COA Weak Traceability System
While Profound Aminos offers competitive pricing, fast shipping and easy website navigation their COA system is unreliable. COAs are tied to cap colors instead of batch numbers, making it impossible to verify which COA matches a specific vial once the cap is removed. The COAs I received even showed conflicting potency results and did not match my vial’s cap style. Without proper batch/lot tracking, there is no way to ensure reconstitution accuracy, safety, or accountability. I emailed my concerns to the owner and he said he did not plan to implement any batch numbers any time soon.

There are many ways to manage COAs, each with different advantages and barriers. It’s not as simple as it would seem.
The system you mention requires significant overhead, and requires sourcing product from limited manufacturers in custom batches. This is very expensive and would result in higher prices across the board.
We choose to keep our prices lower and provide test results for all batches we source.
Should you choose to look elsewhere for your vendor, I truly hope you’re able to find a source that checks all your boxes AND offers competitive value.
