This hosting website is a scam!!! I made the mistake of recommending this server host to a friend because it had the best price for the hardware. There were issues with the server from the start & customer service is incredibly slow to reply to any tickets.

The first issue they stated was on their end, they had a hardware issue and finally they fixed it so we were able to play. Then they double charged my friend for a month, and support takes DAYS to message back for a double charge. This is over $100+! STILL trying to work with customer support & they just go and delete our Ark server! No refund yet!

This place is a scam and I regret ever recommending it. Hopefully they make it right but we'll see I guess. For now I recommend going with another website.

blackbox Servers are reliable, I use them all the time. Very professional, and easy to use interface. All the things you need to manage and run your server is here at blackbox hosting. If you want a good server with full 100% control, go with these guys. They are very kind too.

Absolutely love this company. Amazing fast setup, great servers very little lag for my DayZ server. Big step up from last hosting company that I lost all my money on. Would recommend this hosting company for sure.

Purchased a Valheim server that was supposed to be instant. They respond with shadey responses, it was not instant - in fact never delivered. Trying to get a refund and having to go through paypal disputes after they agreed to refund. Site seems like a scam. "Escalating to manager" seems to be their copy pasta response. Steer clear.

Started using Blackbox a few years ago to host games. Was my favorite server host site. Last 2 instances the game server was a horrible experience, to everyone that played on it. I cancelled the last game server after a few hours, maybe 8, because of a lag in gameplay experienced by all players. No refund, not going to make a big fuss over it. I'm just not using this host anymore.

I rented Arma 3 server from them and everything went so easy and simple, i didnt encounter any problems, got my server and invited my friends and we spent an enjoyable time there. They are very trusted and cool guys, probably gonna rent servers from them again in other games.

VERY very unacceptable reliability service for gaming servers. The server goes down multiple times a day and apparently no one seems to notice this. You then have to put in a trouble ticket which someone might get to sometime that day. They have killed my service well before my paid to date, I am not allowed to review or download any of the logs for my server. So many other gaming services to choose from and I am done with these fools. The service is cheap for a reason and I will be and have been happy to pay more for better service at a different company. Just heard back, they cancelled it early because they said I requested an immediate cancellation, funny I put in the cancellation on August 10th and opted for it to end when my paid in full subscription ends on August 21st, server was still working August 15th at 2:00am. I have screen shots of the cancellation. So they can't even cancel a service correctly, no doubt I made the right choice. I see those very positive reviews are from the customers wanting that $5.00 credit to the account. Not worth it IMO

Unacceptable 48 hours and I still have an unplayable game server. Support is lost on the issue. Tech is blaming the game. Server doesn't save progress or restart. Took more than the 24hr refund time period to see the server wasn't working properly. Trying for a refund for a quarterly subscription on an expensive upgraded machine.

They may know Ark server hosting but they are utterly lost with Arma 3. Stay very far away.

I had a thousand times better experience with one of the worst rated server hosts there is.

Doubtful this will be resolved at this point but if it is, I'll change this review to reflect the outcome.

I've got nothing but good things to say about Blackbox. Servers are fast and reliable and customer service is top notch. Will be using them for all my hosting needs.

love this company they are always helpful when in need and in a timely manor, would 10/10 recommend to anyone hosting game servers theres really nothing bad i can say about this company

i have used alot of hosting companies over the years and when ever i have had server issues the one thing i could always count on was a reply 3-4 days later,i was really surprised when with black box i was relied to in a very short time 15 mins to a hour at the most,the pricing is incredible ,thats what had me skeptical of them at first was the fact that i could get a large slot server to play on for next to nothing ,now let me tell you about the servers them selves there fast and stable (even if the games i run on em are not sometimes lol)black box is quick to get info out to us customers about fixes or issues i would highly recommend them

Can't recall how I came across BlackBox Servers. But I was fed up with the lack of support and empty promises from other GSPs.

I'm glad I did though. I have never waited more than a few hours for a reply from a support rep. They also stick to their promises!

The TCAdmin control panel is the best in the industry, hands down!
Options we could only dream about from other hosts. Automated backups, automated log archiving, generous list of one click installs.

Randy Pearce, and Randy Pelton, have really gone the extra mile for us. So much so, that we now have 4 servers with this company.

At one point we were asking for a refund, then they moved us onto a different machine and even matched the price of our old host! Fantastic.
No server lag yet, hopefully stays this way :)

I have a Conan Exiles server with them and it's great. Have no issues, great up time, great speed. There's a group of about seven of us playing on the server, with mods installed and we're having a grand time. Super easy to set up and maintain the server. They give you everything so you can just get to gaming. I would highly recommend them!

Easy server setup, any mission details or mods you could want are already in place. Almost everything is just a 1 click install. Its reall pretty impressive. Great C-panel setup. Super smooth and easy to understand.

First off great customer service, with fast ticket response. Almost full access to your server with .dll upload ability (one you have permissions for them, nothing but a simple ticket), stable servers. Just remeber to restart at least 4 times a day(7DTD) as is is a resource using game that leaves alot of fragments behind. Set me restart time to 4 hours, Use CBSM to give warning messages and NEVER have a lag problem. and a really great and user friendly control panel. Really fair price for what they give you! Customer Service is really patient also. (hint, if your ticket responder just quite doesnt understand what your saying, just ask for a tech to look at the ticket.. BOOM done without further delay!) Really loving this company!!

These guys made it easy for someone with little experience to figure out how to setup and maintain a server. The user interface is intuitive and easy to understand.
