I decided to donate my 1999 Mercdes SLK 230 Kompressor to Kars4Kids. I recently spent $4000 to repair the automatic hard top convertible, replace battery, new wipers, new shocks for the trunk and hood and the tires were relatively new. The car was in great shape bodywise and ran fantastically well but had some electonic issues not related to the driveability of the vehicle. It could easily be sold in my opinion for many of thousands of dollars. Kars4Kids sent me a receipt informing me that had received $825.00.
