I invested in a Sealey LS450H Log Splitter Foot Operated - Horizontal from Craigmore

It's brilliant, I'm far safer using it than an axe!!

Took a bit of getting used to / confidence in use etc, however, splitting our logs down has really improved their '🔥burning🔥' efficiency too :-)

The better seasoned / more dry the logs the easier the split too :-)

This is indicated by far less black ash and charcoal(ish) lumps left when the log burner is sometimes left to burn out overnight.

In addition the stove top fans are really helping to circulate the 🔥🔥 around our 3 bedroomed bungalow, so much so as the oil fired central hearing is off more to :-)

There is a saving in itself..

The welding helmet came without the headgear. I had to email several times but eventually it arrived to complete the $525 sale. It’s located in the UK but I did receive daily emails to update me.
