Terrible service

First time using designer rooms
First time using designer rooms. Went in at August and ordered a dining table with a bench and 4 chairs. We where completely aware chairs will be delayed. That's not a hassle atall. We accepted that. Dealings where great making order in-store. Paid deposit and where told the table and beck would be ready towards end of September. We where happy with that and asked if we could delay it slightly as we where moving into a new home on the 2nd of October. They said yes no problem we can hold items at the warehouse for a short period. Excellent. Meant we could have it delivered after we move. Got text on 27th August saying we had to pay the rest and book delivery slot for the partial delivery of table and bench. Went back in-store. Paid for the rest and then booked for the day after we moved the 3rd of October. Perfect as work was being carried out including moving one of the kitchen lights to sit above the dining table. Tradesmen including electrician where in that hole day and would work perfect. Delivery driver called and said he was on his way. They arrived with a bench. No table. What good is a bench with no table to sit at. We rejected the bench as it was useless. Spoke to DR and they said the table was no longer there and would be end of October. Not a good experience. I'm now left with a hole in my ceiling and need to pay an electrician and joiner to come back and move the light and patch the ceiling once it arrives. If it ever does. feel like going in and getting a refund and going elsewhere. Was supposed to be a nice treat going to designer rooms. chairs will be December but we where fully aware they would be delayed. We where not told whatsoever that table would be almost a month after we moved. Pay over the odds in a shop to have good service and you get messed about. Not only that we will be out of pocket more paying for tradesmen again. Will not use them again.

Hi, the showroom advised you were looking for a partial delivery of what was in stock, which was the bench only. We are sorry if the showroom did not inform you with regards to what goods were in stock and what was on order.

Absolute joke of a company

Absolute joke of a company. Made order in August to be delivered by 12th October. Complete bedroom furniture kitout , 2 ottoman beds and mattresses and a large sideboard so a substantial order. I was moving to a new home and the bedroom furniture and 1 of the beds was for daughters room. I got email saying there's a delay on one of the beds and it was now going to be late November. I said that's fine of you can send the rest out on time. They refused and said all items have to be sent together. I explained that the order is being delayed due to their issues, my daughter needs a a bed. She's now sleeping on a blow up bed for 2 weeks. They let me change the colour of the bed to one in stock but they had to cancel it from original order and create a new separate order for the bed in it's new colour. That was booked for delivery today 16th October. Partner took the day off work and we heard nothing , I sent an email and got a phone call telling me it's not out for delivery. What the actual f***. As for the original order I was told it's in stock back when dealing with the bed issue and would get a booking link soon. Took nearly two weeks of delays and numerous emails to finally get it booked for next week. Whilst on the phone I asked if they can just send today's order along with it since I'm recieving a big delivery already. Nope. Had to be booked separately. So that's now 2 weeks away. Absolutely terrible company. Avoid like the plague.

I also noticed show they take the time to respond to the 5 star reviews and not acknowledge the negative ones. Nothing like putting your hands up and accepting your poor effort.
