I once tried to fly with Lufthansa many years ago, and my flight was cancelled at the gate, just before I was ready to step onto the plane.
We booked a flight for my mother to come and spend some time with me in Ireland. Needless to say ALL OF HER FLIGHTs (4 in total) were late, to the point where she missed her connections flights - without warning, explanation, support, extra service etc. When trying to sort the issue, you only get to talk to AI both - not much help. In the end, after many hours, we managed to sort the issue of rebooking her flights, but never again we will choose this company.
