I ordered a pair of Timberland Britton Road Mid Chelsea Boots in EU size 43.5. I have purchased several of these boots before over the years and the size used to be perfect. This time the size 43.5 was extremely tight across the ankle and almost impossible to put on, which meant I had to take them to a shoemaker for fitting. The packaging, information and transport were impeccable, but the production of these shoes has obviously changed significantly.

I had a great experience with Bergfreund.se. They offer premium products at great prices and deliver very quickly. My first jacket was a bit too big, just as their size guide had warned, but the return process was seamless and hassle-free. Customer service was helpful, and my new size arrived promptly with DHL/PostNord logistics to Sweden. Overall, an excellent shopping experience—I’ll definitely shop here again!
High return costs
Having a swedish web address and communicating in swedish with you, the shop gives the impression to serve Swedish customers in the same way as Swedish shop would do. But you wake up when you have to return something and have to pay nine euros for a pair of shoes to be returned. Customer service is absolutely unfriendly. Never again.

Promising 4-6 days of delivery. After 6 days the product was not sent. Drawing money directly when I order. When order is cancelled the money has not been refunded after 5 days!

Great experience
I was a bit exceptical after seeing the reviews about the delivery here, but I have had an amazing experience. I ordered on a Friday, was shipped on Monday and delivered Friday. Everything was in perfect condition, the holds are the best quality I have and they have been keeping me informed of every stage of the process. I will order again from them and recommend everyone to do so.
CHECK RETURN POLICY
Good delivery service and products but please read the returns policy before you buy. Even if they send the wrong item or if thr product doesn't fit. You will be charged €9.95 euros for a return slip. You are not provided with a return label with your packages. You also need to pay the cost of the shipping back. This is a get out from this company receiving returns often. It's in the policy so they are covered. Although I ordered the wrong size. It will cost me more to return. My own fault for not checking the small print.
Took 8 days to leave warehouse, won't communicte but send random excuses.
On the 30th of May I order a few items that were in stock, and are in stock, with estimated delivery with 6-8 days. Now, 7 days later, they've not yet shipped the order or communicated any issues. It's completely their responsibility to contact the customer to inform of any issues and to be transparent about the process.
I can't be certain yet why they are not being transparent ... But, It is a common pattern with failing companies that they either delay orders or sell items as "in stock" when they aren't. This makes the customer their personal interest-free bank for short-term capital.
If this isn't true they should be motivated to communicate with their customers. They would also have written up their estimated delivery time, to let say 15-30 days or what their actual delivery time is.
You are wasting my time!
Edit: 8 days later and they've booked the shipping but not yet shipped. They also came back to me with "Please note that bulky items may take longer to be delivered as they are packed manually.". It's not very transparent to claim 6-8 days shipping and then add ~10 days on items that your automated system can't handle. If you were transparent about this I would've gone to another shop ... Fool me once ... This is not how you get returning customers.
Edit2: Order arrived after 11 day, much because the Swedish postal service was exceptionally quick and also delivered on a Saturday. I'll give them another star, but can't really give them more than two considering their way of "communicating". They've not replied to any of my questions but at two times sent some random excuses. It became obvious when they send me this AFTER they must have already shipped the order:
"Good news: We have received your order.
However, we regret to inform you that the delivery of some orders is currently delayed due to technical problems and your package is affected.
Our logistics team is doing its utmost to get your order on its way as quickly as possible. We therefore ask for your understanding and patience."

Ordered 2 crash pads from this website. Delivery time said 5-7 business days. It's been almost 3 weeks and there is no tracking number and no additional information on where my order is or when it could get here. Not the best experience. Still wondering if my product will get here or if I got scammed.

Fast delivery, Fair price … but if you need to return your item it is No longer cheap:-(
I bought a down jacket with no possibility to return it. Shipping from Sweden is almost sek 300 and if they do not accept the defect i have to pay another sek 300.
The good price is only if you do not need to return it.
So much better to buy in store or online locally.

Customer support seems to be not existing. No information on order, impossible to get through via telefon. If mail you request a 2-4 days handling time...
Order part with a delivery time of 5-7 days. Now more has passed and not a single indication what is ongoing.

So so bad. Prices are changes when you try to order shoes on sale. Sales are suddenly diseappearing when you add an item to the basket and it seems that this shop is using a kind of algorithm to increase the price before you place your order. I contacted the support and showed them the screenshot of the shoes on sale but they were not willing to help. It happens 2 times with two different shoes models and will never order something to that shop that is playing with customers...
My advice, order as quick as possible and DO NOT WAIT if you want to get the price on sale...
Answer to the answer below: The answer below is wrong. I had screenshot and sent them all to the customer support. I also phone them but they did nothing as answered below. No way to decrease the prices at all

Theese were a disappointment for hiking…
Theese were a disappointment for hiking , the seam between the legs was cutting into the skin very hard, So hard that it made it sore and wasnt able to walk or wear them at all in the end of our 10 day hiking.
We solved it by adding a ladypad so we could continue the hike. Will never use theese again sadly because of this. tried them several times att home as well with the same result afterwards.

Very bad return processing.
Bergfreunde sent me shoes that had a manufacturing fault. Bergfreunde accepted the return. I saw that DHL had delivered the return at Bergfreunde in the end of April, but it took over a month for Bergfreunde to verify my return. In total, it took 6 weeks to get this simple return solved completely from start to end.

B.F should put a return option with package. This would have put them amongst the 4-5 rate I buy from. Otherwise, nice to contact, nice treat in generally and a good selection of (some times) good value for the money.

This is a big disadvantage with on line shopping. I would prefer to shop from a UK supplier as they generally give a better description unfortunately we now get hit with hefty customs charges when buying from the UK because of the EU hopefully Sweden will leave the EU and then we will get hassle free shopping from UK suppliers again.
Better illustrations and photos of products would help.

If you make a mistake they will not stop the order or change it just charge you for sending it back when it arrives unopened.
