It is very flexible. We had to change our plans several times and that was not a problem. We also enjoyed travelling first class!
The interrail was expired without me knowing this.
Inasumed the month starts when you have your first travelday, that’s what was communicated, but this is not true
Really great! Love my 4 day intereail ticket. It is so practical and so easy to install and use:))
I liked the overall experience.
The app worked just fine. It was sometimes hard to find specific lines and to reserve them.
Price/quality was worth it, especially with the reduction because of the special action.
Interrailing is not for the faint hearted. You can go to the farthest points of Europe, visit amazing places but it takes time, planning and some thinking to get there and back. there are so many options and differing requirements for trains in different countries. But it is all worth it. Adventures you create, by routes you decide, in the time you want to take. And the occasional misadventure when a train is late but hey ho, it is part of the adventure.
You have freedom of movement, using multiple trains/routes, at advantageous costs.

Great way to travel around Europe: we've used Interrail passes for several years now. Good flexibility, with the added benefit that travel to/from London can also be included by planning carefully. We even found that some Swiss ferry services were included. the pass system takes a little getting used to but soon becomes second nature.

So it’s a great idea and I am glad I did it.
But it is a real hassle having to:
a) find out if you need a reservation or not and then find the right website to buy a reservation, followed by trying to remember where the resulting ticket is stored (not always in the wallet). Each train company uses a different platform to buy a reservation and then store the ticket in different apps or emails
b) record every train in the app - it does not feel free to decide “I am going there” and then having to document that before I board my train. And I sense the documentation is not for my benefit as it is not always checked.
Incidentally if you have no phone signal this all becomes tricky. And it does mean you need to roam which I found expensive.
By contrast, a Swiss Pass is a breeze. Sure, I need to declare I am travelling today, but then I just show that to the guard, and I can decide on a whim to go off on a tangent. I have used a SwissPass before and it is great fun. Having to do Interrail administration is not.

Absolutely incredible - the App and the overall booking system is so easy and incredibly well integrated across all the countries. Brilliant - can’t wait to go again.

I had a great time travelling through Europe, the Interrail pass was easy in use. Two points for consideration: 1) integrate buying seat reservations in the app en 2) make sure all rail providers are represented.
The trains were comfortable and on time. It seemed fairly straightforward to use the interrail platform, find a route and reserve seats
I didnt used 50% of Tickets and lost the Money - I can not get my Money back

Nice experience on the interrail side!
The French prices to book a seat can be quite high (and it is mandatory, so no way to get around it like e.g. in Germany). In the end, the pass did not make me save money. But I think it could in other countries where reservation is not so expensive.
However, it could work in France if you only take regional trains! I did not have the time, but if you do, it can be a good solution.

Easy to use app. We travelled through Europe over 3 weeks and had no problems. A great way to get around.
generally good but having to reserve seats on a different website/app made it sometimes difficult to co-ordinate travel. Also, it seemed that there were quite a lot of train journeys excluded from Interrail.
