Scammed me out of $50 for Merrell hiking shoes. After 2 months and no shoes I complained, even told them I needed them or my money as I just lost my job. Said they would refund, later received an email refund notice but no money was refunded. F U scammers at ewantic "shop" Guess Im partly to blame for not looking into it and seeing they were coming from China. RED flag right there. Wish I could leave negative stars. I am going to start posting warnings everywhere online about these fraudsters.

Total ripoff

Total ripoff. Ordered Merrill shoes but got cheap pair of shoes that did not even look like Merrill shoes. I contacted ewantics and they refused to correct the problem. The person I contacted pretended that they did not know what happened but would not refund my money.

Counterfeit Merrell's

Unfortunately this system doesn't allow a zero review. That is actually more than they deserve. The "Merrell" shoes were cheap molded plastic crap. This company needs to be prosecuted for selling counterfeit goods. I, too, went through the email thread of offers for some percentage of the cost returned, beginning at 15% and then going to 25% and 40%. I wrote them this was not acceptable. No response in a couple of weeks. My bank has halted payment and I am registering a complaint with FB, the BBB, and Attorney General. They should not be allowed to conduct business in the US and they should be prosecuted for fraud and conterfeiting.

Same story with me

Same story with me. Cheap knock-off instead of the Merrell's... one size too large... offered me %15 of my original purchase price of $50. The least we can do is keep sending emails to them, everyday, four or five times a day, not that this company is going to respond to any degree of "guilt" they may feel. Ha.

Same story as others about the Merrell…

Same story as others about the Merrell Moab II shoes. Got the DQ cheap shoes for $49.99. I had other items on the order for total of $120 paid with Paypal, which I thought would give me some protection. Shoes were crap, shorts too small, belt was really nice - but $120 a lot to pay for a nice belt. Initial complaint to ewanticshop *@* outlook.com was met with a 25% refund offer for the lot. I asked for 50% and got no reply. Started dispute with Paypal asking for 50% and got offer to return all to China for full refund. Found parcelmonkey.com to ship shoes back to China for $40 after signing up for Paypal refund of shipping (will reimburse $30 of return shipping cost). Gave shorts to my son and wear the belt regularly. Waiting on shoes to get back to China....

FAKE

FAKE, SCAM & FRAUD Asian store.
As with prior reviews, wish I'd seen this first.
Just as with YoLucy.com, they take our money for Merrell Moab 2 hiking shoes, & send $2 sweat shop plastic crap.
Reported to BBB et al for bait & switch/false advertising practices.

Was served up ad to buy Merrel Moab at $49.99 so took the bait and ordered. They were delivered in a zip lock bag! These shoes look really low in quality probably a fake knock off . They are one size to big and they will not refund my money or exchange them. I will go to my CC company to file dispute. Received a email from Yi Michael stating the cost are to high to return and can only refund me 15% . Seems like company located in China do not order from this company ! scam and Fake

Same situation here

Same situation here. I would like to know what other people are doing. Did you ask your Credit Card for a refund? Can you do it even if you actually receive the fake product? Any other option to get my money back? Thanks!

Do not purchase from Ewanticshop.com!

I wish I had read these reviews before purchasing from these charlatans. As many of these reviews have noted - I was served advertising regarding a Merrell Moab Ventilator low-top hiking shoe on Instagram. What wasn’t to love? A $100.00 retail shoe being sold for $49.99? Maybe Ewanticshop.com had gotten hold of some excess inventory.

Nope. While my e-mail correspondence and tracking all noted I ordered the Merrell shoe - and Merrell themselves are a very high quality and trustworthy brand - what arrived at my home was a comical fake, a knockoff done so poorly I was immediately on my e-mail to the company asking for a full refund.

Since then, I have gone back and forth with a “Michael Yi” from the company, who has thus far refused to make a promise of a full guarantee and has been trying to shirk responsibility for sending me product I did not order.

I will be calling my bank to try and get full restitution, as I hold little hope Ewanticshop.com will act with any business ethics whatsoever.

Same bait-and-switch experiences

Same bait-and-switch experiences. Ordered Merrell and got DQ (Dairy Queen? Could be from the quality of the shoe construction.) I should have realized that something was up when I did not receive a confirming email after the purchase from the company. When the purchase did not show, I assumed no order had been finalized. When it eventually showed a month later, there was no name of the company on the return label and there was no invoice documentation in the package. They therefore leave you no trail back to them other than the credit card charge. I stopped the charge immediately.

Their site says "Powered by Shopify." Maybe they just stuck that on (probably), but I wonder if Shopify can just go and shut them down.

Even their phone number is phony!

First, how does this have 2.3 stars when all 10 previous reviews gave it only 1 star? I bought from a company that claims they are based in California, which has strict consumer laws. It was when my wife asked about an international charge on my cc that I researched. Even their 833 (800#) is bogus, for that site as well as another of their's that I found. If you research their website it is Chinese with suspicious locations. I immediately cancelled my order and then cancelled that credit card. DON'T BUY!
