Ignore the 5 star testimonials!
The 5 star testimonials on their website are not a true reflection of how this company operates. We ordered a skip 4 days in advance and were told that one was available. At about 3pm on the day it was due, after waiting in all day, we got a phone call to say that they were unable to deliver it until 10am the following day. We had someone coming at 8am to start loading it up! After numerous phone calls they agreed to get one to us before 5pm that day, which they did.
The hardest part was getting them to remove it from our drive when we'd done. It took 3 phone calls and 2 weeks to get rid of it. Will not use again nor will we recommend.

We began our kitchen renovation by ordering an 8-yard skip, which we quickly filled.
When the skip was due for collection, the company contacted me to confirm the pickup. During the conversation, we mentioned that we would need another, smaller skip, though we weren’t quite ready for it. To accommodate their logistics, we agreed to take the skip earlier than needed. They assured us that, since it was a quiet time of year for them, keeping the skip for an extended period wouldn’t be an issue.
Despite this understanding, the company later collected the half-empty replacement skip without any notice—unlike with the previous skip—claiming that the responsibility was on us to know when it would be taken.
As a goodwill gesture, they offered us another skip with a £20 discount, which felt more like an empty token than genuine compensation.
This experience left me feeling misled, especially with no call—unlike before for the previous skip —while they shifted the goalposts from that promised. TO me it appears a deliberate attempt to engineer its operations for unjust enrichment.

Unprofessional company
Unprofessional company, after taking cash on delivery the skip hire company took the skip without prior warning only 2 days later after delivery, even though the skip was well below the level load limit (only 1/3 filled). When ordering I was specifically told I could have the skip for 14 days or I could call them to have it collected earlier if I wanted.
Thinking this collection was a mistake, I called them to try and resolve the matter. Customer service were talking to me with a very rude tone, then eventually they tried to make me order another skip with a slight discount. I explained I only needed 1 skip and did not require 2, why should I be expected to pay almost £450 for 2 skips at my own expense when it was their fault to begin with? They continued to be very rude and did not admit fault at all, furthermore they tried to accuse me of having a full skip and calling for it to be collected! After showing them proof of the almost empty skip they pointed to their terms and conditions and said "we are allowed to take the skip whenever we want" and basically fobbed me off.
This company literally stole my £240 as they did not provide a service they advertised, in addition to this, I had booked laborers to fill the skip, so lost out on that, and then having the bad experience of dealing with the thuggish behaviour of the customer service.
After this experience, I would definitely not recommend this company and I am also very doubtful of the positive reviews on here.
If you do decide to order from them, do so at your own risk and be prepared to lose out.

The worst skip company I've ever used. Arrived way after the delivery time booked and they tried to charge extra for everything you could imagine. I've been in the building trade a long long time and this lot are the worst. DONT BOOK A SKIP WITH THIS LOT !
Got the skip on the day as promised
Got the skip on the day as promised. Asked when it will be picked up got told will get a text. Got text and said pick up 23rd but the app would not work so had to ring. They said they will collect. It's still here and now getting fly tippers. They say if I load it over the line I have to pay an extra 100 quid, I took picture of it when I said I needed it taken so if it's over filled it because they have not collected. It's now the 26th and a bank holiday Monday due.

Worked full time for these .gave them 3 weeks notice the boss begged me to stay 2 days books sat cash .I was happy then qs soon as he got a driver capable of 75 percent load I did daily sacked me of with two chimdren.scummy folk who are bothered about there pockets only.as soon as they were sorted with a driver left me out to dry.pay cash in hand disrespectful to there staff. If you got bk at 4.30 after a long day they'd deduct 30 mins wage instead of appreciating the work we'd done that day earned them.anyway id not wrk for heartless folk so told aj the boss .basically there skips are solid but overpriced 300 8 yards etc.
Diabolical
No sense of service. The skip was hired by our builder who has also spoken to them twice. We have rung 5 times and despite this it's now 3 weeks and it's still here. We have been lied to about collection times. Incompetent management who will offer you nothing but fake apologies, but no actual help. This really is a shambolic company who you should avoid like the plague. Why take the risk,especially when there are so many outfits to choose from.

I made the boss upset because I didn’t have enough cash to pay so they took back the skip i asked driver can i pay with card he didn’t bother they supposed to come in the morning and i pay labour for nothing

My first choice for skip hire.
I have used EFR skips over the last few years while construction has been on going at my property.
They have constantly proved to be reliable and punctual.All the staff from the booking of the skip to its delivery are always friendly and accomodating.The drivers are professional and courteous and always take great care when depositing the skip both with my own property and with any concerns that may arise from neighbours.
I have no hesitation in recommending this company.They never let me down throughout the pandemic and always went the extra mile to find a skip avaliable on the day and time i requested( even at short notice)despite the demand they obviously encountered and the difficulties they faced throughout this time.
I can not thank them enough.
