Very friendly and go the extra mile

Very friendly and go the extra mile. Having bought our cars from next door, we have found ourselves using Albion test centre for our mots as recommended. They will always do there best to help out - even when I forgot my mot expired they stayed open late to mot my car. Many thanks to Martin and Sharon

Dangerous Workmanship, no Follow up.

Booked my Car in for new springs and rear shocks at a Albion Test Center in Burton last thursday. supplied what i thought was everything they needed, new mounts, shocks, springs etc.

Dropped the car off 9am Thursday morning.
''Well give you a shout when its ready''
5pm Thursday: ''cars not ready, we been super busy and havnt had chance.''
No issue, i said, they told me it would be done Friday.

5pm Friday. ''Had a few problems, some rusty bits on the suspension needed replaceing/repairing. ideally you need to replace some support washer parts'', but its 5pm on a friday, so no chance of getting new ones. Not their fault, although if they looked at the car on thursday when it was booked in, they would have had another day to sort it. Is what it is.

they told me they would try n sort it somehow, ready for satdy morning.

No worrys i said, appreciate the help.

Called Satdy morning, ''cars ready, come down and get it. ''
I collect half an hour later, and notice on the way home a few rattles etc. Had to pop back to anyway, as the bill was a little higher than expected, and didnt bring enough cash. 8 hours labour.

Spoke with the mechanic about the rattles, told it was probably the ARB links creaking as the car is now lower (lowering springs) so probably needs either new ones, or adjustable.

No problem i thought, can live with that and get some adjustable ones. (bare in mind had same car previously. no issues with same lowering kit, didnt need any adjustable ARB links or anything)

Was cleaning the engine bay, as it was abit tatty, and noticed one of the top mount bolts was loose on the front.

can happen i suppose, quick tighten up, job done.
after driving the car a couple more times, noticed a few more rattles, somethings not right.

I get home, jack the car up, to find ALL, thats ALL the rear suspension bolts (anything touched in order to replace shocks) FINGER tight on both sides.
In shock, i tighten everything up, test the car, No more knocking from the rear.
still its knocking from the front left....At this point, i can see where this is going, Jack up again, front wheel off, front ARB support brackets all finger tight.

spent 2 hours retightening their half arsed handywork as they had cross threaded one of the bolts.. Classic 5.30 on a friday afternoon job.

Issues sorted, no more knocking, still needs tracking but thats expected.

Phone the garage monday morning, spoke to the lad, he agreed that was pretty bad, and said he would speak to the boss, and call me back.

I have had zero call back, clearly not an issue for them.

Dangerous sub par work from Albion this weekend, i have a 4 year old riding in that car with me that weekend, and the suspension bolts finger tight....
