Fauly Wheels
I purchased 4 of the 80 litre check in suit cases thinking Id made he correct decison. Im a frequent traveller so demand my cases to perform well. Ive just returned back from a trip to Turkey and Italy and had the nightmare situation of a wheel failure on my July case on its first trip out. I could manage on 3 wheel so just put up with it. A few days later a second wheel failed. I tried to source a replacemnt wheel but they are all very specific in the fitment. I was forced to abandon the case in Milan as id only just began my trip and could not continue the journey with this case so purchased a new case in Mialn. On my return i made contact with July which in its self was not so easy. I made the purchase on line and had my purchase dockets with order number. After finally being able to put my case forward i was duck shoved around till i was then once again forwared on to another department to be told i had no case to support my claim. I can sorta understand why this was dis allowed as i had failed to document the fault at the time in accordence with the July policy. I stood my ground and then requested they assit me and review my case bt was shut down with no where to go. I also put to them that i still have another 3 of thier cases and no longer feel secure in travelling with them due to a possibly wheel failure. Anyone that has been in my situation will know only to well just how it can be when such a failure takes place on the road. After facing the disapointment of my case being rejected i then requested to be supllied 2 complete spare wheel assemblies so i can carry with me on my next trip. This was also denied as i was told only new wheel replacements can be supplied if an existing wheel fails and not as a spare to carry. I even offered to pay the freight cost to have these supplied and again was denied. After being treated like this i could no longer support this company and its policy. Customer focus has gone and replaced with profits. Be wary on this one and please check all the small print
