Inca Experts planned the trip of a lifetime. Their expertise and attention to detail was absolutely incredible. They assisted us through two separate crises, a medical emergency and the loss of a passport, that could have prematurely ended our 14 day trip. I would 100% recommend them and will use them again for future travels in Peru

Inca Expert worked with us to create an informative and active trip within our requested time frame. The consultants suggested excellent guides and hotel services for our trip to Machu Picchu, the Sacred Valley and Lake Titicaca. Each transfer was seamless, and there was flexibility within each day to tweak the itinerary for our specific needs and interests. Our guides lent unique perspectives to our travels because they had grown up in each location and could offer cultural and historical comments as well as personal experiences.
An unexpected highlight was the stunning Belmond Andean Explorer train between Cusco and Lake Titicaca. This gliding gem allowed us to relax at the end of our trip as we dined and rolled amidst the lofty Andean landscape where we encountered new vistas and pueblos. The service and decor of the train captured Peruvian cultural spirit, and the dining and beverages were exquisitely creative.
Overall, Inca Expert did an excellent job putting together our trip. We do recommend trekking poles on Machu Picchu for those who are used to using them. If you complete circuit one, the poles are especially helpful.

Our experience with Inca Experts and our guide Huber was absolutely exceptional. From start to finish, every detail was handled with precision and genuine care. The itinerary was perfectly balanced—rich in history and culture while allowing time to soak in the breathtaking beauty of Peru.

IncaExperts was wonderful to work with from start to finish. We originally worked with Eli on our booking. She could not have been more helpful, knowledgeable or flexible as we changed our plans several times.

On arrival in Peru, everything was extremely well organized and we were provided with plenty of information on our schedule, flights, etc. It was great to have the clear written schedule.

We had a fairly major disruption (not at all the fault of IncaExperts) because a protest stopped train travel to Machu Picchu. I am certain the team at IncaExperts had many customers whose travel was also disrupted but we felt like they were 100% there for us with rebooking hotels and drivers. This experience, while difficult, convinced us that working with IncaExperts was critical compared to trying to book the trip ourselves. I am sure we would have ended up sleeping at the train station without their support.

Each of the guides and drivers were excellent-knowledgeable and friendly. Could not be happier.

Overall, despite the protest, a great trip. I would definitely recommend IncaExperts.

Seeing Machu Picchu had been on our bucket list for a while and we decided let's Just Do It! I found Inca Expert Travel online and they had great reviews. After many searches, I decided that the guided tour would be the best choice for my husband and I. We also liked the idea that it would be our private tour. From start to finish, this company is amazing. Maria, who crafted our itinerary for our requests, the tour guides on site - Maria, Karina, Peter and ALL the drivers - Johan, Juan Carlos, and many more (their names escape me) were nothing short of professional, knowledgeable, fun, and witty which added to our experience. Let me say that we really had no idea what we were getting into with this trip even though we really have traveled on every continent and all seasons. So, from the minute our feet hit the ground, to the flight taking off for home, it was pure adventure! Expert Inca Travel had planned everything impeccably and there were many pick ups and drop offs, hotel changes, the train to Macchu Pichu. We had white glove service the entire trip. And we could communicate with the office during the trip if necessary. The whole comapny is amazing. I highly recommend them! The
rest of the review is about the actual trip- it was so stunning in everyway and I am still excited about it. So that's a great trio!! The Andes Mountains are breathtakingly beautiful, huge, rugged and force to be reckoned with - and they are everywhere! We were IN them the entire trip (except for Lima). Cutting the switchback roads into shear rock face is awe inspiring in itself. So get ready for quite a ride! Anyway, the historical sites of Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu took my breath away. Nothing prepares you for these Incredible feats of engineering. I am fascinated with archeology and I love history. So I had read up on the history of Peru, and the Incas, but nothing prepared me for these sites. The guides are so knowledgeable and we had many questions. There wasn't anything that they didn't have an answer or plausible speculation for. It is truly a sight to behold. All I can say is go! The food is wonderful! Everywhere, no matter where you eat. We did the Lima Street Food and Market tour and thoroughly enjoyed that! We also did go to MIL in sacred valley - on our Anniversary - and the train strike took a pause all in the same afternoon, so it was truly a magical trip! There is no moment I would not want to relive. All I can say, is that we loved it all, the Peruvian people are so kind and helpful, the food is delicious, the hotels were quite comfortable (much better beds than anywhere in Europe), the sites are amazing and you can have the adventure of a lifetime in a week if you choose. Thank you to all our hosts, drivers, guides and all who helped us make such beautiful memories!

