Great place to stay.
First time I have stayed here and will gladly again. Room had everything i would need. Bed was very comfy. Nice lady in the bar gave me the key. Bathroom was really nice and shower was powerful.
Lovely view out to the coast and all the yachts. I would gladly recommend Itchenor Sailing Club.
As a room, it was ok, but the view was great!
As a room, it was okay. It had a mish-mash of non-matching furniture, and there were dabs of paint on the varnished surfaces where someone had been careless with a paintbrush. The windows opened, but were sticking slightly and needed a shove. The cabinet under the sink had a broken door and it was just propped-up into place. When I tried to open it, the whole door lifted away in my hand. The base to one of the beds had stains on the outside. This room was up in the roof space of the building. If you're over 5' 8" you might not appreciate the sloping ceilings! These are just rooms - no shower or toilet facility (which is pointed-out in the advertising). The bathroom/toilet is separate. It's basically clean, but some of the general maintenance is of poor quality. For example, a new toilet roll dispenser has been fitted to the wall, but you can see where the old one was as the screw holes are still visible. It wouldn't have taken much time to fill the holes and paint over this area. The general impression is that it has all been slung together with any old bits of furniture and a crude paint job just to get the paying punters in there. Check out the rough woodwork just behind the toilet cistern on the top floor. I don't expect the quality of a room in the Ritz, but there is a roughshod element to the way these rooms have been kitted out and decorated. Tea and coffee facilities were all there, and I found the bed comfortable. Also, had a great view out of my room window across the water. Shame I can't attach photo's - these would support what I've written above. All the staff there were friendly & helpful.
Basic, clean and pretty spot
Staff very welcoming. Room basic but tidy and clean and all the necessities. Shared bathroom and shower room very clean. Lovely views, although bring bug repellent in warm weather as its right on the water!
Have to pay for parking at nearby public car park (barely a 5 min walk) but reasonable prices, £7 for 12 hours overnight.
Only negatives were that my large window opened out to an accessible flat roof so didnt feel safe having window open for air during night. Walls also quite thin so was woken by other guests coming and going in the hallway late at night.
Shipshape
I arrived late in the evening, but had no difficulty getting in to my clean, bright room. Shower etc. were excellent. A very pleasant experience, and one I shall repeat if working again in the area.
Charming accommodation
Charming accommodation, completed by excellent staff who couldn't do enough for us
Great place to stay!
Great place to stay!
Thanks for a wonderful time - the sailing club is perfectly located direchtly on the bay. Very friendly and helpful staff!
Comfortable stay.
Stay was good, room was clean and the bed comfortable. Parking was across the road in a public car park, cost overnight was £5.80, I wasn’t aware of this before booking.
Charming room, great location
Charming and clean room, exceptional view on Chichester Harbour, pleasant and peaceful place (at the time of our visit, in the middle of the week, there was no sailing activities). Perfect starting point to walk along the river... And lots of nice boats to admire.
Fabulous location
Fabulous location, clean & comfortable room with harbour view. Easy self-check-in with clear instructions messaged in advance.
Serenity in a peaceful spot
The setting overlooking the harbour was stunning.
Check that the tin for tea is actually filled and you will have to be responsible for your own milk in your room. The onus is on the guest! They charge for breakfast which although we knew I thought was a bit cheeky, we chose to eat elsewhere. The mould in the shower could have been removed, minor detail, but important.
I cannot fault the location and ambience from the sailing fraternity.
A lovely place to stay
Itchenor Sailing Club is a beautiful spot to stay. The rooms were lovely and they were clean and bright. We needed to check in late and the staff at the club made it so easy and convenient. We absolutely loved our stay.
Lovely stay
Lovely stay. Beautiful location and very tranquil setting. Staff were super friendly. We’d love to return at some point.
Lovely stay at the Sailing Club
Lovely staff at the Sailing Club. Anna went out of her way to accommodate us (literally) when there was a problem with our original booking.
Great location, lovely bar with a garden overlooking the water & lots going on.
It was so nice we didn't stray very far all weekend.
Stunning views
Stunning views across the marina. Gorgeous setting. Enjoyed our stay.

We stayed at Itchenor Sailing Club for…
We stayed at Itchenor Sailing Club for a couple of nights last week. The double en suite room was very comfortable and clean with the most fabulous views. The village of Itchenor is gorgeous with a great pub which we visited both nights and a cafe serving delicious breakfast. Wonderful walks along the coast.
We left feeling relaxed and recharged and will definitely return.
Great views
Great views, comfortable beds excellent proximity to walking the estuary.
Good, basic accomodation
Really good, affordable accommodation. Ideal for outdoor activity breaks. Very helpful staff and a nice clubhouse and cafe available open to guests. No evening meals, but the pub nearby is really good and serves food in the evening.
Comfortable and welcoming
Comfortable and welcoming, we loved the friendly atmosphere and kindness of staff and members.
Lovely peaceful stay by the water!
Itchenor Sailing Club is a haven with lots of boats on the water. It's clean and has all you need for a comfortable and peaceful stay. The Ship Inn pub 2 mins away for dinner if the club isn't serving food. West Witterings (sandy beach) is close by. A lovely little find.
