I really like that QC is both beginner friendly (has instructive bootcamp classes, intuitive UI for coding and viewing plots/results, and extensive built-in functions) but also supports complex designs, i.e. no limiting assumptions or constraints on the user’s algorithms. The parameter optimization tool is really convenient and connecting to IB has been smooth and reliable. QC makes it possible for anyone (that can program) to explore algorithmic trading.
