no use. They refused to exchange saying “That was reflected in the price” Nowhere on their website was this fact displayed.

The date on website is use by 17/08/25 which would have been fine- My use by is 19/02/25

I always have good experience with Manuka Lab - I would recommend them
