My first 18 months experience... problem after problem
bought a spa in november 2023 for 13.000 euro, due to late delivery it was installed in februari 2024. Shortly after delivery we found out that the Spaboy was:
- slightly damaged during transport, and
- not working properly, and was sending wrong messages (Ph was high, while actually it was low, the same with the chloride level) now is it March 24 and still no repair, as the replacement part still did not arrive.
First it was 5 days to replace, tham 10, 15 etc. Although the local dealer is doin his best, Arctic Spa let him and me stand in the cold.
So after complaing to Arctic informed me last monday (March 19) that they found a solution nu UPS. The local dealer told me that in 24/48 hours the replacement would arrive. Now 5 days later …. Still no replacement.
In the meantime the inside of the spa feels like sand paper, full with calcium scale, I could not even clean it from the chrome parts.
Althought the local dealer checks the water condition now and than we do not use it at all.
My wife who wanted the spa in the first place does nor come near it again, as after a few baths we both smelled like showering in pure chloride, and our skin was irritated.
Arctic informed us the Spa was working properly after leaving the production line. So that is apparently the Arctic quality, as from installation it did not work.
We lost completely all fun in the Spa. And I never regretted a purchase so much as this one.
Friends who bought much cheaper hot tub (7.200 euro) receive much better service, maybe the quality is less according to Arctic, their spa is functioning while mine not. And to be honest I would like to put fire to the terrible thing.

Update April 24th.
The replacement part is installed end of March. We have not used the Spa yet as we are not in Spain, but now the app seems to function properly.
Although arctic spa seems to have fixed the problem, I would not advice to buy this spa, it took almost 2 months to replace the broken part of a new spa. This is simply not acceptable. For us it took all the fun out of our new SPA. Maybe in Canada it is a different story, but for Europe as long as they do not reorganize their service chain, they should not sell.
Update July 2nd. I must write after the long taking repair the Spa is much better to use. We do not smell anymore for a full day after chloride. So the fun is slowly returning, and the headache of this bad start fades slowly away..... but then..... the error codes start: (June 11th) ER14: Orp Not Responding to Production (ORP_NR), it seems the spa boy sensor is not responding to the production of choloride......
Ok I call the dealer and he comes by to solve the problem. Nice we can use it again.
Two weeks later: ER14: Orp Not Responding to Production (ORP_NR), again!
Well lets see how this soap will continue....
Update October 2025:
End of 2024 the light in the cupholder was containing water and did not work anymore.
After 3 months the light was repaired.
20 October 2025, we want to go intoe the SPA, but is was HALF EMPTY!!!
The SPA is leaking!!!! the water is now inside the SPA with all the machinery.
Canadian quality, its a complete disaster.
