This is the third time we have had to use Green Flag who sent A1 Recovery and I cannot praise them enough! Nathan once again came to the rescue within the hour and tried to do a temporary fix on my water pipe to get me home but decided it was safer to tow the car back to my home. As the garage we regularly use was closed until Monday, he advised me to make arrangements for the work to be done and then contact A1 (via Green Flag) again to tow the car to the garage as it was within the maximum mileage limit. Friendly, knowledgeable and thorough. Very grateful for all his help and highly recommend them! 👌😊

So after major problems with my pathfinder they recovered it took it back for me have worked on it finding some of the faults with it and really gone above and beyond doing all they can to help not just providing a great service but going the extra mile. They are all super friendly and helpful would definitely recommend as your first port of call ! Thanks everyone at A1 !

Abysmal.

The RAC used these clowns to attend to recover my motorcycle back home. Turned up with an inappropriate vehicle for a motorcycle. Didn't take proper care and damaged the bike.

My advice would be to send them packing if they turn up.

From ringing A1 recovery was very helpful.
Needed 2 tyres for my van as Self-employment.
Was with me quickly & very helpful in recommending tyres that’s best for me.
I gave 5 star as we’ll deserved.

Amazing service
My friend recommended A1 when my car broke down and I couldn’t get it into gear on a roundabout. The service and helpfulness of the staff was outstanding and they even took me out for several drives to ensure I felt happy about driving the car as I was so nervous in case the issue reoccurred. They talked me through the issue in detail and explained what to do. They were clearly not there to rip me off and said they wouldn’t do any work that they didn’t think it needed. Would highly recommend them.

Having had a traumatic and dangerous time broken down on the A27, Mark of A1 Recovery came to our rescue and that of our AC Cobra.
He was not just a very welcome sight, but an exceptionally nice chap. Had specialist equipment that the car needed and went way over and beyond in getting us home to London but also in helping to man handle the car into its garage when we got here.
Can not recommend more highly.

There is no professionalism at this company from top to bottom.
Absolutely no notification given that my car was being towed despite the fact that I was home.
Have been increasingly targeted since refusing bald minion tow truck dude's advances. It's normal for tow trucks to patrol the park, it's not normal for them to park 3 to 4 hours each shift. In the middle of the day, he goes into the office and chats with both managers, both women of age to be in his dating pool you know? Then in the middle of the night, there he is again parked in the street in front of the manager's house.

Today he rolled down the window and made inappropriate statements as he passed my trailer. When I called to report him to his manager, I was told to get an injunction and go f*** myself.

Also, I was told when my car was towed that it is cash only. I had to have exact change.
They owe me $6, you can't just round up.

Filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau which they have an F rating with

After a minor accident the rac sent out the recovery vehicle, the gentleman was really nice, put us at our ease and loaded our car onto his truck

This is truly a tale of 2 halves. Their price was extremely competitive and they turned up when they said and tried to deliver. Great half.
Unfortunately the garage to deliver to was unexpectedly closed so they took it back to their compound after the driver advised there was absolutely nowhere they could leave the car?!?!
I then asked them to leave the car parked up outside their compound as I did not want storage charges. The other garage then went around to work on the car to be told they could not have access to it as it is in their compound?!?!
I asked A1 why it wasn't outside to which I was told 'I must have forgot'
So a really disappointing end to a great start. However, they did say they werent going to charge me storage fees?!?!
So the big question is, should you use them. Yes, so long as the delivery is problem free otherwise there could be issues.
