Lovely cottage and location
Lovely, unique property in a beautiful village. The cottage is cosy and well-equipped, and there was a very generous welcome basket waiting for us, which was lovely. The views from the lounge are gorgeous, and the Hocking's ice cream van parks up right outside, which is a definite plus! We've stayed in Appledore many times, but never at this property. The cottage has a lot of history, a lot of which was available to read in the welcome pack. The location is great, only a short walk from pretty much everything in the village. The only thing that might be off-putting for some is the fact that it's right next door to a pub. There can be some noise from there, but nothing too drastic (at least, we found that to be the case out of season).
