The so-called “renowned” Lufthansa service is unfortunately nothing like what they advertise. Flights are constantly canceled or delayed, and the customer service is not only unhelpful but also shockingly incompetent and unwilling to actually assist. The standard responses are always the same: “not my problem,” “you can find that information on the website,” or “we apologize for the inconvenience,” without understanding even 1% of the seriousness of certain situations.
If you are charging ticket prices that sometimes feel like buying a car, the least you could do is provide the quality of service you claim to offer. Lufthansa should take a serious look at how other airlines manage to treat their customers with professionalism and respect—because right now, this is absolutely unacceptable.