Our experience with Inca Expert was absolutely wonderful. From the very beginning, Eli Cabrera helped us plan every detail with great care. Upon arrival at the airport, we were greeted with all our tickets and transfers neatly organized by date and even a thoughtful welcome gift. Everything went flawlessly.

Our guide in Cusco and the Sacred Valley, Ruth, was amazing—knowledgeable, kind, and professional. When I forgot a shirt at a hotel in the Sacred Valley, Inca Expert arranged for a driver to deliver it all the way to Cusco. Communication was excellent, even in Machu Picchu when they updated us early in the morning about a bus strike.

The hotels were also excellent. Overall, I would rate them a 10 and highly recommend Inca Expert.

We had the perfect experience, from the moment we had contacted Gracie by email! Every personal tour and guide, she had lined up for us, on the itinerary she put together, for our first visit to Peru, was perfect and on time for each event!
The guides were extremely knowledgeable, in each area they toured us through, the airport and hotel transfers, could not have been any smoother and with this company, it has made us want to experience more of Peru!
They even included a detailed packing list, which was very helpful! We would recommend this company to anyone going to Peru!

Inca Experts saved us a lot of time and mental energy in planning a trip to Peru to see Machu Picchu and the Amazon. All of the hotels were excellent, and the guides were wonderful. We appreciated that the trip was tailored to our interests and needs. Highly recommend -- especially for MP because you have to co-ordinate tickets for entry, bus, and train and book a hotel.

Travel Advisor Maria, 817.210.6443 tailored our Peru experience exactly to our needs. This was our first trip to South America, mid 70's couple, do not speak Spanish. One more active with walking on uneven surfaces than the other and asked to have English speaking personal guides each day. Maria met our needs with 7 experienced guides who explained the history of the area perfectly for 7 days. We requested 3-4 star hotels, and all 4 exceeded our expectations with location, quality amenities, breakfasts and dinners. We were given a folder with all timely information, maps, and a 24-Hour Support phone number, plus maps, complimentary vacuum sealed water bottles, accessory bag & a selection of photo greeting cards made by local artists. Our overall review of Inca Expert Travel is a ten +. My husband & I live in Western NC, retired from Dallas 10 years ago and felt very insecure without personal guide service from Inca Expert Travel...ask for Maria Jose Castañeda, and be specific about you r expectations and needs.

Inca Expert Travel was excellent in creating our itinerary and carrying out our Peru travel wishes. All of our guides were very knowledgeable and allowed us to adapt as needed. The company was able to rearrange our trip last minute when the rail system to Machu Picchu was out for a few days to still get us in. I'm not sure we would have been able to make it to see the wonder of the would had we not booked with such a responsive company.

When I first booked my trip with Inca Expert Travel to Machu Picchu and surrounding areas, I really didn't know what to expect. I honestly wanted to cancel my trip altogether. However, from the moment I landed in Peru to the day that I returned to Lima, it was an AMAZING experience that will last a lifetime. Firstly, Grecia was an incredible travel agent and finetuned my itinerary to fit my needs; I thank her immensely for that. Secondly, each tour was private and breathtaking... except for my Rainbow Mountain tour, which was absolutely AMAZING!!!! The food was amazing, the hotels were each... amazing! There really is nothing bad that I can say about my experience with Inca Expert Travel. I highly recommend using them and I will book with them again in the future.
