This would have to be the biggest piece of rubbish I have ever used. Nothing remotely positive could be said about this. HP Dumb would be a better name with how unresponsive everything is!

Trying to start HP Smart -it is just…
Trying to start HP Smart -it is just spinning and shows no sign of ever coming up. Hours and hours wasted trying to get this useless program to work.
I'm done trying to get this to work
I'm done trying to get this to work. I had the printer working for a bit when I uninstalled the app and ran it through windows, but my Internet settings have changed, can't set the printer up without the app, I've tried, and I'm refusing to spend hours on this getting angry, so the printers in the bin, and I'm free of hp products forever! Don't buy anything made by hp is my advice, terrible products, terrible company, terrible customer service, I've been putting up with it for years, freedom at last!!!
I bought a HP OfficeJet Pro 9014e
I bought a HP OfficeJet Pro 9014e, 2 years ago. It didn’t work on installation and required a lengthy remote exchange and new cartridges. This printer works on HP Instant Ink which is a great idea but the problem is the same normal ink supplies- replacement. Working fine until it stopped and requested replacement cartridges (already received). It doesn’t recognise its own cartridges. This printer is used regularly but not a high rate. It’s very disappointing because it prints, copies and scans (document feeder). It should be straightforward. HP’s support is by WhatsApp which is good but no fix currently despite them sending a new black cartridge (the supposed culprit) which is not recognised by the printer. Have asked for a replacement printer…
just horrible
just horrible, doesn't work, can't add printer, doesn't troubleshoot. Spent hours trying to get my HP printer to work, round in endless circles and a waste of time
HP ink trial harmful to the planet
Offered a free ink trial with my new HP printer. I’ve ended the trial and I’ve been told all the spare print cartridges won’t work. Not environmentally friendly HP!

I am cussing mad can't even print and have a lot of work to do. My bill is paid every month. How about y'all do y'alls work and make sure the ink cartridge works. Y'all suck
Instant Ink is the worst system
Instant Ink is the worst system you could use. I paid it more than a year now and barely printed anything. Then I cancelled it recently and I learned that I can't even use the cartridges I got with the subscription despite I paid way more than the cartridges I got from the subscription.
Utter Rubbish
Only giving it '1' star so I can write this review. All I can say is 'total, utter, rubbish'. How you can't get to use a printer fully unless you use an app, which either won't recognise the printer, won't connect, or prints out with weird settings that I can't change without getting into the app is beyond me. I eventually connected using an ethernet cable. Problem solved ? No ! .... I can't get the settings changed when eventually it does print because you have to do it through the app. Both mine and my daughter's Deskjet printers are coming with me to the local charity shop. Too many apps these days. I've had enough !

For some time I have suspected that HP Smart print history may be allegedly fiddled somehow --anyhow I have been away for a while returning today. One page printed and it shows up 9 right on the end of the period --only talking of £1.50 but not able to get anywhere on the totally useless chat bot --not good really -anyone else with a similar experience please xx ? If this is happening a lot then quite a nice earner for HP ??
HP Smart? Don't Make Me Laugh!
HP Smart... Don't make laugh. I have spent the last three days trying to get this fancy new all bells and whistles hp "smart" program to recognise my hp printer. Everything worked absolutely fine until these idiots "retired" Print and Scan Doctor. Now I can't even get a print out of a test page! I can "fix" these problems if go online and tried understanding guidance notes worthy of a computer sciences thesis! Whatever happened to straightforward "click this link and we'll guide you through this minefield of verbal diarrhea." Fix This Hewlett Packard. Or See More Complaints Like Mine. Total Pants!
very disapointing
after years of using HP ink i was enticed to try their printer package. I was very, very disappointed. The printer was a Envy 6100e. It was very hard to setup and would drop it's wifi connection within a hour and made no attempt to reconnect. Support at HP tried to fix the problem. The IT used the same protocol repeatedly but it never did fix the problem. The printer continued to lose wifi conection and every time and I mean every time I tried to print it would be off line. HP refused to call the printer defective and I have it packed back in its box They finally canceled the subscription. After hours on the phone, I am awaiting a shipping label to return.
HP Smart is nothing but DIM
HP Smart is nothing but DIM. There is no way you can find where it is connected to, how to reset, search for other wifi sources and connect? Beyond hopeless and an absolute wste of time. I suspect it because they want you tied in.. and if you speka to anyone they erroneously tell you its because you have virus etc and want hundreds of pounds to fix first.
Its hopeless
Its hopeless, not clear where to go and passed from team to team to have a monotone response that I dont have an issue. I do and would not spend an hour on the phone, web for fun...

Totally give up trying to arrange the correct power lead , knowing I'm in the uk they sent a lead for usa , ask really stupid questions like they don't want to do there job , always wait a minute then someone finally replies over an hour later , I WILL NEVER PUFCHASE OFF THEM AGAIN , angrily frustrated with incompetent people
Absolutely awful software…
Absolutely awful software in about every category. Its clunky and slower than my 20 year old laptop. I cant for the life of me figure out how to scan something even while hardwired. This is the worst printer experience I have ever had.
Unreliable and expensive
Unreliable printing with fees left and right. Printer is useless after you cancel the plan, I've tried non-instaink cartridges I've bought, and it still says I need to renew subscription to use my printer.
Pain in the ass to install
Pain in the ass to install. There is no physical hook up, requiring me to download an app, set up an account, and do it wirelessly. Then after all is set and done, more often than not, the app on my computer tells me the printer is offline and will not print. I've spent hours trying multiple fixes, to no avail. On a hunch, I downloaded the app on my phone and can print from there. Now I have to perform extra steps to get the file I need onto my phone (if even possible) in order to print it. My suggestion: Have a damn cable connection as an option. Just a simple USB would have avoided all of this headache. I've had this printer less than a year and am already contemplating tossing it for a more reliable brand.
Printer SUCKS for printing labels
Printer SUCKS for printing labels. I constantly have issues with it and I shouldn't have to continuously jump through hoops to be able to print the way I need it to. I could go into detail about all of the issues I have had and money I have wasted but I'll spare you a novel of a review. Short and simple, DO NOT GET ITS A WASTE OF YOU TIME AND MONEY.
Hp printer always of off line
Hp printer always of off line. I can getnit to work, next day is of off line again. Hp smart sucks. Have 2 all in one desktop tops and 2 hp printers getting ready to hit them with a baseball bat! Dont buy hp products...
